961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: November 02, 2020, 03:47:00 PM
Bitcoin has many benefits, that's why it's becoming popular in the world. The best benefit of bitcoin for me is that it's a great payment system. I can pay or receive any amount of bitcoin without a bank's permission or government notice. It' easy to use and for me it's better than bank cards. Because maximum bank cards of my country have limit but bitcoin doesn't have any limit.
There are also other digital wallets that can receive and send  money without any approval of the bank or the governement. It's not the best part of bitcoin and I guess you should use it more to the peak of its potential because it has a lot of applications. The best benefit for me is it gives me profit through investment or trading. Also, the anonymity every transaction is what every user needs.

963  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Vlogs on how to earn in Bitcointalk on: November 02, 2020, 03:17:58 PM

964  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: COVID-19 Related Scams on: November 02, 2020, 02:51:30 PM

965  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: November 02, 2020, 11:44:55 AM
I don't get the meaning of approve to you? If you mean massive adaptation then there's still no country has done it yet. Of course, they will not adapt or use the cryptocurrency to their economic system if they can't control it. Why would you risk your country on an asset that has volatility.

Many people are already using it in different countries but as an asset only to grow money. Also, I don't think bitcoin will end up badly if you look on the market price right now.
966  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop bitcoin scammers? on: November 02, 2020, 10:56:30 AM
Some say we can't stop the bitcoin scammers but there's a thing we could do to stop them.

When I saw this thread, one thing comes to my mind is to be an educated person. How would you stay longer in cryptocurrency if you lack knowledge about it? If you have information, knowledge and wisdom and using cryptocurrency then it's impossible for you to be scammed by scammers.

Those common victims of scamming are prolly beginners in this community and don't have any idea how they will get profit in here. They're getting baited through free bitcoins and giveaways or maybe scam investments that have high ROI.

Totoo to.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 02, 2020, 09:28:53 AM
Just seen this.

https://www.gmanetwork.com/news/sports/boxing/762211/pacquiao-vs-mcgregor-won-t-be-as-big-says-floyd-mayweather/story/

Floyd Mayweather stated that the event will not be a big event without the involvement of Floyd Mayweather.

Do you think this fight can beat the 2nd highest selling PPV which is Conor vs Floyd?
969  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Naniniwala ba kayo dito? on: November 02, 2020, 08:49:26 AM

970  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merits? on: November 02, 2020, 08:20:22 AM
I have been searching here for how to get merits but the most common answer I found was by posting useful information. But I wondered how people give merits.
So I have a question in my mind that how posting useful info get merits and how people give merits? Can merits be shared with each other?
If most of your posts are bounty reports, then I think there is little chance of you getting merit.
I mean, you have to focus first on learning what a good post is like, maybe you can study posts from members who already have a lot of merits.
I've noticed that also.

@OP, It will be difficult for you if you just focus on alt discussion and bounty threads, it's better to change your style on posting if you really want to earn merits.
There's a bunch of one-liner post and AFAIK, there are plenty of users here who reports non-sense one-liner posts.

Many users have replied link here on how to earn merits, take time to read and better to study more about cryptocurrency. Those users with intellect and full of effort in creating threads or posts, received a lot of merits.
971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 02, 2020, 07:50:47 AM
The only solution for that is to seek help from professionals, I am not a professional when it comes to mental health but if we really need to overcome that kind of addiction, we should really take an action that will save us from that kind of state. Our family and friends can also help us for sure especially for those afraid to visit psychologist or psychiatrist.

It is really difficult to seek help from professionals if they don't have the will to do that. We can't force him to go to the professionals without he agrees. We could only suggest to him and remind him that he has addicting to gambling, which he needs to solve. If he finally decides to go to the professionals and needs us to go with him, we can help him and help him solve it. Gambling addiction is really hard to solve, and we already see many cases of addicted gambling, which end by losing all of what he has.

And also the mere fact that seeking for a professional help may required you to produce your professional fee that sometimes was costly too. Truly that gambling were addictive and we should be responsible for ourselves but for me the only cure for that addiction were in the gambler too. She/He was the only one who can cure himself/herself by just controlling his/her habits. I do gamble too but i see to it that i follow my own schedule. Yep i set my own schedule for gambling, and having a twice a month i guess were not bad but of course if i have a capital to gamble with were on top of my priority in terms of gambling.
I think it's hard because your mind's thinking if you will gambling more or will stop, it will just stress you out. Gambling addiction is difficult to cure, at that point, even yourself can't do it unless you've encountered some situations that might change you because of your wrong actions. The best solution is to seek help from your loved ones, they're the ones that will help you to cure and will make you entertain to forget gambling. Once you're addicted to gambling, it's very hard to manage and schedule things because you will only seek is gambling.

973  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Maging mapagmatyag at maingat on: November 02, 2020, 07:24:43 AM
Simple thing to do is wag nalang pansinin yung mga ganyan, you should not entertain those scam messages at alam mong kadudaduda, delete agad.

974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not needed but only for investment purposes on: November 01, 2020, 11:14:22 PM
We really need bitcoin right now because it's already playing a huge part in different countries' economies.
If you invested in it then you'll know it's profitable and has huge opportunities to grow money.

Bitcoin is a game-changer and might be a stepping stone for implementing a cashless society.
975  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren thoughts on Bitcoin on: November 01, 2020, 10:48:52 PM
I guess he's a traditional man and only invests in the common assets.

I get it, he doesn't care about the newer one and he didn't see any potential to crypto, that's not our problem anymore.

Many popular personalities stated that they're not using crypto but who cares? we do have different preferences on where we will invest our money.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: November 01, 2020, 10:29:19 PM
A lot of people are afraid of bitcoin because the legal side isn't clear at all, is really complex to be ok with the government taxes and bitcoin at the same time. So, they don't want troubles. And another reason is that they get scammed with a shitcoin or a token and now they think all the cryptos are a scam.
Agree to you statement, as long as the use of cryptocurrency in your country is not still credited yet then prolly, few of netizens will take risk and use bitcoin.

That's why if the government adapt the usage of crypto, prior knowledge is necessary to avoid scams.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: November 01, 2020, 10:17:06 PM
Both of them have a different purposes in this world and decentralize is one of the main key features of cryptocurrency.

People are now considering the use of cryptocurrency due to its features and we can build a lot of business through it.
Since crypto has placed a good role in the market, and both crypto and fiat are definitely good for the increase of the economy.
978  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: November 01, 2020, 04:07:33 PM
I'm afraid because it takes too long before they've made a vaccine that will cure COVID-19, our chances to live a long life will decrease. Also, it's possible in the near future to have another virus spreading all over the world, the extinction of humanity might occur.

I hope that there are other ways to fasten the release of COVID-19 vaccines with complete and successful trials.
979  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: November 01, 2020, 02:58:12 PM
Bank will remain centralized in the country.
Bank make many transaction easy for every humanity in the world. Many people are used to bank system over some years before cryptocurrencies came to exist in the world today.

It will not be easy for someone to live without bank because the rate of robbery in the country is causing many people to operate bank system to make sure their money and other documents are safe.
Many bitcoin user are still using bank to assist their transaction to make sure they see the cash physical.
Agree to it, banks are there for how many decades and many people are used to it.

And besides, banks are now implementing online banking and developing their system on transactions and I guess those improvements will make them stay longer. It's impossible for banks to extinct as long as there are many people using it especially huge companies.

So I guess for some people, it's impossible to live without banks but some don't really care, maybe because they don't have enough money to be saved on banks.
980  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: November 01, 2020, 02:37:46 PM
Here in India, the food prices were stable for the last 5-6 years. But during the last few months, the prices have risen for a few items. There is no need to panic yet, but it is highly unusual. The farmers are having surplus output and everyone were expecting the prices to go down. And in the end we have to deal with rising prices. And the biggest tragedy is that it is not the farmers who are profiting out if it. Only the middle-men are making profits.

This is the problem where the end user or the end person who produces does not benefit it. And those middlemen are generally the ones where those would be related to government officials and they have a percentage in that too and due to which they only make money and no one else benefit on either end. Only a strict policy if laid down can be helped else it will continue like this only.

Those middlemen who prioritize profit are just taking advantage of the current situation and it's obvious that they're using our local farmers to gain more.

I'm also wondering why we need to import goods from the other countries if we can make our own goods and support the locals?

This is the problem in different countries, people are very greedy, it doesn't matter to them if your lives at risk.
