wow, hier braucht nur irgendjemand in einem Post das Wort IOTA zu erwähnen, und alle fühlen sich irgendwie angepisst. Ich weiss schon warum ich normalerweise recht wenig poste. Ich verziehe mich auch wieder in den Hintergrund und lese einfach nur noch mit und schaue zu, wie sich alles so entwickeln wird. Also bis dann mal  liegt vielleicht daran, dass das ein bitcoin thread in einem bitcoin forum ist. die professionellen, mit traumhaften budget ausgestatteten iota marketing fuzzies arbeiten gut. sie erzählen jedem, wie scheisse bitcoin ist und wie supermegahypertoll&cool iota ist. die ganzen nervösen IT leute in der deutschen industrie (welche im übrigen das thema IT in den letzten 20 jahren sträflich vernachlässigt haben und sich drauf verlassen haben, dass der deutsche maschinenbau uns immer währenden wohlstand garantiert) werden jeden tag nach ihrer "blockchain-strategie" gefragt und haben keinen schimmer, was bitcoin eigentlich ist und was es bedeutet und was es kann. da kommen die iota marketing fuzzies gerade recht. das was die etherium foundation kann, kann die iota foundation auch: rainbow unicorns an die wand malen und mit verachtung auf das einzig funktionierende blockchain projekt herabschauen: bitcoin. ich fordere MEHR angepisstheit von bitcoinern, wenn es um shitcoins geht. und iota ist ein parade shitcoin allererster güte. |

wieso denn paranoid? der kurs macht 20% sprung und ein paar tage später beginnt springer eine neue sichtweise auf bitcoin zu propagieren. vielleicht hat die redaktion beschlossen den kurssprung als anlass zu nehmen ihre meinung zu bitcoin "bitcoin ist tot"/blockchain not bitcoin" zu ändern. ist auf jedenfalls ein deutlicher unterschied zum normalen bitcoin bashing in den msm. I say...it is the spring of 2013 all over again (by the looks of it).
Expect the unexpected (as far as where it might go).
So your saying we could go parabolic way before TA & past performances indicate? I’m also a big believer of expect the unexpected or like it can happen sooner as we think... (also later), but its just so unpredictable, though HM’s stuff mostly is very good, but Then again it could play out like that or it can skip the long boring?? We shall see  I’m for Organic and steady as i’m for just GO F***ing PARABOLIC from just NOW  To be honest mic, thinking about it I prefer organic & steady. The price stands a much better chance of staying high once it gets there if it’s gradual. I’m not a fan of a ridiculously quick bull run that collapses like last time. We don’t get to decide though do we, so we have to be prepared for everything. I just don’t want to get greedy like last time & get caught with my pants down, selling nothing before a long, cold bear market. I must take some profits / life changing money out next time. imho last bull run went on for more than two years. compared to the one before (oct/nov 2013) which was basically a 10 fold rise within a month it was super slowmo. I was expecting a last crazy 2x or so spike because of the crazy spikes it did on former tops of bullruns. looking at it from now it seems the spike was on the monthly candle. (2x month) not weekly or daily as I had expected. I thought we would blast through $40-50k. and I was in denial until we hit going under $10k. and about taking life changing money "next time" it will be interesting to analyze how this beast called bitcoin will have fooled us again next time. but maybe this time its different TM |

Actually, I sold some yesterday and expecting a correction, there's no news that's can cause this price surge ( perhaps, Luke's April Fools BIP?). yeah, some social media monitoring bots bought this maybe... |

spring of 2013: btc moves from $12 to $250 in slightly less than four months. Some people attributed it to Cyprus, some to the willy-bot. Whatever happened, the chart is there. Funny that you mentioned: I am angling to buy a miner now, lol. Just playing with speculation is too boring. That and maybe Casa hodl . If you do you might want to mention changing from RSK would be a good idea it just brings to mind risky. Lol i will try that, nice link! i asked some people at the understandingbitcoin conference in malta and they said it is not possible to write a script that securely/safely executes a bet. but maybe rootstock has a solution. if it does not work via a script/contract then we have to do it with escrow and multisig. maybe we ask some guys well known in the community with a good reputation and do a 3 out of 5 multisig including micgoossens and me. |

hättet ihr Lust evtl. eine kurze Zusammenfassung zu geben von der Konferenz? Was so gesagt wurde / passiert ist?
Ich hab leider keine Zeit mir den Livestream der Konferenz anzuschauen. (Und denke mir fehlt auch etwas das Verständnis)
das waren jetzt zwei volle tage geballte info. der dritte tag läuft gerade, aber es gibt heute keine panels mehr und keine vorträge. heute kann man sich zu den jeweiligen entwicklern an die tische setzen und sich alles persönlich erklären lassen. also mit slush höchstselbst über zukünftige upgrades der trezor firmware zu quatschen (shamir´s secret sharing, btc only firmware um die nervigen upgrades für shitcoins nicht mehr mitmachen zu müssen, coinJoin integration) , von chris belcher über best practices zum thema bitcoin privacy ein paar persönliche tips zu bekommen oder die möglichkeit sich von christian decker ein geeignetes lightning node setup step by step persönlich erklären zu lassen ist schon nice. für komplette anfänger allerdings zu hohes niveau imho. hoffe ich finde zeit dafür ausführlicher von meinen eindrücken zur understandingbitcoin-konferenz zu berichten. die "jungs" sind alle bombe. das macht mut. hier tag 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2iv2MiGaYIedit: satzbau |

Ansonsten aber sind die Antworten von Rogers ziemlich schlüssig. Was hält mich davon ab, seinen Worten zu Cryptowährungen Glauben zu schenken? Gibt's einen "Plan B" bei Bitcoin Core, wenn Cryptos tatsächlich verboten werden sollten? Wäre nett, wenn mich der eine oder andere Veteran in der Hinsicht erhellen könnte ein verbot von Crypto müsste schon über die Vereinten Nationen (UN) und dann die umsetzung durch die einzelnen mitgliedsstaaten erfolgen. völlig abwegig ist das szenario nicht jedoch müsste es einen sehr guten grund geben warum das passieren sollte. die sichtweise der UNO ist im allgemeinen: wenn es die menschheit voran bringt sollte man es fördern und nicht dagegen arbeiten. um bankenkartelle zu retten würde man diese karte vermutlich nicht ziehen, es sei denn der zusammenbruch würde so gross werden, dass es ganze staaten (und ihre bevölkerung) mit in den abgrund reisst. Plausibel. Jedoch haben nur die fünf ständigen Vollmitglieder Veto-Recht, also könnte man umgekehrt durch einen Schulterschluss zumindest ein Veto gegen ein Bitcoin-Verbot verhindern. Ich bin aber nicht sooo bewandert in Angelegenheiten der UNO, könnte ein Trugschluss sein. Klingt für mich nicht plausibel. Denn die Vetomächte beziehen sich auf den UN-Sicherheitsrat. Hier gibt es die 5 ständigen und die 10 nichtständigen Mitglieder. Der UN-Sicherheitsrat ist im Allgemeinen mit der int. Sicherheit bzw. der Wahrung des Weltfriedens befasst. Selbst das klappt nur mangelhaft bis gar nicht und in den seltensten Fällen mit Zustimmung aller. Meiner bescheidenen Meinung nach wird niemand eine Sitzung des Sicherheitsrates wegen "Crypto" einberufen und erst recht keine UN-Resolution verabschieden. Es sei denn, der Weltfrieden ist massiv gefährdet. Resolutionen anderer UN-Organe sind eh "völkerrechtlich" nicht bindend. Es bestehen weltweit so viele bisher nicht gelöste Probleme, so daß ich noch nicht einmal ansatzweise daran glaube, daß auch nur eines der über 190 Mitglieder der UN dieses Thema in einen Ausschuß oder gar in die Vollversammlung bringen wird. Jedenfalls kann ich mir das momentan nicht vorstellen. sehe ich ähnlich. es sollte nicht vergessen werden, dass es sich beim bitcoin protokoll um eine neue technologie im bereich IT handelt. es wurde bisher noch nie eine neue technologie via UN sicherheitsrat verboten. da geht es um krieg und frieden zwischen nationen. einigermassen abwegig imho. wer es genauer betrachtet wird erkennen, das es überhaupt nur sehr sehr wenige technologien gibt, die wirklich weltweit verboten wurden. das sind es aber eher ethisch problematische dinge wie menschen klonen. da wurde aber auch nicht die technologie verboten sondern nur bestimmte anwendungen. revolutionäre technologien an sich wurden bisher, so vermute ich, noch nie irgendwo dauerhaft illegalisiert. p2p file sharing? bit torrent? hm... ist das weltweit verboten? nur wenn es um urheberrechtlich geschützte inhalte geht, oder? |

'schuldigung, wenn ich da was übersehe, aber wofür genau brauchts nochmal nen Plan B? Ich mein, für den äußerst unwahrscheinlichen Fall, das "Cryptos" tatsächlich verboten werden sollten, warum genau sollte mich das jucken? Es gibt halt so Verbote, die kann man getrost einfach so ignorieren. Is ja nich so, als ob das BTMG den Drogen-Gebrauch der Bevölkerung verhindern würde. Ein Bitcoin-, oder Crypto-Verbot gehört ganz sicher in dieselbe Kategorie, die Nutzung wird man dadurch nicht verhindern können, es werden halt nur andere (eben die "Kriminellen") damit reich. leider keine merits im moment. guter kommentar. |

Ich habe ein paar Chips vom Tisch genommen, heute morgen schon. Bin allerdings mit weitaus größerem Teil noch drin. Bei 6,5k würde ich wohl noch mal eine größere Tranche verkaufen. Ging mir doch alles etwas zu schnell. Das ist der x-te Ausbruchsversuch im Bärenmarkt, und mir konnte noch keiner schlüssig darlegen, warum es gerade dieses mal keine Bulltrap sein sollte. Was man hat, das hat man... und die Gewinne sind vielleicht eher von der Sorte easy come, easy go...
es ist das erste higher high seit dez 2017, also schon anderes kaliber als alles vorher. ist imho aber dennoch nicht das ende des bärenmarktes. wenn es gut läuft gibt es ein higher low irgendwo nördlich von $4000. jetzt einfach so über 6k zu spazieren kann ich mir nicht vorstellen, aber hey, it´s bitcoin. |
