21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: September 24, 2018, 09:26:06 PM
I don't see any reason why one should keep checking CMC all the time, even as a trader, I find it hard to check CMC, unless I am searching for an info on a particular coin.

When you are too close to CMC, you are liable to have heart attack

ICO is almost over, and your softcap is not meet yet, what will happen if the softcap is not reached, hope there will be an alternative?
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if the token or coin does not get into the market? on: September 19, 2018, 10:31:09 PM
If a coin or token never hits exchange, it means it never hits exchange, the token will be as useless as shit, not until it can be traded for something.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there anyone who's been in the market since 2014? on: September 19, 2018, 10:19:13 PM
The market is very though now compared to then, everything was quite easy and simple Then, I miss those days!
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Cryptocurrency Story. What Is yours? on: September 19, 2018, 10:14:24 PM
I get involved in Crypto currency in year 2014, it was quite though then that I  had to learn everything in a hard way, with no guidance nor councillor.
In my locality I feel I was the only one that was into Crypto then, I had to teach some of my friends about the crypto thing so that I will have someone to share ideas with.
And we are all doing well now

27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a place in the future of finance as a global currency? on: September 19, 2018, 12:01:51 AM
IMHO, Bitcoin does not qualify as a currency. It is more of an asset and a medium of exchange.
Clear and simple,  imagine buying 2pack of chocolates with bitcoin worth approximately $5, going back the next day to buy same chocolates the shop keeper now tells you that, the amount on bitcoin you used in buying chocolate yesterday can no longer get You one chocolate today how will you feel? Crazy!

Come to think of it,  can one actually buy a chocolate with bitcoin? Considering the transaction fee attached to it.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a place in the future of finance as a global currency? on: September 18, 2018, 11:47:42 PM
I sincerely think its time we come out of the shell, and call a spade a spade, bitcoin stand no chance in becoming a global currency, it can only serve as a substitute.
Bitcoin has usability limitations while local currency don't, and this is why fiat currency will always be ahead of bitcoin.
29  Other / Meta / Re: One merit for worthy members! on: September 18, 2018, 08:59:58 AM
Are people so desperate and/or only looking at this merits system?

It would be better for people to actually work. There will be no more spam. My bounty work will be less controversial. Although I do not have a merit but I am not sad. That is natural, because I have not really contributed anything to the community. This new merit system will probably make me try to contribute more
Good luck!
Creating a good quality post and making quality contributions to forums doesn't hurt, but if only these newbies will slow down and learn.
We all wants to money, but one thing is for sure, learn the basics first.
You don't give birth to a baby and expect that baby to start talking, walking, and  start making money that sameday.
They all  happen one step at a time, and in all, making money  always comes last.

If you take time to learn about blockchain and cryptocurrency in general, you will definitely have to quality stuff to write about.

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So helpful cryptocurrency books on: September 18, 2018, 08:27:17 AM
What you actually need for a start is the basic knowledge on BTC, which is believed you will get on bitcoin github with no cost.
Don't spend money on what will give you headache, unless if those books are free
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOES PARTICIPATING IN AIRDROP STILL HELPFUL THESE DAYS? on: September 18, 2018, 08:19:33 AM

This guy is very funny, you must be a Philippines I guess. If you got $100 for 8months on Airdrops accumulated, then in 16years of collecting Airdrops, you should be expecting $2400  Grin
You're funny bro
It's better for me to start throwing stone into the bush than for me to waste my time on Airdrops.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: September 18, 2018, 08:05:24 AM
From my point of view, regulation can help the crypto-currency world to start a completely new frontier in its development, but the only other thing is that crypto-currencies today have very great opportunities in anonymity, but this problem will soon be resolved.
Crypto is not as anonymous as you think, you can be tracked down if you are involved in any criminal activity.
So, don't see Crypto as a place of hide if you are a wanted person   Grin
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: September 18, 2018, 07:52:01 AM
It all depends on the type of regulations, it may be favourable to some and to Some, it may not.
All I all, if Crypto is been fully regulated, across all the countries, there will be a form of limitations with the way we are using crypto currently, example is the U.S. these government agencies will want to control the way we use our crypto token/coin.
They will always want to be at the top.

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ethereum Creator Believes Days of 1000x Crypto Growth is Gone on: September 11, 2018, 05:55:53 PM
According to Vitalik Buterin, the co-creator of Ethereum, the days of 1000x growth as seen in 2017 in the cryptocurrency sector is gone.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Buterin emphasized that the awareness of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology has already achieved its high point in Dec. 2017, when the price of major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash demonstrated 10 to 300-fold returns
https://www.ccn.com/why-ethereum-co-creator-believes-days-of-1000x-crypto-growth-is-gone/

Do you think ICO companies are the ones killing the ETH market, due to the rate they dumped the ETH they collect from their sales?

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DACSEE - Decentralized Alternative Cabs Serving & Empowering Everyone on: September 11, 2018, 12:11:32 PM
Website is excellent, I agree, but today you need so much more than a website to succeed. Most important aspect will be adoption, getting merchants to use your tokens everywhere!!!
They got the merchants, if there's one unique thing the team is lacking, it probably be a good communication skills. They don't have it!
They need to hire a professional that is good in communication, even when there's no news to share, he/she should be able to keep the community busy with latest gists
