until now I have never bought gold or silver with bitcoin, and in my country there is also no place to buy gold or silver using bitcoin, in my opinion buying bitcoin and saving it is an investment that is more profitable than using bitcoin to buy gold or silver.
I have also never heard of buying silver or gold with crypto particularly BTC. I guess crypto payments aren't that common which isn't surprising. |

some today indeed I see price-XRP is on the rise. This could be a good news, or even will happen bullrun. but it's a great opportunity in this, you can use to play short term with these coins.
In fact many markets have been on a slow rise today that is good but one must be vigilant as this may not end up into the bull run everyone expects. |

You could actually apply your knowledge of technical analysis to trade other asset classes such as stocks, but you may want to consider the fact that stocks are highly regulated markets with a lot of automated procedures. You are likely to find it much more challenging and more likely, less rewarding, the fees are significantly higher.
I agree with you on this one. The knowledge on trading from crypto is transferable to any market but like you say one has to be mindful that the stock markets for example are not as volatile as what we see with crypto. |

Well, this is not ideal but at the same time is not the worst news that could have happened. Facebook is not much of a player in this game which is why I think fb banning won't mount to much. What do you lot think?

You have chosen to do the correct thing by going back to the basics to learn about crypto currency trading before you commit money into it.This very mistakes is made by 90% of would be traders as they have known next to nothing about crypto yet they will start trading and ultimately lost their coin. You need to get yourself a mentor who you will be ready to guide you as you grow in your crypto space. All questions when trading will be answer by your mentor and the next is that you have to learn through simulation till your confidence grows to dare the life market.
I strongly agree with you. In situations like this the best thing is to take a step back and analyse and calculate the possible and the best ways out. |

The journey to making it big in the crypto space most times might not be smooth. Even virtually every success in life is not always on a bed of roses. There are challenges we need to overcome. There are times we gain and sometimes we loose. See these as just what you need to pass through and do not be perturbed.
Every experience has its lessons and blessings.
-Even if you have been scammed, get your lessons from it.
-If you lost your money in the cause of trading, try to know what made you to lose.
-If you made a wrong choice of ICO, know what lead to it.
-If your predictions never worked out well, consider the factors.
These and some other things are what make the crypto experience interesting.
Though, the path may be rough, you will surely get there.
In my opinion also the crypto market space can help so many people who actually hold their long term investments as actually long term and only this small minority will reap the benefits everyone wants to get a sniff at. |

we never know how the development of bitcoin in the future, in my opinion, the 2 points you mentioned, lightning network and bitcoin in Iran will not affect the volume of bitcoin trading on the market.
we know this year's down trend was created by panic, big sales, and hacking. this is an important point that has the role to make bitcoin fall.
I also agree with what Alex said. Particularly, on the point of Iran not causing much of a change in BTC price. If anything, the lightning network might perhaps do better at this than the news about Iran. |

My two main motivations for HOLDing is the expectation of wider adoption of crypto generally and that fact that the same explosion from last year is likely to happen perhaps not immediate but at least in the next couple of years.

did you think of the automated trading software? I made very good experience working with such.
Its good for a starters but in my opinion it does the minimal one should do whilst trading. Nonetheless, its good to familiarise yourself with such technology since it will become more popular. They can earn you some money. |

Some issues I identify with many ICOs are things such as the team not expert enough and don't k now exactly how to advertise it properly particularly allocating the money for marketing which plays a massive factor since without it no one will know of the ICOs' existence. Plus the difficulty of having to thrive in such a competitive market by providing a product people will buy.
