121  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin In Bullish or Bearish Trend? on: December 01, 2023, 02:50:59 PM
Quote
This clearly shows that whales aren't interested in the bearish side of things and the bitcoin spot ETF and halving hypes are more than enough to keep the positive momentum of bitcoin up and running.
Yes. Whales will not be able to capture and win the current maintained accumulation trend, I guess they are looking for another opportunity and not at this time. The ETF is clearly positive for creating excitement in the market but I would like to add one more reason as Micro Strategy also continues to believe in bitcoin and bought another $593 million. It further strengthens the consensus of bitcoin's next moving trend. I guess we are bullish and there will probably be bullish breakouts very soon as bitcoin confidence and strength align.
122  Economy / Economics / Re: New business idea. on: December 01, 2023, 02:10:04 PM
My feeling is that you are very familiar and very clear about the psychology of workers, machinery to produce graundnut oil and the actual, long-term needs and essential sustainable use of graundnut oil. Personally, I think this is a great business idea that you can pursue, it will solve many employment problems and positive thinking so that each person can freely own their own production facilities, something that stimulates each person's hard work and working ability to create more productivity and income.
123  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for November on: November 30, 2023, 03:22:09 PM
now is the last day of November, what do you think BTC will close this month, will it still not break 40k$?
and what are the views in December, will bitcoin still rise, or will it experience a decline because since the last 2 months btc has never gone down.

Now, I think it looks like the November candlestick will stop at $37k, the market is looking for direction and a correction in a range consistent with MicroStrategy's additional bitcoin buying. There is certainly a temporary waiting period before the correction consolidates and we see how bitcoin moves. No need to rush, take this time for patience. There is a possibility of a big wick starting in December but I am a bit skeptical. I guess if optimism continues to be supported by the market with the trend of maintaining accumulation. We should see the low of $38k hold before ending the year at $45k.
124  Economy / Economics / Re: Imaginary Future on: November 30, 2023, 02:19:20 PM
Do you ever feel like that being after saving or investing for future you forget to live in the present? You don't buy the things you want to or don't go after experiences you want because you'd rather save/invest for future instead.
I think, Sure, life “experiences” are necessary, but the future is important. I am not a selfish person who only lives and spends for myself. Each person will have their own family and it is your responsibility to save and build for the future. Some people I meet have the mentality of being satisfied with what they have and don't need to think about the future. That makes them always think "satisfied" and "excited" in the present.
“experiences” help make current life meaningful, interesting and valuable. It helps us have more experience and also become more mature. So, a harmonious combination of present and future development thinking will be best.
125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 29, 2023, 03:45:46 PM
Actually on your question, you are hearing a lot about bitcoin investment or someone shares with you about a potential option and you decide to take action after doing your own research about it. I think that's good, but you have to build your investment strategy and plan? You will wonder if that amount of savings will earn interest in 1 year, 5 years or 10 years? Or when you withdraw that savings to invest in bitcoin, how do you set your profit target? you need to determine that. It's yours! when you think it is enough and you are satisfied, then your decision will be right.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: November 29, 2023, 03:08:38 PM
altcoin that I will invest $1,000,000 in are Ethereum and Binance, because I am sure that with just invest on these two altcoin, so I will definitely get a big profit in the future, especially now that the price of Ethereum and Binance are going down, due to the bad market conditions (bear run), so by investing in Ethereum and Binance at this time, then I will definitely get a profit of at least 10x when the next bullrun occurs.
Yeah, i agree. 1M$ is a huge source of funds. If I could only choose to invest in altcoins, I would put them in top altcoins like ETH, BNB because they are options that have achieved high trust throughout history. , user base and applicability. I would not bet such a large amount of capital without a consistent and unified plan. BNB has problems related to binance and CZ problems but its development and potential are hard to deny.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your altcoins for bull session (Between Rank 30-200) on: November 29, 2023, 01:40:06 PM
It is true that the bull run market is still quite long, but plans have begun to accumulate strategies to be ready until that happens. That is also the time to look for opportunities to reorganize your investment portfolio. I have absolutely no objection to searching for altcoins from the top 30-200 in mc. But I have a mixed strategy between my portfolio, keeping mostly 75% in ETH, BNB, TON, combined with a few altcoins ARB, EDU, FIL, IOTA. Of course I think direction is part of the process of setting goals but being flexible in considering potential altcoin positions must always be on the table because altcoin trends explode very quickly.
128  Economy / Economics / Re: #HODLing is not a smooth journey on: November 29, 2023, 01:08:00 PM
I think Holdling is a simple concept but not everyone understands it and acts correctly. More generally, it's like a strategy, a plan that requires patience, discipline, and certainty that won't waver, it's like showing loyalty. I understand that in today's investment genre, being flexible, proactive and constantly changing plans to maintain profits is a must. But combining them at the right time to create benefits is the most important ingredient in implementing plans on target.
Holding does not go smoothly because you have to overcome many temptations, greed, etc. Holding at the right time and with the right choice, keeping the right goal is not easy.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of These price tragets are realistically possible in 2025 ? on: November 26, 2023, 03:10:32 PM
The biggest reality I can say that is likely to happen is Bitcoin = 120k-150k, ETH = 10k-12k, BNB = 1k-1.5k. Altcoin trends will change target selection very quickly. I think we cannot rule out the potential for TON = 30-50, SOL = 500. There are still possibilities of new breakout trends that we need to recognize early to find profits. Of course, it all depends on the capabilities of bitcoin
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: November 26, 2023, 02:05:29 PM
New altcoins are definitely high risk. However, I think in reality there are still serious projects making efforts even though the market is still in a period of recession and regeneration. So I think new altcoins at this stage really have potential. Identifying them is easier than during an altcoin bull cycle. Regardless of these stages, Dyor and feel for yourself, consider and evaluate their quality before investing.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: No Correlation Between Academic Success and Financial Success on: November 26, 2023, 01:09:27 PM
That's why I am against comparing education and profession in financial matters.
I agree. I think the collection of comparative data and feedback between academic success and financial success is meaningless. My reason for this is that most of my work involves contacting many people because most of my work is in the marketing market for telecommunications products and services, through contact and exchange with a number of people. As we have seen, they may not have good academic qualifications, or even bad, they still own iron and steel shops, construction materials, or wooden furniture shops... A few of my friends have proven it. Most people with advanced degrees and successful studies have chosen to challenge other jobs because of the difficulty of finding a job that matches their expertise. Therefore, financial success does not depend on academic success - examples include Jack Ma. Lol
132  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 25, 2023, 02:59:41 PM
I think that thinking, effort, and personal initiative will be important ingredients to have luck and success in work. It doesn't mean achieving financial freedom early, but it will probably increase your odds of achieving financial freedom. There are very young people 20-30 who have achieved financial freedom, and there are also people over 40 who have just achieved financial freedom. As long as we are independent and try our best in everything, financial expectations will come. Family is also an important factor for financial freedom. I notice some people when they get married - they have more conditions and start businesses and achieve financial freedom. Some people are the opposite. Financial freedom is something that is not easy to achieve. It comes with an element called luck. I also expect to achieve financial freedom at age 32 Smiley
133  Economy / Economics / Re: this makes a huge impact on the economy. on: November 25, 2023, 12:19:15 PM
I noticed majority of the people in my area tend to spend more money then usual when they get their salary, like buying things they don't really need.
I said majority of people because my dad owns a grocery store, I have noticed that most of the customers tend to buy more stuff on the 1st and 10th day of the month because on these days they get paid in my country.
I already seeing this pattern on news or business related youtube videos, but I didn't think it was a big deal.
Now I realized that its very important to consider this behavior of people when making business decisions because it can have a big impact on the sales or finances.
I am surprised by it because in my family we usually buy only things we really need, I am starting to understand how other people's spending habits can affect the business.

Do you also find yourself spending more on you payday?, or you approach your expenses differently?
That is the actual need of workers. Therefore, business/merchandising activities rely on this behavior and need to stimulate product and food sales programs... on payday or vacation days. Personally, before receiving my salary, I often refer to some things that suit my needs in life or are useful in my work. And when I get paid, I will also buy it. My friends, colleagues, and relatives also have this tendency. I think it's normal. Some people may not be able to control their hobbies and spend/shopping excessively, making life difficult.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Durning bull market we will received many good bounty? on: November 25, 2023, 11:49:17 AM
In a bull market, bounty campaigns will become busier and more abundant. However I'm not sure about the possibility of getting better rewards. This means you will be careful when participating in campaigns because high quality/ Paid campaigns will be mixed with fake, scam/non-paying campaigns. Personally, I like to look at campaigns that go through down cycles because they really try, even though it's difficult, to stay focused and build. At least that makes me feel impressed, admired and supportive of their promotion. If they truly retain their potential and develop in the right direction. The rewards will be truly huge when the market goes up.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we got new CEO of Binance on: November 24, 2023, 01:49:56 PM
I think that ordinary users will not even notice the replacement. It is important what policy the exchange will have and whether everything will work as before. Let's see how the new CEO will perform and how the large crypto community will accept him.
big fat chance CZ would just advise from behind the curtain therefore the policy will be more or less the same as it is today.
but CZ stepping down from his position of CEO I guess the best decision their company could make, otherwise they'd receive even heavier punishment I guess.
personally considering the fact that the binance reserve was still humongous anyway, even with withdrawal of more than 1 billion at the news of CZ stepping down it will do nothing.
I guess the biggest change with binance nowaday is that they don't open service in US anymore and will be only focused on the other part of the worlds.
Yes. I think that more than 1.16 billion withdrawn in 24 hours will not be comparable to more than 150 million users worldwide. It is not a data that indicates severity. It is possible that successive events are likely to occur and continue to be detrimental to Binance with regards to CZ. But personally, I think that Binance's ability to maintain its position as the world's largest crypto exchange is unquestionable. They will do everything to complete the CZ case and overcome this difficulty. CZ's contributions to the development of Binance in particular and bitcoin/crypto in general are indisputable. So we need to wait for a continuation from Richard Teng...
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bnb after next 5years on: November 24, 2023, 01:15:40 PM
CZ stepped down as CEO due to the ongoing investigation by the US government. They've told the exchange to pay a $4B fine. This will have a severe impact over BNB's market price. It could be either the beginning of the end for the "crypto empire", or all the other way around. It's too risky to get into either BNB or BUSD these days.
Personally, I think CZ is an important person for bitcoin and crypto due to his enthusiastic support. Therefore, resigning from the CEO position at Binance, more or less, brings many feelings of fear and worry for the future development of BNB as well as the Binance exchange. However, I disagree if it is a sign of the demise of BNB and Binance. While DEX exchanges have not yet surpassed awareness and popularity, Binance is still a truly necessary and reliable bridge. In addition, Richard Teng's statements also bring a lot of peace of mind, even though Binance's development path will face many difficulties and changes in the future. But I think that BNB is still a worthy choice for long-term investment. Maybe the development of BNB will be more promising. That could be a big increase. Accumulating BNB is being included in many people's plans, including me Wink
137  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bye Bye Bear Market :) on: November 24, 2023, 11:50:45 AM
I couldn't say if right now it is a bull market or that it is about to go up as it is, because at any time anything can happen with bitcoin, but I see that there are many articles that talk about how a good price can be generated for this December and possibly a new ATH could be activated, I don't know, but it may be like that, if not, then it doesn't matter, the price is growing, I would like to close the year with $50k, it would be something great because that would be the case There are many who are as big believers in bitcoin as they are silent, as they always have Been , but I do believe that the price will not go down this month or the rest of the month.

New all time high this December? I doubt that it's going to happen, we will not be having that kind of spike though, we have to make a gain of more of more than 100% at the current price of Bitcoin. Not saying that it might not happen, but the probability is not there as it will take a lot of money from investors. So it's better that we remain with the pattern, we will have to wait for the block halving to happen and then in the next 2 years, new all time high can be reach.

That's how the market's ecosystem is, we don't want a artificial pump because Bitcoin is not known to be that market, that kind of movement is more on the altcoin side. As I have explain in other thread, it's a pump and dump scheme, nothing more.
I agree with your point of view. Clearly the market needs time to recreate the bullish structure before the Halving arrives. The market is showing signs of stronger accumulation, everything needs momentum and a new cycle will come as history has proven. The bear winter is already showing signs of thawing, and that's a good sign. A downward correction is possible but we can trust bitcoin. I don't expect a pump-and-dump bullish outlook for bitcoin. It's completely impossible
138  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: November 24, 2023, 11:22:06 AM
sometimes individuals thoughts are not wrong because they are in desire to make their families happy so they are spending much on their families and at also they don't have any amount to make their life stable. I think a person should not spend too much money in present that his future become unsuccessful and he become unable to continue a happy and prosperous life.

Yes, Every person expects to have happiness in life. Depending on each person's perspective on happiness, there are simple, rustic things that do not include money and finances(This is somewhat rare). There are also people who like to spend more on current life than the future. Because death is unknown at any moment now. There are relatives of mine who spend a lot on daily life, eating, shopping for things they like,... Because they feel happiness is right for them. I have a family, but on the contrary, I prefer to accumulate money and finances for my family's future. Investing in bitcoin is also a form of accumulating assets for children and grandchildren. when money now exceeds its importance. It is nearly impossible to waste and it takes a positive mindset to make and keep value for money.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: November 23, 2023, 07:03:50 PM
I don't think the meme trend will explode again. I admit that memes have become important and positive for the crypto space and the market will determine the way forward. but for now, altcoins don't seem to be anything interesting at the moment. Bitcoin is the only source of energy for the market to readjust and form stronger demand. Maybe things are in the process of warming up and taking shape before the next boom cycle. Anyway, consider carefully before investing, at least that's the meme. Patience in any scenario, that is probably the big lesson.
140  Economy / Economics / Re: Life is cheaper with Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general on: November 23, 2023, 06:01:00 PM
I don't know about you guys, but for me, I have discovered that the longer one save in fiat, that is, hold fiat, the more life gets expensive, this is because fiat is known to lose value overtime for several reasons, when fiat loses value, they lose purchasing power, goods and services become more expensive, which in turn makes life more expensive.

This experience I coined from the current economic hardship my country is going through.
The naira lost significant value against some other major fiat currencies, most especially the dollar, this has made things in the country very expensive, which has also made life very expensive to live here in Nigeria.

But for those who have been saving investing, saving in bitcoin, and maybe some other major cryptocurrencies, life is cheaper as we all have seen that overtime, the price of bitcoin increases, and when this happens, major altcoins too experience the boom, thereby making good profit for those who spent fiat accumulating when the prices are low.

This is why I personally implore us all to be wise in how we choose to save our money,
Keep one million dollars in the bank for 10 years, by the time the 10 years is over, you pull out your one million and discover it can't buy much because things are no longer at the same price as they were 10 years ago.

But keep one million dollars in bitcoin for 10 years, by the end of the 10 years, one million dollars must have turned into 5 million dollars or more, and even if things have become more expensive in the market, this money will pay for it all and you will still have a lot of money left to do other things.
Yes,I think the loss of value of money is related to inflation. Of course, not only does holding fiat currency cause expensive living and devaluation of fiat value, but there are other major causes. For example, governments increase printing of money to exchange value with other fiat currencies (reserves in a better sense), debt ceilings cause deficits in budget reserves, corruption results in printing orders extra money. It's clear that as fiat currency downsides become increasingly risky, it's much better to hold onto bitcoin. I am not referring to the investment status but only analyzing the corresponding better value
