perhaps the most interesting is the 3070, less consumption less price and a hashrate close to 60mhs.
Anyway, amd 6000 series sure are cheaper, and with a very high hashrate.

I hope they will be on sale soon in stores, this way the prices of the 5700 will be lowered a lot. AMD WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER FOR MINING

Hi all, I’m having trouble figuring out why my sapphire pulse 5700 xt is failing to flash/read rom. Weirdly, I was able to flash 8 of the same cards successfully. I tried to flash 1 more and both times gave me the error above.l. I’ve tried: -DDU to uninstall and reinstall drivers -Connecting the GPU directly to mobo’s x16 slot -Using different risers -Using atiflash293plus -Using atiflash normal -Using -AtiFlash -unlockrom 0 -Leaving only 1 GPU plugged in -Using different file paths for AtiFlash folder - clean install windows 10 I’m not sure what do to at this point, anyone have any ideas? attach image https://i.postimg.cc/GhN0FLfc/Sin-t-tulo.jpghttps://i.postimg.cc/Nf7tcqCY/Sin-t-tulo2.jpg

I've seen it a few days ago, but I don't know how to use it, anyone know?

I have all 4 reference 5700 cards flashed to XT and mining around 55mhs. any advice to get them to 57-59?
try Core 1300 memory 1850

Woke up this morning to majority of my shares being rejected.
I'm assuming this was because memory was set so high (1900 mhz) I pulled it down to 1850 (925) to see if this helps.
What GPU do you have? Invalid shares are usually due to invalid timings on gpus , if you get them after modification. I recorded a video with the process, and when I reopen the rom with the modified straps, they are the same as those in estock rom, do you know what the problem is? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCs0QqZQmNgI think there is bug in software , when you save it is actually edited. When you reopen , it shows edited timings but when you click on it it shows previous timing. But the saved file contains actually your edited timings. Tried this myself and replicated your problem. Did you upload edited timings to your gpu. 2nd set of timings was for me that increased performance significantly. Perfect thanks flashed and mining now 57 mhs

waiting for PBB or SRB The program does not work well. Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCs0QqZQmNgI have followed the steps and is not able to modify the timmings load the rom. copy 1500mhz to lower 1850 like polaris cards and save the rom. I open the program again and load the moded bios and.. surprise, the straps have not modified, It has the same as stock rom.

It is funny with 4Gb video card in windows 7 I can mine, but when I install windows 10 on the same computer I can not mine anymore because I get error CUDA error - cannot allocate big buffer for DAG.
anyone knows why is that happend? Can I disable something in windows 10?
W10 use for the OS 600mb of GPU memory cannot be solved, it is a ''feature'' of windows 10

Can you say which 5600XT is? Sapphire pulse or...
yes is sapphire pulse with stok bios. maybe try the last bios with 160tdp and high clocks , but I think it will not improve mining performance would be interesting memory timings in 5000 series

Have you tried to OC?
memory stock is 1500

my results Not bad what is the power draw from the wall? oscillates between 95-100w at the wall

my results

as the dag is more than 3gb now but less than 4gb so will it work only for cards that have 4gb or 3gb cards will work too using this method like i have gtx 1060 3gb and i know they cannot mine eth and etc anymore but do you think i can use a vega 56 as first card and two gtx 1060 3gb after that and run the miner?
Theory says yes. but I haven't tried it, I found a video and it seems to work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRIX5mpVntk

this is true? seen on reddit, users say it works and that by adding an 8gb ram gpu as the main one, you can generate the DAG and continue mining with 4gb cards
Recently realized in my farm that my 470 4Gb rigs, which were all 6 card setups at the time, were not generating the dag any longer for ETC and then soon after ETH dag approached whatever level it was that pushed my system over the limit. After a day of wondering what to do, I realized a 470 rig I have with 1 8Gb 580 in it was working fine with the other 5 cards being 470 4Gbs. I took apart one of my 580 8Gb rigs and replaced a card on one of the 470 rigs. Mined perfectly fine. Did this to the whole farm and split the gpus essentially so every 4Gb rig has atleast 1 8Gb card in it. As for now this works no issues. I have a p104-100 rig with 1 470 4Gb in it and same thing, generated dag and mines.
I tested this on 2Gb R7 200 gpus and works perfectly fine. Card generates the dag as long as the system has one available card that is able to fit the dag on it. This is identical to how the 470 rigs are operating.
The same goes for 470 4Gbs with rx 5700s.
Edit: I tried and works. display GPU 580 8GB, others 4GB mining eth classic windows 10 claymore and phoneix without any problem
What kind of sorcery is this?

Memory 950 core clock 1200
Ethereum hashrate 26.5-26
power 70W-65w
I need more time for the tests. but it seems that the performance is not very good. maybe with some custom timmings ...
I expected more performance, maybe with some custom timmings I would improve a lot. at the moment the Navi bios cannot be modified.
remember that a rx 580 stock reaches 25mhs with custom memory timmings can reach 31mhs

support for rx 5700 series soon??
|
|
|
Anyone else able to squeeze a little more juice out of these cards?
modify timings/straps on the fly or bios mod but rx 5700 at the moment are unsoported

One question, how can I delete a rig from the rig list??

I think the most ideal thing to do with differs on your budget. If you have a budget - Buy a new card
- If you have the luxury of time and not rushing it, wait for the new RX 5500 or any other new series
If you don't and decide to buy a second hand - Make sure that you buy a GPU that hasn't been used for mining (yet)
- Do a stress test before buying the said GPU
If you are assembling a new mining rig, then I'll suggest going for second-hand RX580s and similar series GPUs. You'll be able to get them for very cheap. I've seen ~$75 - $100 for the price of one.
It could give you the most bang for the buck for your money but I don't agree that having a second hand would be the most ideal one for setting up a new mining rig. The most common thing is that if you buy a second hand, it could have been used previously from mining and you wouldn't want that. The strenuous amount of power that has flown could have damaged and input high heat towards the actual device. I doubt somebody would want to use it again, and it might not give you the optimum performance too. If you are assembling a new mining rig, then I'll suggest going for second-hand RX580s and similar series GPUs. You'll be able to get them for very cheap. I've seen ~$75 - $100 for the price of one. Optimize them and you can easily get around 30 MH/s per card. At the moment, it's not worth to spend much on new GPUs just to mine.
If you are purchasing it for yourself and going to do different tasks with the GPU other then mining. Then go with 1660ti SUPER as it will be much better overall. 1660ti will support tons of different algorithms to mine. Moreover, miners for RX5700 is not even optimized.
Thanks for the reply, I have many rigs of 470/570/580, I wanted to try something new. more eficient and powerful, but if you say that the new NAVI architecture is not optimized I will wait.
