Are you guys having some IP checker or something that should report if someone is connecting from multiple accounts and from same IP address ? Wouldn't that prevent multiple accounts from earning more deeppoints from domination task ?
It is a crude way to detect malicious activity. This can undermine genuine users. For example if a guy accesses my Deep Onion in his office and his colleague does too, and if they happen to have a share public IP, they will be banned as scammers which is not the case. Posting patterns is the way to go to detect malicious activities. |

That is a good thing to do. But the farming of Deep Points has been going on for quite some time. Is there no automated way for this? Manually doing it would be a lot lot work to do. |

After supporting Deep Onion for more than two months, today I got banned from their forum without any reason. I wanted to ask the moderator why I was banned. So I created an alternate account and asked him why I was banned. I was given no reason, and they banned by alternate account as well. Fed up with this. I am leaving Deep Onion.
You wont be banned for no reason. If you really don't know the reason, then there is a good chance that your account was hacked and used for illegal purposes (like Deep Point farming). Try contacting the moderators here if you are innocent. |

The main airdrop has requirements for Bitcoin Talk account age, quality post count here and on Deep Onion forum, and balance in Deep Onion address. i dont think we can make rules with whichs all will be happy, anyway there will be users who dont like them as have not money and other reasons cant get more .
Currently we don't need any new rules. There are two airdrops and bounty programs. These can pretty much cover everyone- the big wallets, the dedicated, the skilled. There should be very few people who do not fall into any of these three categories. I would say that contributing to Deep Onion forum is very easy. That said, it can help all. |

I followed up a little and I can say that the number of posts on the deep onion ANN on this forum has been reduced,
and the number of posts on the official DO forum has been increased.
It is expected. You get Deep Points for posts on Deep Onion forum which will be used for the Sunday's airdrop. As posting here more than the minimum does not result in any rewards, so we don't see increased activity here. I would say that the activity on Deep Onion forum increased very much, while here it is more or less the same. |

I'm interested to join this Airdrop for first time. Going through their airdrop rules: "Distribution will be based on the ONIONs you have in your account, you must have at least 100 ONIONs to qualify."
What does it mean? Do I need to have 100 coins in my address to join Airdrop? So they want us to buy these coins from market to participate in Airdrop? Doesn't make sense to me.
It makes sense with some background information. Earlier the airdrop was strictly based on the rank on this forum and contributions here and on Deep Onion Forum. That lead to some people using farmed accounts to get an undeservingly huge share of the airdrop. To prevent this fraud a new set of rules were formulated, and minimum requirement of 100 Deep Onions was enforced. |

We have a secondary airdrop based purely on Deep Points. They can participate in the forum and be part of the Sunday airdrop. Those who still complain are to be taken lightly and not bothered. |

I am really interested in your project and I hope you will change the requisites of the airdrop to let me participate. I have a question, will you change the date of joining of bitcointalk as long as the airdop continues? I mean, let in December the people who joined in October, in January people joined in November...? I hope you will do so more people can join. Thanks!
The incremental increase date is a good idea, and will not foster any kind of scamming with the other rules in the airdrop. It is highly likely that rule about the age of your Bitcoin Talk account will be relaxed in the future, but don't expect it to be very soon. You can still participate in the conversations on Deep Onion forum which can earn you Deep Points. Deep Points will be used for a new airdrop that is conducted every Sunday. Good luck with it. |

Trying to keep up with the exact comment numbers in the rules is a hassle. To simplify it think of it as 5 posts on this thread in Bitcoin Talk and 5 posts in Deep Onion forum. The length of each comment should be 15-20 words atleast(, which will cover the minimum 50 characters rule). That will cover the rule requirements. |

That seems to be a common thing to dump after the Friday one but not the Sunday one. I wonder why..
Dumping after the Friday can affect the price as people hold a lot of Onions for huge airdrop on Friday. Sunday airdrop is generally small and hence would not matter for a dump. Those that dump with this strategy do so with a plan. |
