121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: January 25, 2020, 03:11:27 PM
Hello,

I had this question in mind, since many of my trades with an adjusted stop loss got triggered, but then the market goes in the direction I wanted, but since it got triggered basically im out. I know this is due to big fishes messing around.

What do you guys think, is stop loss something or, or not so good?

It's just depend on how we use it, for me ppersonally it helped a lot with my trading style, i always place a stop loss whenever i entered a trade because i won't waste my time holding coins that already crashed. it's just the same with a knife, people could do cut fruits with it but they also could but their fingers by doing it.
Basically, cut loss strategy is helpful especially when you want to assure every trades. I am also emotional and I want to prevent myself to carry out in trading. Therefore, it will help me a lot to prevent a certain loss.
Actually, it is whom will use the cut loss strategy because there are traders can handle the loss but others prefer to limit their position.
in trading using a cut loss strategy will be more useful because one way to do risk management.
So we are thinking of bad too, but there are other ways like having a limit or making regular buy to minimize risk compared to cut loss
122  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: January 25, 2020, 06:50:57 AM
I personally welcome this well, but if we talk about a country, surely they will make full control of the use of currencies in the crypto industry. but making a crypto currency from one country will have an impact on other crypto industries, for example people who don't know bitcoin then they can find out even then if the country does not impose restrictions on access to search for people in the crypto industry.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My personal challenge: $1,000 to $1 Million on: January 24, 2020, 05:38:21 PM
I really amaze for the roi (percentage) of OP keep pushing until you reach your goal in my count this kind of amount is a big cash I hope I can reach this goal soon for my early retirement.
We will bookmark your thread to see the progress in the future. Goodluck OP.
I am also quite impressed with the investment made by the OP because on the time scale and funds spent, I have already said that there is a lot of time and money spent. then if successful in the investment made, then he can provide motivation to many people and I hope this investment can really succeed because there will be a 4 yearly bullish trend from bitcoin, I hope this can help the investment that runs.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum set new High in this Year on: January 24, 2020, 02:40:14 PM
I don't know, I also hold ETH, and I believe ETH is worth holding because the technology has been widely used by companies and has a wide community. but there is little doubt about the price that peaked when there were many ICO projects in 2017, is this just hype? hopefully after Ethereum 2.0 is realized, prices will peak again and get a new ATH soon.
eth has become one of the altcoins with considerable potential. because the volume and also their community is quite large and the platform they have also has a good level of use for developers who develop their platforms in this industry, because the use of the eth platform for new tokens is still an option, so I think eth is worth investing.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Pyramid Schemes are still Amongst Us on: January 24, 2020, 02:26:00 PM
Do you think scams will ever go away ? No! Scammers are just finding new ways in order to scam you of your money and cryptocurrencies are no exception when it comes to make quick money by just scamming people. I think just if we look closely at ICO's we can consider them scams...so yea...have your eyes open everyone and keep your funds safe on Bitcoin.
in other words, stop investing in a new project that pops up in various ways and methods through an ICO or IEO? I agree with that.

if you (someone new to crypto) want to learn about crypto, best recommended way is just buy and invest in bitcoin instead of investing in a scam project. because bitcoin is definitely not a pyramid scheme.
indeed it would be better if investing in bitcoin, and I agree with this compared to investing in new projects that have a big risk.
Sometimes choosing not to take a place that has a high risk will be better than betting on risk that we will not necessarily get a profit.
126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: January 24, 2020, 12:14:57 PM
Basically we've tackled this in our circle of friends. Mostly, they are gamblers, but their answer is quite simple. as long as you haven't lose amount of your total amount of fund you've bet, you could try to play again and again. Once it exceed your investment or total bet, it is pretty fair to stop it right there, and go back when you have another set of funds to risk and play again. But in my opinion, I need to have almost 5 times of profit first from playing because IMO, it is not worthy to stop if you haven't earned allot.
with these words I am sure that you will not stop because you will never be satisfied in gambling. but if your goals are multiple profits then I think there will be time for you to get bored of gambling, especially if you can already get a lot of money from other methods which are certainly easier.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the ways i can cash out Bitcoin in another country? on: January 23, 2020, 09:35:07 AM
know in advance the rules for using bitcoin in the country you are going to visit, and need more knowledge about the account there to accommodate the funds that have been exchanged later. but if you make an exchange at a bitcoin ATM machine there then you only need to know information about how to use it.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: January 23, 2020, 06:07:29 AM
It depends on whos perspective to be considered. Because in the world of gambling, making money is both in the goal of the house and the gambler. But to consider, probably fair with 50/50 of real chance is hard to achieve because we really doesn't know if the gambling platform really follows a regulation on to the algorithms they have to make gambling possible and to provide best possible deal to people. Because if I would be in the middle of the parties, I highly think that house will always win in the long run.
gambling will indeed focus on money, but the advantage exists between home and gamblers and I believe this. then from if I play, then I will look for a friendly place, especially for houses that still maintain the gambling algorithm, because they get benefits in the long run whereas we only look for short-term profits.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me? on: January 22, 2020, 01:28:05 PM
January 2019 we have more bounties at that time but this year January seem to be different, very few bounty projects shows up, I'm not saying scam projects aren't around but this forum seem relieved from many junky projects like that of 2019, maybe scammers are tired of not getting answers in return? Maybe people are now smarter and scammers are starving? I so wish so 🙏 lol what about you?

It might be that the Scamming market is no longer flourishing in this community that's why we only see a few of them posting on the bounty section. Well! this is really a piece of good news because if we won't see them there, we can say that the legit project will have some more exposure in these coming months.  anyway, as far as I know, after the fall of the ICO the number of scam projects are drastically falling since last year.
fraud projects have declined drastically because the trend of investing in new projects has also declined. and the impact on projects that make sales nowadays, they have not been able to raise much of the funds they have. I hope that investor interest can grow again after halving bitcoin that happened this year.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: January 21, 2020, 04:21:58 PM
maybe some projects decided to wait for a more stable market
if no one is investing their money now why should they launch an ICO
It is the same funds in BTC or ETH amount but the fiat rates are half of the previously invested amounts. The rates have dropped a lot and the chances decrease for the new projects to launch the new token sale. The lack of perspective makes it hard to convince crypto investors to invest further.
After increasing with lower price of ethreum many ICO dead because they received payment platform using ethereum and have higher payment fee for listing coin on exchange market and make ICO have lower price after listing, but when ethereum as payment platform stable with higher price I think have possibility to make ICO success on higher price.

I don't think that eth prices affect the ICO growth process, so when you open up some of the existing history that when eth reaches high prices there are some projects that use the eth platform don't achieve success. so think about their platform, not the eth price.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH Adoption Never Stops on: January 21, 2020, 02:50:29 PM
to be honest, then why with the 13000 ATM machines did not push up the price of BCH above the price of BTC, I think 13000 ATM machines were too excessive because not necessarily many users who hold BCH in Korea, why not spread to other countries whether BCH supporters only exist in Korea and Japan, sorry I didn't mean to hate BCH because I just said it was excessive even though it really helped Korean people to withdraw the fiat currency from the ATM, unfortunately I didn't hold BCH, hopefully the adoption will be big even though the price still doesn't move high anywhere
we must think about this too, because an existing machine must be comparable with the use of that machine. excessive if its use can not be maximized, and the impact is also not large for the price of BCH on the exchange so I think the need for previous research to express opinions about this.
132  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My personal challenge: $1,000 to $1 Million on: January 21, 2020, 01:10:32 PM
Nothing is impossible in crypto, I hope you success OP.
$1,000 to $1 Million is a very ambitious journey, but if it's achievable in long term hold, it could also be possible through active trading.

Good luck, x1,000 of your capital is quite hard to achieve now that we are not anymore in the early stage but your dedication will make it possible.
if this experiment is successful then I hope the OP can provide a positive outlook for those who want to invest in this industry. the investment journey that will be carried out must be very interesting, because the capital spent by him is quite large and the time in holding can be said to be quite long, and his patience will definitely be tested in this investment.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 21, 2020, 09:22:32 AM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position
Of many altcoins that do have a guarantee of a bright future why do we have to choose a new altcoin that does not have a clear future? If I were personally, I would not risk risking my money on the newly developing altcoin because it clearly has the potential to lose the money I have. It's better for me to keep investing in old altcoins like eth, bch, bnb and even bitcoin which has been recognized by the world.
but there is still a new altcoin that has a good impact, maybe a small existence but surely there will be. but in investing it will be more altcoin recommendations that already have a good volume, because this will discuss the funds spent. but if you want to invest in new altcoin then it would be better to use only small funds.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The future of bounty looks uncertain on: January 21, 2020, 07:56:09 AM
Scam projects are the reason why bounties and offering dies.
Both investor and bounty hunter got tired of being scammed so most of us decided to stop supporting and promoting them.
How unfortunate for the bounty hunters out there. If I were you I'll focus more in investing of course and now start trying signature campaigns at the same time. Becauase in reality, sig campaigns got higher chances of being legit compare to bounties, plus, they are mostly handled by reputable managers so you can assure that scam and real ones are filtered very well Smiley.
but for me, it's good to see campaign managers are just people who handle projects. while the screening will focus more on the participants who follow the campaign. so don't expect more for screening by the manager because it would be better if we were able to assess the project and also do research inside.
135  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHICH CRYPTO MOBILE APPS DO YOU USE? on: January 20, 2020, 04:45:02 PM
I prefer to use a mobile wallet in one of the exchanges in my country, in addition to efficiency I am also facilitated if I need sudden funds by making a direct exchange into FIAT. so in the case of using a wallet I think that the purest security depends on the user managing their data, because I think the third-party wallet that I use is good enough in the system.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Stablecoins Promote the Mass Adoption of Cryptocurrencies? on: January 20, 2020, 03:06:34 PM
maybe if you think about it realistically then Stablecoin could be one of the best digital currencies for this industry that is used by people, because the stable price makes me speculate about the mass adoption of crypto from Stablecoin. but for bitcoin and other decentralized altcoins it might just be a place for special transactions.
137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Coinsbit Exchange. on: January 20, 2020, 01:49:59 PM
I have never traded in it and I know this platform from several communities that have a lot to say about their airdrop, maybe the name coinsbit is rising because their airdrop is capable of attracting many people to go into it, I haven't read their complete link whether the cnb token will has functions for both the platform and vice versa.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet best for your currency store? on: January 20, 2020, 09:34:36 AM
Coinbase is number one in your list but the fact is you never hold your keys thats the sad part of it. Its not advisable to store your coins in such wallet/exchange unless you're not concern with your coins and its fine for you to take the risk.

Im using blockchain for years already since I strated in crypto and didnt get any problem. Im also using our local wallet for cashout purposes because its convenient and less fee.
I personally think the use of the wallet depends on the user, maybe if you use a third-party wallet then you have to find a platform that is good for security and responsibility issues. and we need to store important files in our wallet safely and privacy.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: January 20, 2020, 07:20:58 AM
Very good advice for our bounty hunters and investors because this problem should we be in order for us to succeed to follow each project already many of us follow the project but only end in vain and much time we have spent but The result we do not get, in the future we have to find a project that can be profitable in a berkompanye of course this requires our own thoroughness in choosing a project.
maybe because the trend of investing in new projects now is not good enough to make the project unable to get many investors, sometimes the trend can make a good project even though it will be difficult to grow. therefore I personally will be able to come back again to support new projects when the trend has improved
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Consider All Altcoins Bad on: January 18, 2020, 03:47:45 PM
The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

your thoughts

This is also common with generalizing human beings.  Where you see a few bad persons, we tend to generalize everyone there as bad, not minding the fact that there still exists some good ones there. Same thing is also applicable to Alts. A lot of people often tag all alts as scams. Well, I come to realize that such persons need to be exposed to what altcoin really is.
in fact there are still altcoins that have a good impact on their platforms, so actually not all altcoins are bad. but because of the bad dominance of altcoin because of new projects, people assume that. therefore we must open our eyes more and generalize more on good and bad altcoin.
