I have a suggestion for Iconomi.

Iconomi can increase the number of Lisk they own by voting for delegates on lisk, which will give some forged Lisk in return.

According to my calculations, it can amount to burning of 124K more ICN /Month. Which is a very good amount.

They probably won't since it will jeopardize the asset itself. In any case, these funds are meant to be used as funds, and not to be used for staking or delegation

I miss Daparski. He predicted ICN would be worth a good amount at the end of summer 2018, so I'll be watching for the next couple of months, to see if he was right.

I've noticed a lot of ICN fans have vanished/gone quiet. Can I get a proof of life from the rest of the people who used to reply to me??

Sure bro, the thing is, BTT is ded just like you was from NOV until that comment!

Hello!

True, this site is a bit of a relic now.

I've been on the Iconomi Rocket.chat too, by the way. What a depressing place that is!

I think Iconomi have killed most of their community off. You may be one of the final beats before it flatlines completely!

I got strong hands, or heavy bags, whatever Cheesy!

Not gone, still here. Just working full time on my own project for the last 6 months

...
Rather than collecting piles of money from commissions, Cobinhood underwrites new ICOs that can be featured on their exchange. Cobinhood takes a small percentage of these new ICO coins to finance their operation. That’s how they locked in Cybermiles and helped them raise $45 million.

mate, that doesn't seem to be enough for daily operations

Robinhood adds zero-fee cryptocurrency trading and tracking

hmmm

I think it's for US residents only

Hi guys

probably it has been asked several times, so sorry if I'm repeating it again:

With no fees, how the platform is going to sustain itself? Also what about zero-fees ban in china?

In the whitepaper there is the mention of two funds: Coin Traded Fund and Coin Managed Fund, what have  these funds become? Are they listed somewhere?
BLX and Pinta.
Check iconomi.net/dashboard

saw the medium article also and i like some of the things i read. To a point i thought Jani is deaf when the feedback from community got NO positive answers with dates, NO "that will be included in our roadmap", but looks like the fella was taking notes.
What really turns me on from the 2018 roadmap is:

Daa managers
- Possibility for risk reduction (sound good i would be curious what is the aproach?)
- Support for company accounts (very good but too long to explain why)

Platform
-Big Four audit (would be good for public image but the community knows already that iconomi is one of the most serious projects out there)
-Private DAAs (lot's of people want to invest without the attention) but still the fees go into burning iconomi
-Introduction of fees payable in iconomi (YES! utility for the ICN token)

Users
Direct purchase of individual digital assets (i hope they keep something from the initial design and the thing with 30 seconds to buy at that price is heaven, hell would be kraken to end the comparison)
Fiat ramp up (fu_k volatility just go back to euro or dollars when market is bearish. 0.5 exit fee is nothing compared to -5% a day. Of course more fees to burn ICN everytime you change to fiat)

And the least and the best

The "Debit Card" is the best, everyone wants to be to spend the crypto profits without the pain of going trough 3 day bank transfers.

I would say careful with the new web design, i really like the actual one but i see how scrolling trough all the DAAs it's not so "feng shui"

gotta get this stone of my heart
IDNOW has 1,2 stars on google rating and i think they've payed someone to give them good ratings, like really, no joke. Please find another way for identification, you are loosing lot's of tier 2 and 3 money. I tried a more then a week  (9 days) more than a hour a day to get myself to tier 2 at different hours from different devices and connections with no success. Very frustrating! ARrrrrhhh!

Otherwise good luck to the team and a good slide in the new year! Keep doing amazing work! Keep finding innovative solution!

Damn, I wish some smart guy had warned us about ICN months ago!

There was this one guy who tried... but his posts kept getting deleted.

I sure wish I'd listened to him, and sold my stack!

 Grin

Hi Daparski!  Cry

LOL  Grin

I was wondering when you're gonna come back with the mask..
I deleted very few of your posts back then, and you know it. As for my bag - I invested into ICN, and for me it means to let the project develop - 18-24 months. Been saying this from the begining
Come back to say hi again end of the summer

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: November 06, 2017, 11:29:21 AM
I'd probably buy more considering they just burned another 742,000 thousand ICN tokens. So with every year they'll burn 2.5 million ICN tokens approximately. So 10 years from now, they'll be down to 75 million ICN tokens if my math is right and it remains at its current burn rate (more or less). 20 years from now, they'll be down to 50 million ICN tokens, and then their BTC value just keeps going up and up.

Sounds like a good deal long term or no? We have to think about it really long term. If you can wait 20, 30 years, this could be worth quite a bit for each ICN token.

Now, that's the rosy scenario. What is the worst case scenario?

But, the thing is there is no real usage of ICN for now. It doesn't matter if there are 1 million ICN remaining or 1 billion ICN. There is no use for them thus no value.

There is usage, it is not public yet. DAAs are still in beta for another 1-2 months
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: October 31, 2017, 11:37:18 AM
Stop the massacre, please, put dividends on ICN token holder, and the value will grow up !!!

I agree with you, dividend can make people interested to buy this coin and buy more if the coin price down. More coin and more dividend. People can get passive income although the coin price still down

You can't pay dividends as it would be a security. Personally I would like Icn to be a security and represent a real share of the company.

There is no legal framework towards tokens represent ownership of a company. It's not their fault, stop crying about dividends
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: October 08, 2017, 02:11:14 PM
Nvm today working fine.
Maybe it was short time problem. I dont check yesterday after this I was busy.
New funds looks great anyway.
Each daa will be only on Iconomi platform or independent token and list on markets ?
But if daa will be many is not possible I think to make each of them independent token and list on markets.
Better is keep it on platform I think.

I think a DAA can be tokenized if it has more than 1M USD in it, and it probably will be one of the ICN usages on the platform
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: September 29, 2017, 12:46:34 PM
FIAT gateway will be huge. Imo probably a bigger step than adding other DAAs (even though technically that will be harder to implement).

A lot of regular people flocking to crypto are not technical at all and simply want to be able to do a deposit to buy BLX and not worry about it afterwards.

I really don't understand the issue. Waves has implemented fiat gateways.

Why don't they get the DAA's up and running and then add the gateways. Look at the volume of 1broker, they do the same thing, allowing people to follow traders. It is not like this is all ground breaking tech. It has all been done already.

ICN holders are way too patient

KOMODO has done it as well. I would like to know what steps they are taking towards implementing the fiat gateway, have there been talks with any banks? They haven't said anything specific.

They have. Check last AMA on reddit. They don't comment here.

Have you tried to implement a FIAT gateway into your own company that is managing other's crypto funds? Everybody is so smart, has all answers and the best adviser/high level architect
Until it's time to actually build something..

Yup, everything should be up and running by the end of this year and the fiat gateway probably in the start of 2018.

Has there been any official announcement concerning the when the  DAA managers portion of the platform will be completed and fully functional ?

From my memory I want to say that it was by the end of the year

They are going too slow. So much time has passed and ICONOMI is losing their advantage. They have to setup the fiat gateway.

No they are not. They are placing strong fundamentals and are working the way everybody else in this sphere should - work and not hype. One year of development and the company already has a working product and a solid business model that already works.

It takes time to build back-end trading engine, logic, to develop and fine tune algorithms.. And tons of other things that you have no clue about..
As for fiat gateway - the barrier is not technical, but a legal one. Everyone that will want to implement a similar solution will have the same problems.

Stop being so impatient and enjoy the ride. Or trade the dips.
We are making history, in few years crypto will be all around and you will be the coolest dad in your kid kindergarden

I have a clue, that's why I said about the fiat gateway. It is a legal and not a technical problem of course, that's why I think the fiat gateway should be a priority, even with the platform as is. Maybe the legal framework in Slovenia is prohibitive for this, maybe they should set it up elsewhere, I don't know as there hasn't been any info on this topic. Have they said anything?

yes:

Q: Is fiat coming this year?
A: Hi lokvent, and thanks for your question. There are a lot of legal hurdles involved with incorporating a fiat gateway into the platform, but we are progressing nicely with our banking partners. As we mentioned in a previous answer and in the July AMA, these are currently the three upcoming major milestones: make it possible for users to create and test their own DAAs; make the platform and DAAs available to everyone; fiat gateway for direct entry with fiat money. Quality is always our top priority, and we hold all of our products to the highest standard. As we are focused on launching a great DAA platform in 2017, the public release of the fiat gateway may happen in 2018.
