after many hours, i have some problem with 2.7b :
- after many lost internet connection, it lose -powlim, -cclock, -cvddc, -mclock, -mvddc setting. - fanmax 95 but it's going to 99 (ok temp is to hot, but i have fixed a limit) - after many reboot for solve the first problem, it's always same. my setting isn't apply but app show at start it want apply my setting. - after all of this, he make # before all line of this setting (-powlim, -cclock, -cvddc, -mclock, -mvddc, -fanmin, -fanmax), but app try to apply always the previous setting.
come back to 2.6, and work perfectly.
The fan speed is ultimately under the control of GPU BIOS and the driver. We "tell" it to not exceed X% but some cards overshoot anyway, it at least for some time. As for the rest of the problems - what drivers you are using? If you are using the blockchain beta drivers, you better use other tools to set the clocks/voltages. With 18.1.1 or 18.2.1, the PhoenixMiner's hardware control options should work fine. yes i use blockchain beta drivers. thanks i will try new driver.

New beta version with added hardware control features: PhoenixMiner 2.7b. It can be downloaded from here: https://mega.nz/#F!HI9lnDAS!gIFL-f82FK1MK16amCv_iQ Here are the checksums to verify the download: File: PhoenixMiner_2.7b.zip SHA-1: e7eae3645429cb06178aa69728235e842c2548a8 SHA-256: b872fed471b72911e6980d08496c3da03867dd82e3175241a9d67b2686921c9f SHA-512: c787e1383048af9c67ab2f26f1f5eadf061c8fb32a9ae4592c876acd881cdb6ffca2baa2f669204671fd27d4add4d10dd20762f9d35324e89f86f8c49eef68f4
Note that this is not an official release and the solo mining features are not included in it (they will be included in the final 2.7 release). The changes are: - Added support for controlling fans, clocks and voltages on AMD cards (use the command-line options -tt, -fanmin, -fanmax, -tmax, -powlim, -cclock, -cvddc, -mclock, -mvddc)
- Improved GPU matching code to fix a problem with mismatched temperatures/fan speeds on Nvidia GPUs
Here are some important notes about the hardware control options: - If you specify a single value (e.g. -cvddc 1150), it will be used on all cards. Specify different values for each card like this (separate with comma): -cvddc 1100,1100,1150,1120,1090 If the specified values are less than the number of GPUs, the rest of GPUs will use the default values.
- We have tested only on relatively recent AMD GPUs (RX460/470/480/560/570/580 and Vega). Your results may vary with older GPUs.
- The blockchain beta drivers from AMD show quite unstable results - often the voltages don't stick at all or revert back to the default after some time. For best results use the newest drivers from AMD: 18.1.1 or 18.2.1, where most of the bugs are fixed.
- -tmax specifies the temperature at which the GPU should start to throttle (because the fans can't keep up).
- If you use other programs for hardware control, conflicts are possible and quite likely. Use something like GPU-Z to monitor the voltages, etc. MSI Afterburner also seems to behave OK (so you can use it to control the Nvidia cards while AMD cards are controller by PhoenixMiner).
- This should be obvious but still: if given clocks/voltages are causing crahses/freezes/incorrect shares when set with third-party program, they will be just as much unstable when set via PhoenixMiner hardware control options.
thanks and good job with 2.6 i make 169mh/s, now with 2.7b 171mh/s. i have a better hashrate with fury x, same for rx470.

https://www.noelshack.com/2018-07-6-1518858272-avg.jpgany possibility to connect to 2 pools or 2 account in same time ? to optimise minning ? im mining in average at 428 , last week i was at 428 now i see mining down & up , 24h @ 380 mhs ..... can you look for optimise this way ? may be ask job to 2 pool or 2 account ,and optimizes, saturated cards to work yes it's may be 2h @380mhs and next 2 @476 , yes average is 428 but for me card minning @380 was money lose here , i prefert minning non stop @ 428 or more ... any way to sature work queue ? your work queue is already satured. when you mine, sometime you have good luck, sometime now. app try to find the good answer, but sometime it don't find, sometime it find. you can try with multiple pool mining but it will be same. it's never linear.

many hotel in the world use a card or key you must place in your room for have electricity. you can travel and stay in your room all the time, same of a jail ...
ps : if you can do it, you participate to hotel make up her price (you think nobody show depense and earning on a hotel or over industry ?) or hotel close. yes you can thinking only of your profit, same of the biggest company in the world who participate to kill all people in the world for make more profit ...

I get it. The choice on hubworkers has to match the choice for autoswitches page. I presume that MULTI ALGO mining is more profitable than just mining CRYPTONIGHT. Which multi algo mining ALGO's can you recommend for AMD GPU's on mining pool?
but you must use many miner for mine all algo you choice. and the profitability isn't a good choice. better to mine one coin and hold, wait the price go up for sell (sometime many month, many years). i said this, but for me it's just a "geek game" if you want to mine monero, use the port for mine only monero 20580. if you want to mine cryptonight (or another algo) use 17xxx (for cryptonight it's 17024). if you want to mine multi-algo, it's better to use a third party (MultiPoolMiner for example), because this app benchmark your rig for many algo and switch for your profitability on T time. and for rx580, https://whattomine.com say the best algo is ethash, and ETH coin.
|
|
|
example on hubworkers i choice this job : AMD - Cryptonight, Ethash, Equihash
on autoswitches, i search my worker job : AMD - Cryptonight, Ethash, Equihash and now i show i mine Ethereum
this is only if i use port 12xxx

before i use multi algo switching on MPH hub.bat : :start ZCashMiner.lnk SGMiner.lnk EthMiner.lnk
timeout 1 goto start SGMiner.lnk : setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
sgminer.exe -k groestlcoin --name "groestl" -I 25 -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12004 -u <login>.<worker> -p x --no-retry sgminer.exe -k skeincoin --name "skein" -I 25 -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12016 -u <login>.<worker> -p x --no-retry sgminer.exe -k vanilla --name "vanilla" -I 25 -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12019 -u <login>.<worker> -p x --no-retry sgminer.exe -k myriadcoin-groestl --name "myriad" -I 25 -o stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:12005 -u <login>.<worker> -p x --no-retry ZCashMiner.lnk : setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe etc...

I am mining MONERO from miningpoolshub.com.
NsGpuCNMiner.exe -xpool stratum+ssl://us-east.cryptonight-hub.miningpoolhub.com:12024 -xwal xxxx.yyy -xpsw x -dmem 1 -h 1900 -mport 0
you aren't mining monero, you use the port 12xxx, you mine cryptonight algo, sometime monero sometime another coin. and with 12xxx it's for multi algo, so sometime you mine nothing.

Anybody tried to compare speeds with claymore with -dcri 9 vs phoenix miner? default value of -dcri flag is 30 in claymore and -dcri 8 or 9 value boosts the hashrate when solo mining Last time I tried claymore v10 still edged out 2.5d. I will try again today and report.
-dcri 10 make me 166.0 mh/s at 855w -mi 12 make me 168.7 mh/s at 865w

i have not read the all post, i want to know is possible to use voltage, overclock, underclock directly from the bat file like i used to do with claymore?
you never read the readme file ? or the first post of this thread ?

you can try this in same config file : "profiles": [ { "name": "xmr", "algorithm": "cryptonight", "rawintensity": "1000", "worksize": "8", "url": "stratum+tcp://<my_pool>", "gpu-threads": "1" } ] "pools": [ { "profiles": "xmr", "name": "xmr-me", "user": "<my_wallet>", "pass": "x", "devices": "0" }, { "profiles": "xmr", "name": "xmr-my_friend", "user": "<my_friend_wallet>", "pass": "x", "devices": "1" }
]
or use "quota" : "profiles": [ { "name": "xmr", "algorithm": "cryptonight", "rawintensity": "1000", "worksize": "8", "gpu-threads": "1", "load-balance": true, } ] "pools": [ { "profiles": "xmr", "name": "xmr-me", "user": "<my_wallet>", "pass": "x", "quota": "50;stratum+tcp://<my_pool>" }, { "profiles": "xmr", "name": "xmr-my_friend", "user": "<my_friend_wallet>", "pass": "x", "quota": "50;stratum+tcp://<my_same_or_other_pool>" }
]
not sure for all but you can try
