1  Economy / Economics / Re: wait for bitcoin prices to go up on: February 01, 2018, 11:35:18 AM
will this year be the same as last year's year after the Chinese New Year's celebration of the bitcoin price rises again and even exceeds the previous high, I expect bitcoin to rise from this decline, and we as users should be able to keep the price in the way we do not panic at seeing a price drop because this is all just a matter of time

can bitcoin rise after the turn of the new lunar year later?
at this point now?no one can really answer what will happen for tomorrow, though this happening is almost the same from last years, this is a bigger dip that that.from $20,000 to $9,000 isuch a big difference and i am really starting to rattle now but im staying brave coz i still trust bitcoin that it will recover and make a growth again

It’s actually not as big as a dip. The larger one a few years ago was from $1200 down to around $240, we would need to see the price drop to about $4000 for the equivalent.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where can i buy IOTA? on: December 08, 2017, 08:24:30 PM
Coinspot.com.au has them. It’s Australian though, but you can send BTC / LTC.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone making money thru bitconnect? on: November 26, 2017, 05:15:33 PM
More than doubled my initial deposit since September 17. I’m still skeptical though...
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee accidentally just revealed why Bitcoin is total fraud: Behold logic on: September 19, 2017, 01:26:23 AM
So 100 years away == rapidly approaching now?

I'd never thought about it that way, but you are absolutely right.
7  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining Contract Question? on: July 23, 2017, 02:32:21 PM
The profitability calculators are ok, and mining contracts can be shady.

Money you plan to spend on a mining contract is best just spent directly on coin.

If you do get a contract, use fiat to make the purchase. $X spent on a contract today yielding Y BTC will be worth $Z at a later date, but you will never recover the amount of bitcoin you spend on a contract.

Thanks Bees brothers for a speedy and easy BTC process.

I ordered the large BTC gift box as a birthday present. It is an amazing gift box and very well received.

Everything is packaged with care, and arrived in great shape.

One other thing, I ordered an additional lotion bar, left it in my car in 90F+ degree weather (32+ C) and was happy to see that it didn't melt and get all runny.

Haven't those already been sold at auction?
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: price getting down on: June 15, 2017, 06:03:47 PM
If you look at the historical price of bitcoin and extrapolate on a log scale (removing the outliers) the floor should be around $1800-$1900.

SegWit BIP148 might force the chart to have to realign a bit, but unless something catastrophic happens to the protocol, it will climb again.

LT;DR: If you bought high, just hold. Same as the last 100 "crashes"
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC or XRP? on: May 29, 2017, 02:01:55 PM
I'm a firm believer in a diverse portfolio. The basics apply. Do your homework, don't invest what you cannot afford to lose. Don't buy and sell based on your emotions.

XRP may be centralized, but so is the USD and we all use that too. Stocks, Bonds, ETF, Metals, centralized and decentralized crypto are part of a complete portfolio.

Pump and dump is real, but to me it's all part of the game. If you see a coin, and you like their purpose, read up on it. Research the developers and the founding members. Does the coin make sense to you? If you don't understand it, maybe look at something else. In the end, they are all only worth what people are willing to pay for them.

Plus, it can never hurt to have a few thousand coin (if you can get them cheap enough) in case they blow up in the next few years.
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: poloniex.com 4 days is sending money! on: May 28, 2017, 10:51:00 AM
I've bought etherium from poloniex last week without any issues. I did have a delay getting more XRP though, but it eventually came through.

We all know how "fast" their support is, but have you opened a ticket?
13  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Litecoin 2nd run: my short term goal is $38 on: May 20, 2017, 03:28:47 AM
I been thinking much of the same. I expected the post hype slump, and made out daily well. Waiting for the right buy back in time. The thing that's messing with me (still) is the [altcoin vs USD] VS [altcoin bs BTC] ratio. Know of any good charts that track that?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading site with good Ripple support? on: May 16, 2017, 06:37:29 PM
And sorry for the typo - it's https://gatehub.net/ not .com
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trying to access my ripple wallet on: May 16, 2017, 04:38:39 PM
Oh yes, def .net sorry about that.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading site with good Ripple support? on: May 16, 2017, 02:31:01 PM
Shapeshift.io has a lot of different currencies to trade in and out of without registration. The volume is a bit low, so if you need to convert a lot, you may want to skip it.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trading site with good Ripple support? on: May 16, 2017, 01:46:10 PM
Gatehub.com and ShapeShift.io to trade
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trying to access my ripple wallet on: May 14, 2017, 02:12:53 PM
There was a deadline to migrate your wallet back in January 2016. Check your email, the link may or may not work, but it can't hurt to try.

Gatehub.com is where they are now, so you may want to try reaching out to their support.

Good luck!!
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If YOU were Satoshi, what would you do now? on: April 10, 2017, 12:08:25 PM
Absolutely nothing at all.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So what if Nigeria seriously starts getting involved in the crypto? on: March 29, 2017, 11:47:07 PM
If you are stupid and greedy enough to fall for that, then you deserve it.
