21  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto should be richer than Bill Gates. on: March 29, 2017, 12:05:31 PM
Eventually, and if Satoshi Nakamoto is an individual, he could potentially be richer than very many people.

But an important thing in the way bitcoin fundamentally works is that the number of coins that can be generated is limited.

22  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 1950 PowerEgde Dell Server Evaluation. on: April 15, 2015, 05:57:53 PM
It's a bit hard if you don't have the exact specs. Check eBay for some ideas.

Here is a link to a search that I would use: ebay link

Hope this helps.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What hashrate should I be getting with a 7950? on: March 15, 2014, 02:55:35 PM
It really depends on the type of 7950 since they aren't all alike. I've run 7950s anywhere from the mid 500s to the mid 700s depending on the brand / model of card and the cgminer configuration.

Check this link for more info on various configurations.
24  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: [ANN] Bitrocket custom 19" Aluminum Mining Chassis ** Rack Mountable ** on: March 15, 2014, 02:46:56 PM
I like the design.

What are some of the card / temperatures that you have seen running various configurations with this chassis?

I'm interested as well ... are you going to impose a minimum order?
28  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] www.litecoinasicmining.com on: December 10, 2013, 06:55:15 PM
Can you prove that you actually own this domain first instead of providing the info after the auction?
29  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Any thoughts on BFL's pay per GH cloud mining? on: December 07, 2013, 02:50:07 PM
I would only buy from BFL if I'm going to sell the pre-order item on ebay then buy and hold BTC. By the time they deliver, the difficulty rating is way too high. I don't have any experience with their cloud hashing service, but since its a pre-order, I'll pass.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic, China is NOT banning bitcoin on: December 07, 2013, 02:35:11 PM
Also the German government has accepted bitcoin as legal currency recently.
merv77

It was recognized as private money not legal tender/currency, but its still good news.
31  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] www.litecoinasicmining.com on: November 27, 2013, 03:19:34 AM
I'll start bidding at 0.01 if you can verify ownership of the domain ... custom mx record or something.

Lightlord - The site is really nice. Accidentally posted the following into the wrong thread, but all of the games are pretty solid, and respond pretty fast. Deposits and withdrawals were smooth as well. Thanks, also, no need to send the tokens.
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: [FREE 0.01 BTC] CoinsVictory.com - Play 10 games for free | Last 24 accounts ! on: June 28, 2013, 10:32:01 PM

35  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Anyone ever use Bitmit? on: June 28, 2013, 05:12:58 PM
I've used them to both buy and sell items. Its pretty solid, although the user interface could use some polishing though.

Yeah ... it's worse when you knew about them but dismissed them because it was just "internet monopoly money".

I'm assuming 796 is referring to 796's service offered at 796.com ... but you know what they say about those that assume Smiley

That they put a u in between assme?
Sounds close enough.
