1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upfiring (UFR) has 100x potential. Their product is amazing and the mc is low on: January 09, 2021, 08:04:19 PM
The strange thing is, it took three years to develop the app. Projects in the cryptocurrency industry usually create such applications within a few months. It is also strange that so far they have not managed to list on centralized exchange. It looks a bit risky, because either developers are lazy or they don't know how to work on this market.

It's a complicated dapp. The developers are really good, try out the dapp for yourself, it works extremely well.

Whoah calm your horses there. They could be working on it in their spare time,if anything it shows they are commited and havent given up the product in 3 years which is rare for such small projects.

The question Id ask is is the filesharing anonymous? Because you know torrents usually show your IP.

Also is there an ISSUE with the current high costs of the ETH network? A transaction can cost $20. Or does the dApp only need to make transactions when you transfer funds in/out?!

Ok sorry, I actually used too harsh words ..
However, 3 years in the cryptocurrency market is a huge piece of time.
For example what you're asking about, the network fee, could be a problem now. I hope that's not the case.

They are implementing Matic, a layer 2 solution, to deal with the high fees.

Upfiring went 100x in 2017 and that was when BTC was 1/2 the price, and they didn't even have a working product yet.

I don't even need to shill you on this because you can try the dapp out for yourself (see their website). It's amazing. They've created the first P2P file-sharing network on Ethereum- like BitTorrent, but seeders get rewarded with crypto. They just released their product this year and are undergoing a rebrand right now to try to make the project THE dapp for file-sharing on ETH.

Recently the price has doubled but it's still not too high yet: https://info.uniswap.org/pair/0x440349579065299f3458e4f101d2fc410517997d

Highly recommending getting in this while the price is so low, this will explode in alt season.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upfiring will be the best dapp of 2019 on: January 06, 2019, 06:26:04 PM
I can confirm the dapp is working well. Sleek design, has a lot of potential.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upfiring will be the best dapp of 2019 on: January 06, 2019, 06:24:17 PM
I'm a big torrent user, have been for so long now I'm actually still surprised that there hasn't been something better than torrenting or seeding to replace the way we download stuff.

But OK, if it's similar to Bittorrent token, why would I use it? Why switch over to something I have to have a Discord account for or a forum account for? Even for Bittorrent, you don't need to use their client to earn it, from what I'm reading.
This is interesting indeed but you have a point if it is the same as bitTorent utility token its not neccessary to shift to another, unless it is much better or have cool features but I could be an alternative. Looks like i've been left out I don't have an idea bittorent is running an ico this month.

BTT and Upfiring will be different projects altogether. They're doing similar things in different ways.

Just tried out the dapp from the Github. The dapp works really well and you don't need to own the token to use it. Very encouraging. This definitely has big potential.

I've been hearing a lot about this lately especially with all the bittorrent token buzz. It's certainly a great use case for crypto. Low market cap too.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The fact that B-EX.IO is being scammed, please all exchanges be wary of such fra on: August 19, 2018, 06:33:31 AM
I'm involved with the vTorrent (VTR) project and know many of our members have been using b-ex to trade.

I'll give b-ex.io a chance to respond here, but unless this exchange proves it will actually process user withdrawals, I'm going to be warning everyone who is trading VTR there to move their VTR off the exchange and look for somewhere else to trade VTR. The way they have treated this user's case so far makes me fearful to ever put any coins on there.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The fact that B-EX.IO is being scammed, please all exchanges be wary of such fra on: August 13, 2018, 08:57:33 PM
You need to process this user's withdrawal and pay the customer their UFR back.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The fact that B-EX.IO is being scammed, please all exchanges be wary of such fra on: August 12, 2018, 05:24:36 AM
So let me get this straight. This author of that reddit post complained that you, the B-EX.IO exchange, incorrectly processed his first withdrawal, and your response to that was to refuse to process his second withdrawal??? That is not ok to do.

Maybe the author would apologize publicly if you withdraw his money to him, but why would he apologize if you are still holding his money? That's not how apologies work. Like every other poster here said you cannot make users do something by holding their own funds over their head. You are not "bowing to him" by withdrawing his money, you are completing your obligation as a legitimate business and you need to do it or nobody will trust you.

I don't know about Grid +. There are many like it and the market cap is huge.

This list is solid though.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot ICOs of late-October/November on: October 23, 2017, 02:15:54 PM
Good list but I will add Confideal

I've heard this ICO mentioned before. What is it?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot ICOs of October with low market caps on: October 14, 2017, 03:27:31 PM
15th october will be Pally ICO - small max cap (around $ 4 500 000),  beta-product, advisors from hsbc.

Is there a whitelist?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FILE-SHARING ICO - Upfiring on: October 10, 2017, 04:41:26 PM
Actually we need much more project relate with HDD

Agreed. What others are there?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FILE-SHARING ICO - Upfiring on: October 10, 2017, 01:34:40 PM
I think I loved this one more than Sia. But we should ask the question "are they going to keep their contact with huge businesses?" It is more important than ideals now in cryptocurrencies.

This is definitely better than Sia. Sia is shit imo, it's just not practical if you've ever tried to use it.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small projects that have room for potential realistic 10x-50x growth on: October 09, 2017, 03:39:11 AM
FLIK only has a 4million marketcap after their coin burn on October 22nd with an extremely reputable team it's really hard for it not to 10x

Ooh I do like this project and will probably grab some. Only thing is how ambitious the goals are...could be tough for them to really break into the media market and get users.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Small projects that have room for potential realistic 10x-50x growth on: October 08, 2017, 10:56:31 PM
Look at JETCOIN

insanely low market cap, and great project. (Sub $1M)
They already are big in the industry and partnered with COSS

(Check my signsture for details, I really like this coin)

Do you work for the team?

I did the French translation.
I love this coin and what they will do with it.
It’s the very beginning. Nothing happened yet bc they are swapping it now.
I snatch every JET coin i can on exchanges.

Idk. The website needs work...not sure if I see this being more than a pump and dump coin at best, and it's not really a new project or anything. No hate towards the project though, I could be wrong.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot ICOs of October with low market caps on: October 08, 2017, 10:50:35 PM
check out the project Hedge token. ICo going on till 14/10 .

Nice pick, i do like the project alot and its ICO is underperforming currently which makes it a good entry point for investor, I read they have not raise up to $1.5 million ye

What have they raised so far?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot ICOs of October with low market caps on: October 08, 2017, 08:59:17 PM
DeckSwap

Highly recommend looking into this project. It also has a low market cap initially.

Its a decentralized card game based currency that will allow gamers to buy and sell items via the blockchain. Incredibly sound team/whitepaper and large potential for growth as the initial market valuation is ghastly low in comparison to the projects potential.

Theres also a free airdrop of 5 million tokens going on

Here's a link to the site: https://deckswap.com/s/uZmD

Isn't this just like Enjin?

Great list of tokens, I completely agree with the author. But I also have added Brickblock.

How will this be done legally though? Stock trading through blockchain is one of the things the SEC explicitly said they won't permit.
