Most commentary and even technical analysis is bullshit. I'd rather have a glass dildo shatter in my arsehole than have to listen to anything Michael Owen has to say. He's one of the most dullest men on the planet.

Ha fair enough. I do enjoy that 'noise' though, specially if it's in a good part of the stadium. Owen really isn't pretty though, was always a choir boy and while Carragher's possibly my all-time favourite Red, I can't really bear listening to him. The banter on Sky sometimes though, I enjoy every now and then. Roy Keane's an idiot half the time and then brilliant another half (nothing to do with the football action of course).

It's probably going to keep falling as well, especially if Celsius goes under which I think is very possible. If they manage to come out of this unscathed I've be very surprised. Lots of people are getting spooked by all these recent events and cashing out into fiat which is obviously having a massive knock on effect and is probably going to get a lot worse before it gets better. The fee will be between £25-£50 regardless though. I messaged jeremypwr about getting confirmation on the sponsorship and free bets so when I hear back I'll get the sign-up thread up and running.

Yeah. It's incredible to read how companies like 3AC are staring down total liquidation when they were as big as it gets. Just goes to show anyone can be successful in a bull market. The list of names of companies going bust is only going to lengthen. There's just this HK firm valued at $3B last month, and just finished raising 80 mill weeks ago, now going bust because BTC dropped 35%? I understand leverage but if they're facing all kinds of spiralling nonsense now makes me wonder just how much gambling these companies really do.

Thanks for taking care of this (and to jeremypwr and Sportsbet, of course).

Think we could tag on a request for Champions League? Qualification starts next week, if you can believe it (qualifying of course, pool group starts September but that's actually little less than 3 months away).

^Hopes fading for Osaka, but I already stopped looking at her as an option for a while now, ever since the tears came. Feel bad, but yeah, better she just get back regulated before picking up a racquet again for competition.

^^ Kyrgios yeah. I don't know, I keep getting fooled by people, Tsitsi fooled me most recently, now I have no particular favourite darkhorse. Speaking of... just had a bit on enjoyment on ATP, thought Medvedev had a small scare, when he lost the advantage at 3 games each in first set... but after he got the tiebreaker, the outcome was a given.

@CLS63 Did Montoya not win but finish those races though? LeClerc I think just really really really unlucky with the engine crap. That surely has to change, but I don't think in time for next race.

I realized that made a mistake about the statistics I shared recently. I'm sorry for that. The true version of it is that Leclerc are going to share the same record if he doesn't win this race after winning the pole position. Montoya wasn't able to complete most of his races that he started from the pole position. In fact we can say that he shares the same fate with Leclerc.

Lauda, what a blast from the past -- 3 decades before someone even came close to that, now would be interesting also to dig up what happened to Lauda (if he actually even finished or maybe got to podium).

Doesn't look like he'll get pole though, agree with swogerino -- already second in practice and then his grid penalty. Don't see him climbing up so far. Sainz might actually have a better chance at pole, but I'm locking in my pick for the Dutchman.
4085  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: June 18, 2022, 12:30:16 PM
What he said is true. They have the assets to add more to their leveraged position if bitcoin dumps further, however, assuming that the asset is also bitcoin or stocks of Microstrategy would this really be the best decision as an investor? Everyone else is beginning to deleverage and Saylor will add more leverage? This is head shaking.

Well if he didn't margin call today, I'd say he'd be bullshitting though. But yeah, supposedly the balance sheet was mostly BTC already so he's going to be puffing heavy at his board to convince them to further shore up the bet with even more Bitcoin. It was a risky gamble already and while I'm firmly a Bitcoin hold kind of guy, I'm really not sure it's wise to chase with even more Bitcoin...

We've had so many idiots associated with crypto; Mcafee, Musk, Garza, Da Kown, it's good to have a normal person, a business person, being associated with crypto right?

Not sure I'd classify Saylor as normal... but aren't all us forum folks a collective representative of regular people? I've been doing so many Bitcoin-related small businesses/organisations, all Bitcoin-run and salaried. Granted, mostly have failed (commercially haha) but I'm still a freelancer earning in Bitcoin, and still enjoy trying out and self-funding new projects, again exclusively with Bitcoin.
4086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: June 18, 2022, 11:18:45 AM
Yikes Ferrari man. I did say it'll be too soon to fix their engine issues for this race, but seems they found a way to make it even worse (and bad decision from LeClerc anyway).

Going to bite the bullet today and just strike Ferrari out from the podium actually. I know bad luck doesn't strike three times in the same place (it already did two though).
4087  Economy / Speculation / Re: What goes up must come down on: June 18, 2022, 10:42:17 AM
Well, it's happening guys. Didn't think we'd need to wait til Monday, but didn't think it'd also happen so early on Saturday, way to ruin our weekends huh Wink

Bitcoin now below the 2017 ATH is official. First time in history it's ever happened. Ethereum now below $1000 -- well below 2017 ATH.

We're going to get a lot of hurt, stay safe. What goes up must come down, we knew this was coming. Hold steadfast!
What I wanna do now? Is close my Eyes , stop looking at market stats, will use My other Mobile so i will prevent my self from checking my wallet (about how much is the value in dollar lol) and talk to my wife if I can use some of Her savings to add in our crypto holding, I will just take the advantage of the situation than feeling sorry and hurting.
though there are several thread i come across recently talking about Bitcoin falling down to 15k and below , i try preventing myself from believing lol.

Ha! I've done the closing eyes bit a long time ago. I mean, can't help but notice price whatever I do, since everything I do related to work is really just tied to this market. Couldn't avoid knowing the price even if I tried.

Just keep DCA as usual, and you'll be fine. 1 Bitcoin = 1 Bitcoin. And, unlike fiat, we know from history and from fundamentals that this is oversold, and when normalcy returns, we'll see healthier numbers.
4088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: June 18, 2022, 09:33:51 AM
@tokes $10 may not be a lot of money but right now it's > 1 mbtc haha.

They must have lost the rights. They had it a year or two ago but I've been with the Spanish one for the last season. Commentary isn't a deal breaker for me. I usually just listen to music instead. You could probably just find a radio station that is covering it I suppose.

It appears so. Commentary never really used to be a dealbreaker for me either, I guess the particular local language I hear just sounds so foreign plus I do understand some of it and it seems to be poor quality anyway, they're really just mumbling through and using the same repeat phrases over and over. It goes something like this every 5 minutes:

jongen, jongen, jongen, ay yay yay yay yay to mean practically anything like "boy, boy, boy, oh man what a miss, oh that was bad, oh bad pass"

Radio + broadcast also works bad for me with roughly 5 seconds delay haha.

The pools have grown with every season so far so I'm hoping we can keep the tradition going. Hoping for at least 50 users this season.

It's been one of the real subforum successes to my eyes too. Active and an actual lot of pretty decent bastard expert commentary.

Oh and I guess 3mbtc isn't a bad fee considering we're now sub-20k BTC (ouch).
4089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 18, 2022, 08:25:05 AM
How’s everybody holding up?

Just remember 1BTC = 1BTC. Only an idiot panic sells now, bear markets are opportunities to sow seeds that will grow into life changing profit trees. Now is the time to buy & do nothing. Buy as much as you can afford all the way down. This is what we do, this is how we become rich.

I don’t want to see any bitches panic selling.

Battered, bruised, but holding up. I might have mentioned I had to liquidate a significant portion late 2020 for some domestic emergency, around this exact price we are at right now, and felt that I missed out. So the good news (haha) is I'm kinda back where I started, a little bit less BTC now than I had then, so I guess I got a reboot, and possibly accumulating even more if it gets worse (and it does look like that).

Seems the ATH support being broken is leading to more sell offs... so there are I'm sure guys like me, getting a "second chance". DCA all the way, brother.

4091  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Fall Below The Previous 20k ATH possible? on: June 18, 2022, 07:20:48 AM
^Wait, so you're waiting for 8k BTC to go and buy 1? I do agree (and the rest of internet probably would want to agree to be seen as realistic) we've not seen the bottom yet but 8k is an extreme, that if happens, shouldn't be longer than a flash. Unless you've got a limit order waiting somewhere... but would be real shitty to get close to 8k on a bottom before the next rally in 2 years starts and you're left waiting as we enter the next 1/2 year uptrend.

@buwaytress. Agreed. I speculate that each of their company's' performance during the bear market, a coming economic crisis, Ukraine invasion and there is the risk of China's invasion of Taiwan might not be very good. There is also China's defense ministry. He has already warned that America and their allies should avoid the Taiwan Strait or there will be war.

I predict Saylor liquidation fud to begin if bitcoin dumps under $20k and cause more panic.

Except that now he seems to have backtracked somewhat and said that the danger is really not as significant as -- think 3 days ago, I saw the full transcript on phone and he said a lot of things that didn't seem to add up

Takeaways: plenty of assets left to collateralise, margin call wouldn't happen below 21k, and he's leveraged 1.04, so would need 95% drop of purchase price (so that's $2000) to get in trouble.

But I don't know, was a rough interview and vague as hell.

Unfortunately yes, the "plan" is that there will be a small price increase, for maybe 1-2 weeks, maybe more, but then we will go down, really seriously. Hard to say if it will be as deep as during corona crisis, but for sure it will be significant.
Anyway, for end on month price betting I think it is still 50/50, so I place my bets for both 15-20 and 20-25 ranges.

If that is the case as many expect here then it would be a good idea for people who hold FUN token,to continue to buy further if they have the possibility or to buy a couple of FUN daily from winnings from Premium Membership and wait for that massive crash of price that would entitle us to win quite a lot of Satoshis,in the recovery we can buy back FUN at a much lower price then we will sell.I only hope this prediction come true but I think we will see what everyone do not expect,a huge price recovery.

If it's any comfort, for the first time in a really long time, most of the "expert analyses" I get shoved into my face by Google are actually saying the crash hasn't arrived. It'll get worse, and much worse and much faster than anyone expects.

Now when that happens, I like it, because we all got here today (and every other crash) usually when everyone's laying it on thick about how much Bitcoin will be and which ATH it'll break.

So now that the majority's proper heartbroken, maybe we get an unexpected rally and safety zone.

(Ha, we can dream)

J league at 4-3-free! https://sportsbet.io/sports/4-3-free

Osaka generally the favourite but I avoid them and Kashima Antlers unless they're the underdog (go figure they only perform when they're expected to lose).

This is exactly what I saw when I checked right before I mentioned it on the thread.
I can see the category but when I clicked on the sport MLB under specials it was blank.
Yet they would of appeared closer to when the matches started but I wasn't available to check two-three hours before the MLB games began today.
From the link I posted above of WhatsHot they list the times of when those specific promotions during the course of the day begins.
So they should be available to see by then. You just needed to click on the day of the week to see today and then the following days there after to view them all.
I made a fair share off the boosts for those table games listed. An extra 15% on top of our winnings isn't half bad.
Wouldn't you agree? Cheesy

Oh I love those Super Boosts. Take them every damned time!

But I think we're still talking about different things haha. The "What's Hot" list doesn't contain the ad hoc sports daily specials, so as you can see, there are no NBA or MLB or Brasilian league specials listed on those dates, because those appear ad hoc, for some hours, randomly. The evolution of Specials as I recall:
- Started out as a Steve Multi Magic, price boosted accas.
- Changed later to price boosted accas and/or betbuilder types. Announced in a ClubTalk specials channel, active only for 1/2 hours.
- Then was made available for about 8 hours, once in the (server time) morning, and then a fresh batch in the afternoon.
- Now back to random posting, only available for a few hours.

If they aren't available, the categories aren't even there and you get a message saying Error Unavailable.

What's Hot shows price boosts and events. I'm talking about Boosted acca or betbuilder type specials like "Warriors to win and Curry to score over 30 points" or "Botafago to win and Under 2.5 goals".
4096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: June 17, 2022, 08:51:46 AM
I'm happy with the 3 mbtc pool fee, and if there are new people wanting to join and they feel they're priced out because of that, I guess we could ask but I seem to recall the fee not really being an issue when we asked people before (and that was when BTC was a bit more than it is today).

@tokes sure. I'll take you on. You'll have to remind me if I forget though.

I use the Spanish Dazn but it doesn't have English commentary. The Canadian one does and I used that before but I kept running into proxy issues so I went with the Spanish one once my subscription ran out. It might be ok now though or may just depend on the proxy you use. Try find someone in Canada and see if you can get them to create you an account. You can't sign up for it with proxy but once the account is created it's using a proxy is usually fine. You can pay pay as you go monthly and they even used to do one month free trial so you can give it a go and if it doesn't work just cancel it after a month. I have both the German and Spanish Dazns and they're both well worth the money. I split them with a friend as well as two people can watch at once. Between them both I have all the boxing, all UFC fights and pretty much all the biggest football leagues inn Europe.

Thanks! Yeah I'd happily pay for Dazn, just the one locally available doesn't have ANY football, just pure boxing and Women's Champions League (which actually is free to watch on their own youtube anyway). So it looks like I'll have to look for someone in Canada, might need to tap a few shoulders for that if can't do it on my own (Amazon UK e.g. needs a UK card, which I happen to have from 2016 days but that's now expired and can't be renewed per Brexit haha).

Anyone from forum pool willing to split or offer me a way for EPL/UCL games? (English please) I'm actually even happy to pay for the full thing if I can watch it on my TV or even laptop.

Fulham, Nottingham and Bournmouth are new members, Crystal Palace vs Arsenal is first match
yoyo team spotted. You know the drill, Fulham to get relegated @ whatever odds you find is free money  Grin and opening day match goes to Arsenal eh, don't think the fans are happy about this, just saw some stats and the Gunners have a woeful record against Palace since the 18/19 season: 1W 5D 2L
Like your Fulham tip, they are as you say, yoyo team. Same goes for their star striker Mitrović. He scores shitload of goals in lower devision, they get promoted, everbody takes him in their fantasy teams and then he can't do anything when playing in the big boys league.

Arsenal game has blunder written all over it. Perfect opportunity to place something on CP.

I made a good start last season betting against Arsenal and City in opener, they're both a bit silly when season starts, experimental and very bad at player conditioning.

Fulham, man I really didn't want them back in EPL. Sadly, Liverpool outright not as good as last season (9/1)... now it's 32/10, so no money tied up for me there.

4097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏁🏎️ Sportsbet.io🏁 FORMULA 1 2022 Season🏁🏎️Prediction Pool Discussion Thread on: June 17, 2022, 07:38:46 AM
Didn't realise Hamilton had an injury from the last race, strange the news didn't talk about it while I was reading, seems pretty significant if Ricciardo is to be believed, though others say he exaggerated it. I couldn't say either way but that posture was never going to be good for anyone long term.

@CLS63 Did Montoya not win but finish those races though? LeClerc I think just really really really unlucky with the engine crap. That surely has to change, but I don't think in time for next race.

The PL fixtures were released today so not long until the big boys are back in action -
https://www.premierleague.com/news/2646764

Still plenty of football going on to whet your gambling appetite. Some selections in Brazilian Serie A & Argentina Primera Division.

Good luck!

Happy New Schedule Release day everyone! Strange I'm feeling much better seeing this than seeing the World Cup roster, but perhaps more a desire to make up for last season's final day disappointment.

I may have to face up to losing Mane, but I trust in Klopp and that he always does his best to keep what we need, and let go of what we need to let go. Hope it ends up being a good deal at any rate, and that he leaves in good spirits and with no bad blood... and he finds a way to not end up like Gini (voted worst flop of Ligue 1 ouch), Coutinho, Can...
4099  Other / Archival / Re: Is the denouement close? on: June 16, 2022, 05:06:11 PM
Thanks for the chart, I knew without seeing it had to be a record inflow, but now I see there are two very closely bunched peaks at 30k and 20k, and both weren't at the panic levels of March 2020... which suggests either there just wasn't enough weak hands left now as we test 2017 ATH as support, OR that actual denouement is yet to come.

Think the "problem" is that we're still just about half of Bitcoin holders "underwater". Crazy to think, but half are still in profit having bought majority of coins before the last rally.

So in theory, a lot more people ready to bear a lot more pain than at all previous capitulations.

^ I only see the proxy error notices. My preferred image hosting site seems to be doing it on and off. Posting as below.
