Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Sounds like a loving Jesus

He's talking about choosing to follow His teachings. We need to leave the earthly cares behind, and follow Him with all of our heart and care about what He wants us to do. It's for a situation like where you have to take the mark of the beast or die, your family is telling you to take it and taking it themselves. He wouldn't want you to do it just for the love of your family, versus following what the Holy Spirit is saying and staying away from it.

So why do you have to hate your family to follow him?
What kind of ego do this asshole have. I have to hate my family to get on his good side?

You're missing the point, which I get, but I don't know how to explain it any better. We are to love everyone as ourselves and to follow Jesus and take up our cross to follow Him. This means leaving all earthly things which includes family at times.

He didn't say " at times". he said you have to hate them to follow him

The bible says pretty much the same.

Leviticus 11:7-8
And the pig, because it parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you.

Guess the difference between christians and the Muslims when it comes to the pig is that Muslims takes their book serious

There are tons of people with high IQs that believe in some sort of God.

Right, plenty of people; including... Einstein!

Quote from: A. Einstein
every one who is seriously engaged in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that the laws of nature manifest the existence of a spirit vastly superior to that of men, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble.

Ah the religious quote mining.
here is the whole quote

“Everyone who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe – a spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble. In this way the pursuit of science leads to a religious feeling of a special sort, which is indeed quite different from the religiosity of someone more naive.”

he also said:

“It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it.”

Genesis 1:1,2:
Quote
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

There is the answer to time and space, right in the first 2 verses of the Bible. If you don't understand how it is saying time and space, go back to school. Or at least read on in Genesis for some hints.

Smiley

Man, there is no word Time neither Space in this verse of the Genesis, neither in all Genesis there is a verse that says that God invented Time and/or Space.

If you think that verse says that God invented Time and/or Space is your invention. Is not write in there neither it has something to do with me going "back to school".

I'm sorry you don't understand simple English: language is a powerful tool for mutual understanding.

It I were a priest I will prey for you for more understanding, cause I'm an engineer I can only say to you that you need to read more carefully the above verse of the Genesis you mentioned and the whole book of Genesis and I guarantee you, you won't find a verse that says: God created Time and Space.

There is no such statement ("God created Time and Space") in the whole Bible.

Thank You for the discussion.

Best Regards.

And here, all this time, I thought I was speaking with someone who had the ability to think.

Oh well. Back to the examinations of life.

Sounds like you are judging him. Hell next stop?

There is no difference. Red and blue have the same owners. If you want change wote 3rd party or not at all. I know Americans get confused if they get more than the 2 false choices they have, but that's the only way to get something else than the fascist puppies that rules you

My better half is vegan. I am not. I don't think I would have any problems going vegan since a lot of it is really good food, but I like meat too and don't have any plans to stop eating it

As long as the blacklist crap is there I wont support it. Yes i know it an be bypassed, bla bla bla....
The reason that I am sceptic to it is that they had the nerve to put it in there in the first place.
it dosn't really matter if it was put in to protect against ddos or whatever. Blacklisting for whatever reason does not belong in the code
