I researched this when I saw them in Ebay, The guy was trying to sell them for $750, then $500, etc...I'm sure if you go into forums and look hard enough, you'll find the truth too. Seriously...WHY else would they have been forced to cut out the Logo??? Ask yourself that question. I am just passing on what I know about these cards, others will find what I did, you just have to look hard enough.And, I'm sorry to have to be the one to make this information available. The truth is out there!!! I am NOT trying to hurt anyone here either, just adding to the discussion, which is what a "Forum" is all about. Do what you wish with the information, and Good Luck.  |

What you're NOT being told: The cards with the holes punched in them are NOT official cards. Comic Con did not allow them license and they were forced to "punch" the cards to remove the Comic Con logo. There was someone selling these shit cards in ebay awhile back and asking a fortune for them, knowing they're invalidated. Please do the research on these BEFORE you bid. Know what you're getting, which is unsanctioned and mutalated cards.

I love the "splatter technique", always have, but what's with the repeating circles? I see that you use them in multi-works, are they indicative of something special for you? I would be interested in getting a small canvas done by you as well. |

Topps or any other BIG name card company would use the real image of people, and include autographs and variants. I look for those to happen. AND I also expect that the ones done by Topps will be infinitely more valuable than those cards. Caricatures won't be as valuable, because they aren't as nice. Simple. Sometimes being the first doesn't translate into being the MOST sought after. They're the first, and they're nice....but it's the BIG names that get the glory and the recognition. Time will tell.

I kinda think the cards #83 & #84 are the set of their own, you know, because they're neighbors, and both signify CHANGE.
That being said, where is card #84 Huh?
The coral reefs dying at an alraming rate, and turning white, it is definitely a national event of historical importance/impact.

You came right here into the forum and proclaimed that it was part of the set. Even stated that you were contacting Topps in reference to this, because you felt so strongly about it. (Btw, there was no "argument", I merely stated some facts in the 2 emails that I sent you about this) So, WHY then, would you make wrong/incomplete sets AND amusingly enough, put you names on them?
