This isn't as detailed a response as Stonehedge will give, but here's a few problems with PoS.. Well, this project impressed me too.. I wasn't aware of crowncoin before but few days ago I saw this in someone's signature. and then I started reading about it. I see the market, exchange, and the market cap value.. and now I can say this is a very promising Altcoin and a good choice for traders.
the most perfect thing is most coin supply are in th developers hand, so traders can't dump this coin in big amount.
it makes it an Ideal Coin for trading.

However, we have yet to see you state any detailed arguments against POS. We know one of them -- susceptibility to 51% attacks. What are some other issues that you see with POS?
Separately, won't coins that are POW just be able to switch their consensus protocol if it becomes a problem?

Effective coin supply then, can be imagined to be about half of the total when including all of the coins locked in collateral.

I think we currently have a liquidity problem. Nobody wants to sell their coins. I'm doing what I can by market selling my throne payments as they come in. Maybe the miners will be selling soon too.
If anything, it's a sure sign that crw is underpriced.
I agree CRW is way underpriced. This idea is worth much more than 200k. As community grows - My short term - 3 months price target - is 1 mil USD. Lets see The Hive agrees that this is likely a good investment. However, there currently isn't much of an "idea". Our people, along with other investors, can only guess as to what is planned. what is thrones ? how they work? is this like interests system? or staking POS?
Thrones are supernodes wich support the Crown network. They have several uses: 1. They allow you to make money when users set them up (40pct of all Crown mining goes to Throne operators, the remaining 60pct goes to typical crypto miners) 2. They make the Crown network more decentralized and therefore secure 3. They will be also used as a backbone platform to build several applications on the Crown network 4. You dont need a supercomputer to mine CRW - with Thrones you do it with cloud VPS with a minimum cost - therefore anybody can set them up - the system is therefore more democratic 5. You need a 10k CRW as collateral to set up one Throne (this way CRW is kept away from the market and capitalization will grow) 6. Anyone who has at minimum 10,000 crown coins can set up a throne. Though the process can be a bit difficult. So I would not say it is only for big holders or developers, as it is approximately a $200 initial investment to get started with the ability to recoup 70-80% of the initial investment within one year. ROI in less than one year IF the price doesn't increase. I think it is likely that the price of CRW will increase over the next year  It's clear the price will either way go up, simply because the team is active and investors look at this things. Indeed. We are quite excited. We actually used two ways but didn't make an attempt with a cleared crowncoin.conf file. The first was with the throne=1 and throneprivkey= still in the crowncoin.conf. The second was without either of those in the crowncoin.conf. Didn't seem to make a difference either way. We will be setting up as many as we can before they get too expensive. ~ The Hive ~ It seems like lots of small amounts of CRW are being sold to market, get those buy orders in  We just picked up one more.
