Really do not understand the XC market, if volume is low but someone just payed 0.001725 for 1K coins why drop 1K into buy orders around 0.00152 just some hours later with zero news posts or trading  just plain stupid if you ask me. Understand some need to cash out but people are not willing to split it up and wait a little? This happens so many times now the story about one party suppressing the price starts to get unbelievable. Surely by now they got there stack build up or are done with there xc to dump. See zero evidence in the chain to support this. When I'm back plan to spend some time to analyze coin movement on a timeline some more, this is driving me crazy A similar movement is also taking place in Bitcoin's market when you look at it. I mean, if it can happen in the daddy of all cryptos, surely XC is a small kid to take care of. yeah but bitcoin had a dramatic rise in price some time ago. i don't remeber any similiar price spike in xc in the last few months... Bitcoin went through months and months of stagnation in it's early days before the dramatic rise. Do you know how long 1 Bitcoin was $0,20? I can't find anything about that. It was worthless for quite a bit, people were handing out in the thousands on this forum. |

Another long winded bullshit reply trying to defend the lies that are leaking out slowly. Lets not worry about this anymore...no one here is feeding into his post. We should all move on, we have some exciting developments to look forward to. I have penis envy and like to lie and fud my arse off for my investments. It seems you can not ask legit question in the QIBuck thread without being branded a troll - pathetic. Then what does Silver do ?? he comes in here and starts DRAMA. Hello XCurrency community, I have been religiously reading this thread since around page 100. I know you all quite well by now, I haven't registered or said anything till today because I am more of a reader than a typer . I have realized that for XCurrency to grow and thrive it needs everyone hiding in the cracks and crevices to come out, socialize, put our heads together, and contribute to the community so that we may tower over everything in our path!
I am looking forward to the future of XCurrency and this community!

Ok interesting.
So here's another tech questions:
If nodes are on a mix slow/unreliable internet connections and fast/reliable internet --
1) Will this tech be able to weed out the slow connections and bypass them for a more reliable connection
2) Will this tech somehow compensate for the slow connections?
I think it will take time to get all of this 100% right. For something this ambitious and revolutionary we should be happy to get a working proof of concept up and running and then slowly improve it over time until it's perfect. First to serve the content gets paid, so people with slow and unreliable connections can try to take part but probably won't make any money.
If first to serve is used the client probably needs to make several connections, to know which endpoints are available there need to be some discovery, to know if the request was served or not needs some sort of bookkeeping, (a transaction for every request served is just to many to scale I guess) .... all this is anything but easy to implement. But if Dan and his team can make it my fantasy go overboard with this tech, for instance who pays? The issuer or uploader of the data? I guess with the current qibuck add there team pays the Xnodes serving. but what if you reverse that? I started dreaming about paying by Download, sell some ebooks for instance. Downloader pays, XC goes to uploader who pays the xnode for serving his content. Can't wait for the documentation so i can limit my fantasy a little US connections are a lot slower than in most of europe. I currently have 127mb down and 12 up in the UK. Some countries within in the EU have nationwide 1Gb up and down for normal pricing. I only have 2mb down and 0,40mb up and that is on the good days, currently it is way slower. I live in The Netherlands btw. Hmm interesting, national average is 14 |

But ping  I have 7-20 (20 while uploading pictures and streaming content) and most connections I've tested have around the same. |
