I wouldn't go with Intel or AMD for my new computer, because i am tired of that "security" features they invent from year to year. Just take a look what Intel Management Engine or Platform Security Processor can do while your computer is powered off and get scared of how your system is backdoored.

In-app purchases will give you the desired revenue. It means you need to invent some addons to your app that people may buy to use, imagine, in order to upgrade to better functionality or something similar.
27  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: May 13, 2017, 04:28:35 PM
Actually, 70% of customers of our DC pay their bills with Bitcoin, it does really show the actual ask for that currency.
28  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: UANode - dedicated servers and VPS on: May 13, 2017, 04:09:06 PM
Hello, our latest downtime was really unexpected due to some hardware failure on the upstream's DC (not ours), please accept our apologies. We have posted the information on Twitter.

The issue is network-related only, servers uptime is not affected.

We are now installing a reserve physical link with our upstream in order to prevent such situations in future.

Just don't use coinbase, trust me, there is good a reason many people here recommend to not use it.
31  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2016 Bitcoin Debit Card Reviews on: December 09, 2016, 01:16:31 PM
From personal experience, only cryptopay.me currently supports smooth unload and withdrawing money in Bitcoins.
Other providers make this process a headache.

Hello spectrocoin, are you planning to issue virtual cards in future?
33  Other / Off-topic / Re: Internal Live Non-Persistent Ubuntu System = Good for Public Use Computers on: December 09, 2016, 01:10:32 PM
just install your system in a USB pendrive or external HD

much simpler

It doesn't add any security. Once a virus infects a system on USB/HD drive, it's going to persist there and replicate.

Obviously, when you load a filesystem into the RAM, you deal with virtually created inodes that only reside within the RAM, not on any kind of physical storage. So rm -rf / will only mess the RAM-stored data.
Even if you don't use a toram option with your initrd, aufs permits to load a layer of writable tmpfs over a read-only root filesystem (the one you have your files on), that simulates a writing effect.

This topic is helpful, many may not know that and this is a good way to prevent distribution of infection even on personal systems with critical data.

We are using PostgreSQL for these tasks whose performance and capabilities are endless.
36  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Do you have any problems with your online wallet on: December 08, 2016, 06:34:58 PM
Blockchain.info is OK, despite the inconvenience they introduced recently with a new interface version and transition to HD wallet system.

Still far much better than Coinbasenonsense, where your cryptocurrency freedom is basically gone just because of US regulations (I specially don't care about these).

Anyway, consider using an offline wallet.
37  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info new interface/API functionality issue on: December 08, 2016, 06:24:39 PM
I've stopped using blockchain.info exactly due to lack of this option and other missing features that were available on the old wallet, such as exporting your private keys.

Not allowing us to export private keys means you don't own your funds using their wallet, while it was possible before.
Actually there are no ways to make a wallet backup, you can only backup a secret recovery phrase to restore access to web wallet which makes you lose all your money in case their project goes down.

I think many actual users must be aware of this:
When you have a backup of your private key, you can restore your money using other wallet software in case blockchain.info goes offline temporary or forever.
It's impossible in the current version of blockchain.info wallet!

It's more laptops and phones  Cheesy

Dell, for example, accepts Bitcoin, i've recently bought  a laptop directly from them using Bitcoins.
For phones, among other shops, there is http://www.shopandroid.com which ships internationally and accepts Bitcoin.

You can also use a web search engine to find more manufacturers like that who accept bitcoins.
It's really far more easier to do shopping with Bitcoins today than it was 3-4 years ago.
39  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android vs Window phones ....... on: December 08, 2016, 05:53:20 PM
You don't actually need to use any Google's private builds, because you have AOSP which is pure Open Source Android OS.
Also, there are Cyanogenmod, CopperheadOS and OmniROM
40  Other / Off-topic / Re: Android vs Window phones ....... on: December 08, 2016, 05:48:58 PM
Wow, you basically just comparing freedom and non-freedom. Windows Phone OS source code is not available so it doesn't make any sense to use this product, unless you don't care about your privacy.
You can modify and build an Android system the way you want, also you can inspect the source code of what you are using.
