341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: next alt coin to rocket on: June 02, 2019, 07:28:19 PM
In a dream maybe. No such thing as easy money. Even bitcoin took time to be at its current value though there are hyped coins out there which leap high for a short period of time but I doubt you can make 5x of your capital in a week or two.
342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: June 02, 2019, 06:42:35 PM
Lots of people experience this including myself, therefore when the market is not good we should buy coins when already listing in exchange. Isn't that a good idea?
Being listed in exchanges doesn’t guarantee you 100% profit, as OP said after listing in exchanges the  ICO price drops and I think it will always be like that because most holders are dumping their coins right after listing which is rightful to some because some ICO coin’s value drop dramatically or even die in the long run (not all, depending on the success or failure of the project behind).
343  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Percent allocation management. Profit sharing. on: June 02, 2019, 06:29:56 PM
There was a guy on Telegram offering this service last year but later disappear with people's fund, you don't want to lose your money investing into one stupid fund, just buy BTC and sit down, the market is moving North and you the risk of holding BTC is low or subscribe to a paid group that makes day trading calls and trade your self don't lose your money please
This is what I thought exactly when I read this thread. There will be no guarantee for the sharer’s money and besides you don’t know the person you are entrusting your money to and there is no legit site that you can refer to, it will be like, putting your money into someone else’s hand and bidding goodbye to it.
344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Static Currency - Five Years? on: June 02, 2019, 06:15:34 PM
Are you willing to invest USD10,000 or more in a currency which seems to be static at the moment and keep it for 5 years or longer?

You hope that, after 5 years or longer, the price of the currency will go very high.

Are you patient enough? Or could you sell the currency for other currencies when you see that the currency shows no progress after one or two years?
You can hardly see static or unchanging value in cryptocurrency, most of them are volatile and some just die. So if you see and keeping an eye on a particular cryptocurrency, you will be able to tell if there will be hope for it or none. Why wait uncertain for 5 years if you can profit from your money in 1-2 years with other currencies? You are the boss of your own money.
345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: June 02, 2019, 05:49:41 PM
This is a problem many people have. He suffered from this. The phantom billionaire. It seems to you that you could easily earn if... But it is better to focus on the present, just develop.

Well, regret will always be there, no matter if we deny or not, spoken or not you cannot take it away from the heart of anyone who lose. It is hypocrisy to deny but what matters is we don not linger on those mistakes and loses instead we should learn from them and they should make us even more determined. We should not stop just because of those mistakes.
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: June 02, 2019, 05:21:22 PM
Some altcoins specially ICO coins have short life span. Some of the holders are grabbing the opportunity of selling it as early as possible or at least the moment it is listed in exchanges specially if it is pumped to catch with the current. Once the fever cool down it will be 50/50 chances whether the price will recover or not.
347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are IEO's bad? on: June 02, 2019, 05:14:51 PM
Personally I don't see it as a bad idea but I am thinking it will be easier to scam people with IEO because many people can easily trust IEO these day than ICO.
Exchanges that are conducting IEO are already existing exchanges, some has been in the business for quite long, meaning most of them are already rooted and successful platforms unlike ICOs which mostly are just starting and developing projects so investors in my opinion are more secure in investing in IEO than in ICO which is unsure if the project behind the said ICO will really be successful.
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be too quick to judge ICOs on: May 31, 2019, 08:47:39 PM
Well, I cannot agree more, everything you’ve said is true. I’ve witnessed several projects like this. They been successful in their ICOs but then the project didn’t come out as planned so the future hope for the token value became dim too. Sad that some projects really do fail, I don’t know if it is because they’ve set too high expectations or unreachable goals or just lack support. Whatever but it is true.
349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i trust new platforms? on: May 31, 2019, 08:40:07 PM
It is indeed confusing where to put our money into when we look at the market lists of coins and specially if we do not know these coins but, there’s a lot of sources of information, better not to let go of our money on something we are not sure of. If you been in this forum for a long time you will know which one is being talked about most of the time. Just by staying here you will get a hint but you must study the history of your target coin how was it in the past and if there is a possibility to profit from it in the future.
350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop is more profitable than Social Media Bounty ? on: May 31, 2019, 08:29:59 PM
I think plus and minus for both. Before, I wanted to see for myself if airdrops really pay because I heard some complains they don’t, so what i did was fill out forms from different airdrops as much as i can and and perform the tasks to see which one will pay and which one will not. Not all paid but part paid me but, not all the coins I got did have value, not all of them all were profitable. The same with social medias, newbies join social media bounty because this is where they are qualified but not all the coins they get give profit to them.
351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happens if Bitcoin dies on: May 31, 2019, 08:21:30 PM
Cryptocurrency world will still continue even if bitcoin dies because even right now, aside from bitcoin there are thousands of other cryptocurrencies and still a lot more are coming out every time. If bitcoin indeed dies which I know will not (only my opinion) there will still be other cryptocurrencies that will replace, maybe will not be as strong, popular and big in value as bitcoin but there are numbers of leading altcoin right now in markets so maybe from the list of these will come the crypto which will be next in rank to bitcoin.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be safe on: May 30, 2019, 07:50:35 PM
Thanks for the heads up ,I hope people listen ,getting scammed won't do you any good other than making those you told of your bad news run away from crypto, digital currencies are here to fix issues with world poverty and investing in them is the only way to bring changes so thread carefully and avoid getting scam at all cost
Is it to fix issues of world poverty? I wish it could. But OP has a point, scammer will indeed have more appetite now that they are seeing a light dawning in the market. Advices like these should not get one discouraged and run away, it should serve as a reminder not only to newbies but to all that though there are those who are already experts in cryptocurrency but it doesn’t guarantee them that they can’t be victimized.
353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Skam or a way to make money? on: May 30, 2019, 07:39:08 PM
Many when they hear about cryptocurrency believe that this is a quick way to enrich. Others say that cryptocurrency is over and we must go. Most often, I hear a conversation about cryptocurrency from those people who did not even use it.
Now I know that cryptocurrency is growing much better than falling.

What are your thoughts on this?
Lol! Based on what I’ve observed, these people that are making a bad image out of crypto, they are the people who have not really dipped their hands into it. They’ve just heard rumors about it, heard someone that been victimized and they start to have a bad notion about it and start spreading this bad notions to people like them.
354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin usage and misaligned expectations on: May 30, 2019, 07:34:57 PM
I believe there are some people in the community who are in the standpoint that "Bitcoin isn't successful" unless they can use it for "almost-zero fee" coffee transactions. But is it truly a failure?
No, it isn’t. Which transaction has zero fee then and now by the way? You take money from ATM, is it free? You pay something with visa card, it is free of service? You wire money from one end to another, is it free? It isn’t a failure, people who know the real advantages of bitcoin will not be convinced it is a failure.
355  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: easy bite for scammers on: May 30, 2019, 07:16:49 PM
While most states will not register and verify the ICO team, as well as regulate the overall activities of the ICO, it will be very difficult to identify the identity of the ICO fraudsters and to effectively search and arrest them. In order to track and document criminal activity on the Internet in the whole world, coordination of the actions of law enforcement agencies within an international body such as Interpol is necessary. The efforts of individual states here will be ineffective.
You are right, states do not care though some do and only individuals like us are exerting effort in finding out the true identities of people behind projects we are interested in and even if we found out they are not real and are proven to be scammers, there is not much actions coming from the state to punish these perpetrators.
356  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: May 30, 2019, 07:10:34 PM
KYCs are not the problem here. The problem I see is where you are entrusting your information to.  Because their are certain ICOs that will only fish out your information as it has more value for them rather than the token they are creating. KYCs are a requirement of some countries' government as it is their way of regulating or being in touch with their citizens. What I would normally do before trusting my personal information to other entities such as ICOs or even exchanges I will research on them if they have a good background.
Its true, and even if you know for sure that the company you are trusting your personal information documents with have a good background, still you could not be sure that these informations will not slip out of their hands. You know, you don’t know the people processing your KYC even though you know the company. They can use it for their personal interest and you can just be shocked that one day someone  has used  your identity already for some illegal activities.
357  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Life boils down to four bottles. on: May 26, 2019, 04:53:21 PM

At some stage in your life, you just have to rely on bottles to take away your pains that's just the truth, not speaking directly about alcohol this time, but that's what most people use. The image above says it all, I don't have to interpret them one after the other. It's quite interesting watching yourself grow into the person you always wanted to be but again life always has a way of playing it's own trick.

Some people say the cause of the 4th bottle in life is sickness but I say a major contributor is a JOB {journey of borrowing). A close friend of mine is just 8 & the half months into his current job and I have already made used of the (4th) bottle twice already. I feel pity for him but again that's just life happening. Life is too short to live in regret that's why I encourage people to always watch themselves, which bottle are you on?.
Damn true. I have known some also that abused bottle 2 and 3 and brought them to bottle 4. At a very young age, instead of drinking water she depended on bottle 2 together with salty junk foods with it and it made her a friend of a dialyzer and lived for a short period of time with the 4th bottle and finally left this world.
358  Economy / Services / Re: I will find for you any lost or stolen phone ! on: May 26, 2019, 04:40:45 PM
Could you tell us how it works so people will know their not breaking any law

If he tells you he will not be earning from it anymore and everybody will be doing it. OP will be the tracker and the finder so the owner will not be breaking any law i supposed. But incase he finds its location how will the owner be able to take it back in a right way specially if the phone has passed through many hands already, I mean, stolen phones being sold.
359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 26, 2019, 04:17:31 PM
Good for you mate that you know your limitations in gambling. Me also engage in gambling before but most of the time i played with just my cousins or close friends sometimes. And the good thing is we only played inside each others houses and with only a little amount of money. We usually played just for fun while drinking and chatting.
Same here. We also used to do it for fun during rest days or vacation from school. We played playing cards or scrabbles and Upwords. Sometimes with coins and sometimes doing some household chores for the losers. This was only for time pass and bonding until I learned something else with real money outside with friends.
360  Other / Archival / Re: Do any of you feel guilty? on: May 26, 2019, 02:23:30 PM
It is like selling cigarette packs with statement written in there that says, “smoking is dangerous to your health”. So the same with it. They sell cigarettes for business and remind people it is dangerous to smoke but it is still up to them if they want to smoke and die or not. They advertise gambling, gamblers knowing the fact that excessive gambling is dangerous but still up to them if they want to or not. Cigar vendors sell because of profit and there is demand. Casinos operate for profit and also because it is being patronized by gamblers.
