301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Who's actually still selling this? It will be $5,000 - $8,000 in no time on: August 14, 2017, 03:21:13 PM
Why sell now, don't like money?  You will not feel too smart when you realize you could wait a few days and he $3,000 more for it.
302  Economy / Economics / I predict: 50 Trillion dollar market cap and BTC TV channels, within a year on: August 13, 2017, 09:06:02 PM
You will pick which one of the several Bitcoin TV channels to watch.  Everyone on this board now will be at least a millionaire.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting Altcoins - Airdrops etc. on: August 12, 2017, 02:01:10 PM
Although I've had BTC for some time I've recently starting looking at ways to get Altcoins, preferably free. Here's a quick list of options that I made for myself but others may find useful:

Nice chart you have created there.  I wouldn't otherwise have been aware of many of these.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet gambling excitement on: August 12, 2017, 01:56:18 PM
What are some of the good faucets(without pop-up ads and other B/S). That I can recommend to newcomers?
305  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin price possble to reach $4500 soon? on: August 12, 2017, 01:52:41 PM
I'd say there's some resistance around the $4,000 pricepoint, after that it should stay between 4k and 5k for a while, till it builds up enough to break higher.  With institutional investors climbing aboard its hard to give a certain timeline.  Cryptocoin market cap is now 132 Billion and climbing fast.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Finding Gems in the cluster of new coin launches. on: August 12, 2017, 12:46:40 PM
The drastic increase in Bitcoin price has once again lead to a large amount of new coin launches.  What are some picks for the gems amongst this recent series of new coins?

Came back here to check on things.  The website and exchange are still works in progress, the coin is only 1 month old so that is to be expected.  Seems like many of the bounty collectors haven't returned to the thread to post to support this coin,  maybe  they're otherwise occupied with the BTC price surge?  Look forward to seeing what's next for this coin.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is no longer a currency on: August 12, 2017, 12:13:40 PM
With the growing number of 'BTM', I think its not too long before it is considered mainstream.  Also read the recent article where the investment firm consider Bitcoin something that the average investor can no longer ignore.  A little late to the party.

I have changed my Avatar in support of this coin.  Before the end of these airdrops I predict it will become one of the more easily recognizable cryptocoin symbols.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY][BOPT] Blockoptions - The First Decentralized Binary Options Platform on: August 12, 2017, 12:04:06 PM
This was an interesting idea.  I wonder how far away are full bitcoin options with the recent news involving the CBOE.
311  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question Saturday 08/12/17 Is Bitcoin going up to $4300 in next 2 days, Y or N? on: August 12, 2017, 11:31:19 AM
Woke up and noticed it hit over 3700 easily.  Not sure how much steam it has from here.  Although at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it just continued to rally for the rest of the month.  Let's see what happens.  4000 is just a skip ahead really.

Reading through the first post it is very thorough.  I like the bounty ideas, especially the android wallet, though I most likely won't be collecting any. I have to say nice work, and well done to the developers.

Carefully with this wallet you need to have the seed written down, not just a user name and password.  It does give a warning, but I managed to miss it...

Why the wallet waves it?

Only if the info is in your browser cache.  Read this on the support page:

"By the way, the seed always contains 15 words with spaces between each word. Except for the beginning of the first word and the end of the last word.

Unfortunately there is no way to restore access to Waves tokens without a SEED phrase. If the user lost the SEED phrase, in this case he also lost Waves tokens.

Waves platform does not have access to users accounts and seed phrases."

315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / My experience with bitcoin ATM. Had to wait as was in use. on: August 11, 2017, 08:55:10 PM
Last week I went to the only bitcoin ATM that was nearby that both bought and sold coin.  Had to travel 8 miles, was in use when i got there, so had to wait a few minutes. Then had to wait for one confirmation to cash out(around 1/2 hour) The map showed a few others bitcoin atm's nearby that only sold.  It paid at a rate of $3000 per coin, about a 10% discount at the time.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thread for little known altcoins with potential on: August 11, 2017, 08:26:05 PM
I share some names with previous forum members. My small market cap high flyers are

1337 - gaming coin, similarities to DGB, high staking rate paid for PoS mining

Disclaimer these will be very volatile, these are only for the most risk tolerant investors!

1337 managed to secure an interesting name, if nothing else.  Also they have been re-established with a new dev.  I was using faucets to claim what I could of them, the price kept sliding lower so I dumped most of them.  Will be interesting to see what happens.

Check out Fupoof coin.  Its a wave based coin in pre-ICO.  Only 1,000,000 coins.

Have checked out the website a few times, couldn't manage to register yet though, will check again when it gets updated.  I added a new announcement at a site called bitcoinforum:

Have also changed my avatar to support fupoof.

319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thread for little known altcoins with potential on: August 11, 2017, 02:18:02 AM
Many of the coins listed in top 100 to 200 have added little of value to the community and don't seem to have much potential.  Would like to list lesser known coins that might not have as much money behind them, but have a good team, and potential to do something useful.
Although that might sound true (especially now with all these new, useless alternative coins showing up), I think you would rarely find a coin with low marketcap that is worth it, or even has a development team. Heck, even in those top 100 coins, there is a lot of coins with no recent development.
This is true.  It seems like many people of the coins have a few people attempting some sort of promotion of one or more of them and it works to keep any of these from having major support behind them even though many are worth millions.
320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: August 11, 2017, 02:11:50 AM
I'm in the camp that believes it has already started long ago, and that at least some of the scams and website failures were attempts to undermine cryptocoins.
