Zclassic will rebrand to BTC private. $ZCL is a fork of Zcash without founder's rewards, which is a great thing for the decentralization of the coin! It's currently pumping hard because of the rebranding announcement ! I think the community will support it and it will be a successful privacy coin tbh  Yes the rebranding is certainly for something in that growth, but i think it's the kind of coin that can go far much higher. i've sold half on the double and keep holding the rest. |

Nah, diversification should start if you have 1.000$+ to spend currently... Its no point throwing a couple of $ in each coin... around 300$ should be the lowest investment in a coin... that way atleast you make 300$ if it doubles... making 50$, is better of working for it It is true, most people who are diversifying $75 or $50 in a few altcoins are pretty dumb, how the fuck are they going to buy fifty bucks of a coin? It is useless, if the coin goes x2, it will only give you $50 of profit = nothing. There is nothing dumb here. If you start small you play small that's it. Then you learn, earn more and things will get bigger naturally. I you do otherwise you are exposed to lose everything quickly. What would be dumb would be going all in and experiencing a massive dump on the coin you bet. What do you do next, when your balance is reduced to 15% of what you had first? Diversification is key in order to reduce risks |

I suggest you to split in 3, for something a bit safe $200 in BTC then $150 in 2 others projects.
or you can try something like this :
$200 in BTC
$150 in STRAT
$75 in an other project
$75 in an other project

So my monologue continues... AMP reached 5k and above today and made a new all time high in USD. This run will be absolutely massive... i expect at least x5 from where we are right now. It can go even higher, some analysis are very optimistic for this project i 2018. Definitely one of the major projects for the months to come! |

This is not a so easy question, especially if you are holding for medium/long term.
I suggest you to define a strategy and stick to it for a little while before changing your own rules (if needed)
You can delimit things with 2 questions :
1/ at what profit do you want to sell a fraction of what you hold?
+20%?
+70%?
2/ how much do you want to sell once the profit target is reached?
25% of the total?
selling half on the double?
Today my strategy is to sell a fraction even if i know the price will go higher.
For little gambles i sell 33% or 50% at double, then hold the rest until the price is fine.
For more serious investments i sell like 10% at different stages, it helps me holding better the rest, and by taking a bit of profit earlier i am less "stressed" by the evolution of price.

ZCL did a nice +100% today, i entered at 31k 2 days ago, following a random call  Got to be my Xmass present After a more serious analysis this can go higher very soon! |
