lightning has been around for some time. Anyone have a link where I can read up (quickly in summarised form) on developments?
I'm j/w about adoption and barriers to it.

so what is the issue with wrapped asset exchanges?

Are both techs incompatible?

If its anything but two more years of no delivery I will be surprised.
Seriously... we need to talk. Winks, Nods, and promises of infinite success behind closed doors don't hold out in the daylight of lack of progress over two years. There is no need to talk, only a need for you to deliver for the people that still believe in you. That's not me. You are the "leader" of this coin, your lack of delivery, credibility, accountability, transparency, and frankly anything that could be called progress in over two years is what has hurt this coin. it is little more than a joke, and one which no credible exchange would list. As proven by the fact that... no credible exchange has listed it. Your paranoia to protect this coin from a mythical fork killed it if there was actually anything to protect. Bitcoin is still bitcoin, with BSV and BCH but footnotes. Eth is still king while ETC languishes. Your fixation on this is an own goal as wide as any i've ever seen. If you were really credible you wouldn't have needed the patents, but even then they wouldn't have taken over two years. If you need help funding the lawyer fees just put it to the community instead of lies.

You guys have completely lost the plot with your ODN to ODIN verification.
Requesting people provide Photo and Address ID for a Coinswap is insane. KYC is to do with money being from legitimate sources, requesting this information for a swap is beyond the pale.
The provider you are planning to use, Shuftipro, has also made no declaration with regards to GDPR compliance. If any of this information is leaked, for any purpose, you become untouchable by any legitimate exchange, due to the potential repercussions.
The process you have done this claim on is also extremely shady, and not upfront - putting this Government ID and Address Verification after people have registered, locked in their ODN, and linked in emails and phone numbers.
I have spent a long time protecting my privacy to prevent myself being a target - as have others, and I would have done things extremely differently if you had acted in an upfront, straightforward manner. Now I have no choice but to sell whatever I have left at cut rate prices, along with the locked ODIN claim account, to someone willing to do the KYC and risk getting their information revealed for a gain significantly below verifying yourself on a big exchange.

Fuck yes finally - hello patents goodbye blue balls. Sorry to hear about CCR's health but it's excellent news that the new guys are making it happen so quickly. Imagine it, one month from now we'll have patents and a look at the tech and be well on our way to being a legitimate contender.
Yes it gives me renewed hope for the tech!

Hi Guys, I think we may finally have some progress on XBY. As we all suspected CCR was not able to progress XBY at all, to the extent that absolutely nothing got done in the last 7 months. The new CEO has advised us of this. Thankfully, we seem to have other people in charge, and some actual progress. I'm FOMOing in now!

StakeNet is now ready for cross-chain dapps with the Blocknet Protocol! Now that XSN is compatible with the Blocknet Protocol, it can be used in cross-blockchain dapps and traded on beta Block DX! You can read more about Blocknet, the Blocknet Protocol, and Block DX here: https://blocknet.cohttps://sites.google.com/view/blocknet/directoryTo get started with trading on Block DX, follow this setup guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ciwLFSXwv6CXd3QEvVW88lHXo9CSIlweYOoSbDHkies/previewThe setup is in the process of being automated/abstracted so it's much easier and streamlined to use for beginners. In addition to that, in July we are planning to release SPV support which will allow for the creation of litewallets so whole blockchains will not need to be downloaded. Stakenet will have it's own Cross Chain capabilities, as well as dapps, so no need to piggy bag on XSN's success. Is there any more detail on the dapps at this stage?

I think large exchanges are looking for good projects with real proof of tech.
After Stakenet.IO I can't imagine what would keep these exchanges from wanting to list XSN, particularly as the volume is over 30 BTC/24h on Cryptopia.

Makes sense... i'm growing a bag of this stuff, I think it is a great candidate for a bigger exchange.
Nothing says legit like working tech.
Yep they seem have been checking off the boxes to comply so hopefully it leads somewhere soon. Are you using TPoS to stake you bag? If not get it done, super simple to setup and rewards are great. Yeah i'm using TPoS, was much easier than setting up my own and I can add and exit from it easily. I think it would be helpful if the team expanded coin control so its easier to move from 1 merchant or another! Wondering if its worth picking up another bag now, but market is so scary... All red

Interesting - it seems to have the fundamentals and proof of technology to get to Binance.
Any members of the team around can talk about any exchange applications?

i've started offline staking and its nice and easy.
Thumbs up!

May Update has been posted - https://blog.xtrabytes.global/xtrabytes/xtrabytes-news/on-the-pulse-may-edition/ There is still no sign of CCR in the Discord however from the message on the Patent update it is clear that, far from being ready in April, it is no where near being ready. To my mind accountability for the patent work rested with the person doing it - CCR. He has failed in this and taken 5 months to realize he is in over his head. With this admitted competence point in the latest update the team has advised CCR, who they have admitted doesn't have the competency, will continue doing the patent work. From all of this it appears the patents, and thus proof of actual code is very far away. Separately they are launching a simulation of how the network will work for developers. I question the decision to waste time developing and writing a simulation, and can only conclude main-net or a functional test-net is far way. It's not a great update, but at least it is an update.

Update 01/May/2018:
The main thread remains locked - which continues to sully the legitimacy of the project All given deadlines for patent updates/progress have been passed with no promised information. CCR now appears to me missing or "taking a break".
I hope this can be turned around but it is looking more questionable.
