21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: July 13, 2017, 09:52:56 PM
The first time I went into bitcoin world is very confusing and I keep learning how to get a bitcoin and finally I have friends who have learned a lot about bitcoin I also learn a lot with my close friends how to get bitcoin and I have Followed a signature campaign and that's where I got a lot of learning that I really liked about the signature campaign
Do you think that it is easy to get bitcoin just like that, when i came to bitcoin i do have a clear idea on what to do with it as i was gambling with it all the time,i just thought it as a good way to gamble without giving out your identity and then started learning about the big market and started investing in good projects and so these are my experiences.
22  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: July 13, 2017, 09:47:22 PM
There may be a big dump just before or after the halving. One can easily mix gambling with investment. If you have no idea about the purchase you make, then it is probably gambling.  Personally i wouldn't keep any btc nowadays. You can buy bitcoins after the halving when the price is stable though.
What do you mean halving? Halving is over last year and the next one is going to happen on 2020 (if I'm not mistaken). Maybe you are talking about the split/fork that is about to happen. Yes there will be some speculators that are saying that big dump is about to happen but there are some also that says there is a major pump.
Yes the next halving is around 2020,it is really difficult to really predict the real outcome of this fork and if there is a split there is a a possibility that there is a big dump and you must expect the worst, always play safe if you are holding a huge amount of money in it as i like to travel the safe route.
Investment is a good opportunity but right now i would back out from everything.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: July 13, 2017, 09:41:04 PM
I am not planning anything for now, i am waiting for all the drama to end to make up a plan on what my strategy is and then will plan on executing it after getting a clear picture, until then i will stick on with the amount of coins i have right now and not investing much into it until i get a clear picture.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin about the free world, but not for us in the Middle East! on: July 13, 2017, 09:27:19 PM
If you could close down the gap and make things easier for the users then if you have a good business proposal then you could start an exchange but make sure you learn the legal difficulties you might be facing in the future, check with a legal expert and then plan on doing something and that is the best bet.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 main mistakes of Bitcoin newbies on: July 13, 2017, 09:04:48 PM
Right now it's easy to understand the basics in a short period of time. But with the years the whole cryptocurrency ecosystem would become more complex.
And maybe in 2030 it would be as hard to understand it as it is now to understand for 80-90-old gents and ladies the principles of the web.
I clearly did not understand what you are trying to tell here, the so called 80 year old individual by 2030 means that they are currently having 67 years old and i am sure most of them who are interested in learning about these things would learn by now and the world has changed drastically and who does not have a smart phone right now.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy more bitcoin or wait for August 1st? on: July 13, 2017, 08:56:17 PM
There is a new big BTC crash coming. See and study the charts it says enough. It is for sure there will be a big crash coming and it is obvious it will be in a couple of weeks.
I am not good at reading charts and predicting the future ,if you have any idea about it please describe it in details, one thing i know is that in a couple of weeks there is a BIP 148 upgrade and if that does not happen mutually then we will see a split and that might cause a crash,i am not too sure about it and that is the only possibility i see.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: July 13, 2017, 08:45:18 PM
Why cash is better than bitcoin because when it comes in bitcoin, you cannot use bitcoins when it comes in purchasing from the market unless you exchange your bitcoin into cash. While in cash you can purchase anything you want to buy. But some store are accepting bitcoins but they are few.
I depends upon how you see bitcoin, if you are looking it as a medium of investment then it is a good thing, but if everyone is able to use bitcoin on a daily basis to purchase things then it would have been awesome,i expect these things changes with time and we could see new developments so that these issues will be sorted out in the future.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Photos: Life inside of China’s massive and remote bitcoin mines on: July 13, 2017, 06:59:48 PM
I would like to know how much hash power they are generating as i could not see anything about that in the article.I really feel sad for the workers as it says that they have to hitch hike more than twenty kilometers to reach the nearest town which is cruel, since the labor and electricity is cheap we are seeing more farms from China.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do males make up 97% of the Bitcoin community? on: July 13, 2017, 06:32:05 PM
I'm female. Only rec ntly discovered crypto currencies. I'm blown away them. My nephew told me about bitcoin when it was four pounds each. I wish I had listen d more closely. But I guess better late than never. I just thought of I as a fad. That would fizzle out. You could even mine bitcoin back then.
Good to see females around the forum and in the crypto currency platform,i am sure there are many females in this platform and if you really were an early investor you could have made a fortune by now, even now you could make some smart investments and make some good money if you are careful about your investments.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: July 13, 2017, 05:51:35 PM
Taking the control of money away from the gov so we can have donation based public services in the future.  This will attract people who actually want to work for the public for the right reasons and not just power/money.
As long as you hold the coins in crypto currency no government will peep into it but once you convert them to fiat then all the eyes will be on that and it is accountable. If you could do everything online and do your purchases online then i would say it could keep the eyes away from the authorities.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: July 12, 2017, 10:02:00 PM
Ethereum sounds good Smiley. It was already at $360 and can easily reach it again in the forseeable future, while bitcoin already is at a relatively high level. Of course can it grow more, but the lower priced coins have a higher percentage grow potential.
There are other good projects that could give you better profits than investing in Ethereum ,there are very good projects coming up and if you are able to invest in a good project you could make more money than investing in ETH.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: July 11, 2017, 09:38:43 AM
It's very hard to win thousands just using faucet. Some sites offers faucet but with low amount because you need to wager or level up depends on the site but making faucet to thousand you will need a good luck. You might trying hitting 9900x payout from day 1 and don't stop until you hit it.
It is really hard to win thousands of dollars with just faucet but if you are really having a lucky day then you could win those kind of money, anything is possible when it comes to gambling, hitting 9900x is really hard and never expect to hit that with faucets and i am sure all the sites have a limit on the number of claims.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit by Sept - Buy BTC Now!!! on: July 11, 2017, 05:52:59 AM
Good opportunity for big investors. Or may be best opportunity for the people on the middle grounds. Hope to see that price will increase and not decrease really. If something goes in opposite side then it might be disastrous as people will loose their big assets and fiat money. Wont be good for bitcoin after partition.
It is a good opportunity for each and every individual user and not just big investors,if you are having money right now then it is the best time to enter and hold for a longer time as the predictions from world over predicts that the price would triple from this current situation in coming years and if that is true then there is nothing wrong in it.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: July 10, 2017, 09:13:13 PM
No one knows exactly what will happen to bitcoin prices, although currently bitcoin price is down but we do not have accurate data on bitcoin prices for tomorrow let alone for later, in addition to expectation of bitcoin prices will continue to increase as price increases and increase Popularity Bitcoin current.
Even if the price of bitcoin goes down in the coming months i wont have any problem as i will be glad to collect more coins if the price of bitcoin goes down because i am sure that the future of bitcoin will be positive in the future.
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in Economics class? on: July 10, 2017, 09:04:03 PM
If ever Bitcoin is discussed in class then it would be very nice for Bitcoin's publicity.
If bitcoin is discussed in class it is a good publicity as students are the future,it can be a topic in technical based courses too as the technology behind bitcoin is far superior than we have seen ,either way it is good for the publicity of bitcoin.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: Would bitcoin help teach kids about saving? on: July 10, 2017, 08:44:29 PM
I agree with you, it is inappropriate for children to learn about bitcoin at an early age, there are certainly many other areas of knowledge and education that they need to learn according to their age and would be more useful for children
Yes that is a good point, but there are kids who invested in bitcoin at the age of 12,hope you saw the articles that says a kid who invest a few thousands is now a millionaire because of bitcoin,so there are kids in this platform and this is the only platform where age is not a hurdle. Smiley
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] Poland blocks illegal fiat gambling sites. on: July 09, 2017, 11:47:38 PM
blocked 1 sites but appeared 2 new gambling sites i think Poland government have to working more hard because gambling as the hobbies of many people although it's illegal but most people will not care and still want to figure out and visiting gambling sites and playing at there
The problems becomes if you are making a bit of money from the site then there is a possibility that they could hold your funds and never pay you citing that you are not allowed to gamble from that particular country and i have seen sites pulling these kind of things to the players ,so i would think twice how they will be solving the issues if the case arises and then make my move to gamble with that site.
38  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-07-08] Venezuelans Keep Surviving Government Failures Thanks to Bitcoin a on: July 08, 2017, 11:47:40 PM
It is really good to hear that a bad economic situation in a country is helping the people who are investing in bitcoin,i have heard that the electricity is cheap in Venezuela and there are many mining farms situated in that country and for them bitcoin will be a bonus to over come the struggle they are facing at the moment.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Good Reason to Own Some BTC on: July 08, 2017, 10:17:14 PM
Maybe someday everything will be in the coins, so its value becomes the value of real money. I do not know, it may be a silly concept, and maybe cointi forever remain gold bars
What is that you are trying to tell,do you know that the price of bitcoin is over $2000 and what do you mean by to reach the value of real money,do you want to see the price going down or what.  Tongue @ OP i do not trust online wallets one bit as you never know when they will go offline and run with your money,so i am always careful with these things.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet The Man Traveling The World On $25 Million Of Bitcoin Profits on: July 07, 2017, 09:25:36 PM
I think Smight will regret selling for $350, he could've been extremely rich and he blew it. On one hand it was a great experience and he got a lot of money from that trade, but if he decided to wait just 3 more years, he would've held a real fortune of over 50 million dollars and i'm sure if he held it until 2018, he'd have at least 10 million more.
Can't say I don't envy him in a way, but I'd have a lot of regrets if I were him.
I do not call that regrets, i will call that greed. Tongue He profited over $25 million and it is more than enough to settle for the rest of his life, you really do not cry about the profit he made with his mere $3000 investment,i would have sold well before reaching $100 if i were having those kind of coins in my arsenal. Tongue
