181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Klitschko vs Josua Info and predictions on: May 01, 2017, 06:18:55 AM
Damn I can't believe I missed this one. Anyone made some money with this? I was going to bet on an AJ win, apparently Klitschko got KO'd. Next fight is Tyson Fury vs AJ for sure. I wonder if Wladimir is now retiring? after this he is not going to get a rematch with Tyson.
Im going to watch the fight and see how that KO went.
Even i missed the fight, the hype was really huge but i was waiting for this for a very long time but as expected Wladimir Klitschko was the toughest test for Joshua  and he won the fight in the eleventh round and with the win Anthony Joshua is probably the biggest star in British boxing history, with age in his corner he will be a champion for a very long time.
182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can reach 3000 USD in a year ? on: May 01, 2017, 03:24:02 AM
Bitcoin price literally doubled in one year but since $1200 price range is a little high for most of the people they rather find alternatives to direct buying Bitcoins which would be mining and as long as people can mine for themselves with a cost of even %80 of the current market price they will definitely do it, so unless difficulty increases that much as to make it more profitable to simply buy the coins and not mining them I don't see $3000 or even near $2000 in this year.
Even if ETF approves then people will go and mine instead of buying into the hype.
Home based casual mining is long gone,it is not at all profitable to mine bitcoin with the difficultly level we have, the positive side is that since the alt coin market is rising along with bitcoin people will be investing their time in mining alts and then convert those coins into bitcoin and that is the possible situation now,the speculation of bitcoin will continue and new grounds will be broken with time.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: April 30, 2017, 11:54:34 PM
Many people are expecting same results but who know what is going to be the price ETH in coming, daily there are many coins being launched on basis of Ethereum technology, these things make Ethereum more popular.
New coins and technology are using Ethereum platform and that is the most important thing for ETH as it is not a currency but a contract platform and that is the main difference between bitcoin and Ethereum, the recent price increase is simply because of the possibility of an Ethereum ETF and the chances of approval are higher and so is the reason we saw a rally today.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Looks like we have set a new ATH at $1,377 on: April 30, 2017, 10:58:22 PM
Bubble woo hoo!
Every price increase is a bubble and every drop is a burst and as far as economics and trade goes it was like that for centuries and what is special now in the price of bitcoin is that traders are positive with the review of SEC and so we are seeing another bull run which is able to break new records and looking at this rally i can very well say that it will cross $2000 if ETF is approved.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: [UPDATE] $1,400 HITTED (Next goal is $1,500) on: April 30, 2017, 10:36:49 PM
I am not too sure from which exchange you are quoting this price but when i checked the price is yet to touch $1400 in the exchanges i am monitoring,it seems the bull run started when the SEC said it will be reviewing the winklevoss ETF and from what i understand the run will continue till the SEC rejects it. Grin I am not sure whether SEC will have a change in view and that too in a couple of months, which is highly unlikely.
186  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2000 anyone? on: April 30, 2017, 07:30:54 PM
2000$ will for sure happen.
The question is if we will see 10000$ soon
You can speculate as much as you want but in order to speculate you need to have some realistic chances,if the SEC approves ETF next month then we would see a good rally and with the price at an all time high ,i think a good couple of trading days could take the price closer to $2000 and if the ETF is approved then the growth of price will be immense.
187  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC ETF SEC APPROVED on MAY 15th on: April 30, 2017, 07:06:43 PM
On March 10 There are an article that handed a proposal to the SEC, but The SEC just handed Bitcoin a huge setback, The Securities and Exchange Commission has denied the application for the Winklevoss Bitcoin Trust ETF, in a stunning defeat for its founders, due to the unregulated nature of Bitcoin. The result is a major setback for the fund, and a frustrating false start for the crypto-currency at large. but if this is a proposal once again lets just hope it gets approval it will be a great step forward for bitcoin it this continued.
Let me tell you one thing lets say that bitcoin does not need ETF to begin with to grow further but if SEC comes up with a decision to allow ETF for bitcoin then it will be a positive step and we can expect a big flow of investment in it which in turns reflects in the price of bitcoin, the possibility of approval is slim as i do not know whether there is any drastic changes in the outlook of bitcoin in the eyes of SEC.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: April 30, 2017, 02:12:08 PM
Those people throwing issues without further research are those people who are always negative. So after what you have said you are going to tell us this wont be possible or successful? For you to know if you are going to make issues about this project you are just making this project more popular, we could say thanks to you. We support this project mostly in terms of having potential to be a successful one.
It is not all about being negative,it is good to be skeptical but most of the times people do come up with doubts without really reading the entire thing and not really spending time understanding what they a project is all about ,making issues wont make a project popular in the right sense and as far as i am concerned the people behind the escrows are trusted by the community.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants these Bitcoin scaling wars to end? on: April 28, 2017, 11:43:37 PM
And one of these days, an alt might surpass bitcoin's dominance.
I can accept everyone's opinion about everything regarding the war and the split between bitcoin enthusiast about what to be and what not to be but still i could not believe that an alt could surpass bitcoins dominance ,it is not possible as bitcoin is the true digital currency and the rest are just copying bitcoin.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto should be richer than Bill Gates. on: April 24, 2017, 09:43:38 PM
The problem is that many do not know about the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, maybe if he wants to reveal his identity to the public he could be richer than the Bill Gates.
How does revealing his identity would make him richer. The basic design of bitcoin is that the early adopters had the biggest share and since Satoshi had a good stack of coins it is known that he has not moved a lot of coins he has mined ,i really doubt if there is any kind of movement in the coins saved by satoshi there would be a massive panic situation .
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: April 24, 2017, 09:27:11 PM
"or the house sets some mathematical rules to beat you at the end"
in other words the house can cheat you
Your theory might be right and as long as there is no concrete evidence you cannot say they are cheating and all of the legit dice sites runs under provably fair rules and every bet made can be verified by a third party tool,so how can you call that cheating if you are able to verify your rolls ,the house cannot manipulate the outcome of each and every roll.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 24, 2017, 08:59:02 PM
MI is really a very hard team to defeat and RPS did well in both matches to win .
Tomorrow I am sure RCB will give their everything to win the match but it won't be easy as SRH will be eyeing for top 2 spots.
RPS might be the kryptonite of MI and they could not defeat them in the second straight match and coming into this match MI were undefeated for five matches straight and now they surrendered to Pune. Tomorrow it is going to be a crucial game for RCB as they have to perform better after their humiliating loss where they even struggled to cross 50 runs on the board.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: One Reason not to be "All Inn" on any Single Investment for Long on: April 24, 2017, 08:38:59 PM
I've done this once and not a very clever move to do. Investing your money in only one crypto could lead to loss once it crashed. You should spread your investment. Not only on one but more crypto. Atleast it will cover your losses once one of your alt crashes. It also the depends on the alt you choose. Make sure you choose a good alt. Me i bought XRP, ETH and Dash. So far, it gives me good profit.
It is good to carry the band wagon of diversification in the crypto currency world but before doing that you have to understand everything about the team and have to follow all their updates, you really do not want to have a very long list of diverse coins instead select a couple of good coins and follow their development team and you will get an idea when the price will move.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: The fiat-money bubble! on: April 24, 2017, 08:12:57 PM
Fiat is the lever through which the government manages people. Therefore, this lever will always exist. And the government specifically makes conditions under which it is very difficult to obtain money. So that people do not think about the revolution, but think about work
The fiat will always be a lever for the government and i am not sure whether it manages and control people, the fiat bubbles used to pop once in a while and we have seen that in the past and i am sure that satoshi came up with the idea of bitcoin simply because we had a recession and that might have made him think about a revolutionary new platform.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 24, 2017, 07:51:31 PM
There's not much other people can do about one's greed tbh. It's a matter of self-control and it's only you yourself who can help yourself out in that kind of situation. You can try to keep your coins in an offline wallet for you to not touch your coins and set a certain threshold every week for your gambling habits.
There is nothing you can do rather than being lucky not to burn everything and put a dent in your bank roll, moving coins to an offline wallet is a good choice to control your urges and another thing you can do is to lock that site and block using your firewall or move your coins in a paper wallet and put in your bank locker so that you wont be able to touch that when ever you want.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: April 24, 2017, 07:27:31 PM
Delate account on this forum Smiley
Do you think that this forum is a gambling site.  Tongue what is the correlation you have with this forum and a gambling site

Attending a support group for gamblers will be a major help when trying to quit and when you have accrued enough losses, you will be bound to stop since you no money to gamble with anymore.
That is in fact a really good thing and i have being to support groups for my troubles and it helps even though you feel like a dead beat. Hearing everyone's stories and misfortunes will give you a positive vibe and it will help you in making a decision and think clearly.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: April 24, 2017, 06:40:32 PM
for me. I write and record all my accounts and pass to my son and teach him at about it.
share remaining time to family and ask God for forgiveness of sin.
It is a good plan ,if you are having a son then you should save something for him ,asking forgiveness for the sin's is a bit dramatic and since the thread itself is a bit dramatic i am not sure what to tell here. It all depends upon what my mood is and if i knew my days are numbered first and foremost i would panic and might die thinking about it rather than planning to gamble. Cheesy Tongue
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reason Bitcoin will always be #1 on: April 24, 2017, 03:26:02 PM
Well the reasons behind of bitcoin to be always number one because of it's profitable ability to make people be always comfortable on what they are earning, and specially on the fast transactions that they had all the time. Bitcoin was an anonymous type of money that has conquered beyond the world's currency market and even trading of altcoin depends on the btc price exchange, that always have higher profit of btc marketplace. So we are now at the progressive stage of digital currency, and surely price will be much expensive in the future.
It is not all about profit and that is not the only reason bitcoin is the number one coin,of course bitcoin started everything and it is the benchmark every other alt coin trying to impersonate rather than the other way around and it is the real digital currency that revolutionized how transaction can be carried out without a central authority.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 24, 2017, 12:09:35 PM
-snip-
Even if they have the best batsman, they are not consistent . Players like Nitish Rana , Rishabh Pant have been consistent throughout. There are hardly 2-3 matches which they haven't did their work well. It is all about being consistent is what I would say.
I would consider the best batsmen in the world who performs regularly and the names i have mentioned have been performing well in the tournaments around the world and when they play for their national team, but what i was trying to say is that when there is a team of super stars they have to have individual rolls if they have to gel together and perform as a unit and for that to happen you need a strong captain.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: less wild fluctuation? is bitcoin bemome more mature? on: April 24, 2017, 11:59:07 AM
In the first quarter of 2017, bitcoin price only increased 10%, while ETH 600% and DASH 846%. And i noticed that btc price is like going steady in the past few weeks. Is this good or bad? Does this mean it is growing into a mature investment?
There has being a good rally in the alt coin market and not only did ETH and DASH had a good rally almost all of the top coins did have a good rally and bitcoin on the other hand started its rally by December and was having its bull run until recently, but one thing you have to understand is that market capitalization as there is a huge difference,we are not seeing much volatility in bitcoin is simply because of the volume we have now.
