Is it stupid to start with solo mine at launch? (2 Mh/s rig)
No, it's your ONLY time to solo mine yeh good devs here - I suspect us little people will ok for the first few mins whilst the pool guys compile their asses off

Hi Marc!
You mentioned you're looking for someone to help you expand Vision? Is that also including customer service psychologically-strategic oriented tasks on how to target as many customer/clients as it gets?
+1 yeah Marc... I need a job too, miner wiz, great location with lots of professional technical support and sales experience

nice! I've seen a lot of services like this popping up, but whats nice about bitcoinproject.net you can see their coin endorsements and easily check their track record - BTW I have doge wagered in doge-dice so I started using your charts, very handy thanks

Hey Guys,
Just my opinion, but might be best to wait for the site to be up and running for about 1hr before doing deposits and withdrawals again.
Viperbass says his iCoins and btc he deposited to buy more iCoins is still available when he managed to login earlier.
So I take it by tomorrow this time things should be a bit smoother.
I agree everyone attempting to get their coins back is essentially ddosing the site....

This lack of public information was a result of misunderstandings between PR people.
Our current estimate is that CoinMarket.io will resume normal operation (with trading) in 24 hours. The extended downtime is required to patch some critical issues, fix clogged up wallets and run full database audits.
Please relax. We will be doing our best to keep the site avalible for withdrawals until trading is restarted.
We are not going anywhere, more technical information coming soon.
All withdrawals that failed without an txid will be processed manually (most of them already processed).
knew it,boys who work that hard dont just slump off with all the cash, thanx guys really great work keep it up !!

Just got on and withdrew everything I could (some left as exchanges aren't available) and confirmed all withdrawals via email links with no failures. Time will tell if it works or not...
got your coins? Yes, they came through. if your coins are withdrew today I think (hope) its unlikely coinmarket is a scam. +1 this

Please keep in mind that this is a raw, untested version of the software. Anything can happen, so use it at your own risk.
just reading through this... so fishy.... but also fair enough....
I'm 90% sure they are in the UK or at least in the same time zone... not a PO box address in oslo....

Another overnight exchange bites the dust.
I do not understand why you all keeps funds in all these new exchanges. Exchanges like Cryptsy, Btc-e are fair enough but to trust these ones is surprising.
Becourse a lot of new coins trading on new exchanges... Well.. i guess nobody keep all money on new exchanges but we need some btc to trade there... The losses should be less then. A few posts above somebody mentioned he put all his mined coins in there like using an online wallet. Thats just stupid. The exchange guy was active yesterday. In case he does not turn up you all should take some legal action. Open a thread in the scam accusation board too and request the bitcointalk admins for the personal details. agreed, this has truly crippled my mining operation.... I was literally just gaining some faith in coinmarket.io & happened to dump a lot of different coins there just before they went down

I have funds on coinmarket.io too. Their website is currently down, supposedly a maintenance.
I hope we didn't get goxxed!
Too late. This kid has been online a few times since his last post but said nothing. No responses to PM's, no responses on the thread, garbage tweet updates every few days. Our coins are gone. If somebody does find out their location, then they are in big trouble. The fact they haven't even posted a concise update of what's happened and whether everyone's coins are safe tells me that its over, coins are lost and they dont know what to do about it. At least other exchanges have the balls to post what's happened and put a plan in place. This kid has just gone offline. Well god help them if people do find out their name and location. There are some nutcases in this world, and you dont know who this kid may have pissed off by just going offline with their coins. chill man!! why would he update his twitter if he'd done a runner ? That plus the exchange is clearly the product of a very skilled someone putting in lots of dedication....that aside they/he does need some help with PR plus this - https://twitter.com/CoinMarketio/statuses/440730252881321985tells me they are recovering from some serious attacks, bravo to them for sticking it out if that is the case.....

Two blocks that i mined just turned orphan after i restarted wallet same problem here buddy..... wallet out of sync again.... kinda getting annoying
|
|
|
I'm starting to think there are multiple forks running and I dunno which is the real one! I know for sure there is a fork stuck at 1481 and a pool is on that one, I managed to get on another one that sync'd to 1600's somewhere and I could mine it, another one tells me bad checkpoint, and now most recently I cut down my nodes to just one and it syncs and shows me low 1900's.
I dunno what's up.
the RPC server just needs kicking into gear, just try reopen it, Ive had to do it a few times and I seem to have my coins .... pools are less likely to do this i guess?
|
|
|
type in console : listtransactions and there u will see the block status
transactions seem to have come though now ( or I have just found more blocks ) lol seems like a pretty fair launch hopefully dev can fix these checkpoint issues... hopefully just a duff node or something that needs removing ? also how easy is it to add myself as a node? I have a very fast connection conveniently located within a good distance from telewest house in London
|
|
|
I had 2 blocks.. think the checkpoint failed as wallet stopped syncing so had a little clear out of appdata folder (saving the wallet.dat & conf) guess they default as orphans if my node is not online to confirm it? back 2 zero any help is appreciated

Why is it "very silly"? I've seen it happen to countless other coins. I'm giving you friendly advice dude. Make clear your plans for the coin and get it on an exchange asap. You're working on an e-shop? Great, but nobody knows about that unless they find one post that you've mentioned it in. It's not even in the original post! If people don't know this stuff, then the market cannot "decide" anything.
Gawd, give it a break..has it even been a day yet? ..and at least the launch was relatively smooth..did Dogecoin suffer because it had a very minimalistic launch? yeah i agree this is the ideal launch
