i am facing this problem

http://i64.tinypic.com/j9pw02.jpg

check out GPU1 H/S

i tried fresh install drivers with DDU, and tried with diffrent cards also same problem. my 1 gpu always give me bad hashrate also check afterburner ss. and i also tried diffrent pool. but same problem. even i tried with
GA-970A-DS3P motherboard

and i tried with 5 rx 470 cards also and tried 15.12 drivers too

my config

MB= gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 R5
RAM= 8GB
VIRTUAL MEMORY = 16GB
PROCESSOR= AMD FX6300
1200WATT PSU

Just put screen on card running slow and put it back on preferred card when card is running properly! Wink

i m not understand u bro. pls explain more

This usually happens when pc reboot and miner restarts. I remove HDMI cable from the usual card and insert it into card that's hashing low, hashes will start to climb on card and than I put HDMI back on coolest card. I used to uninstall driver, but that's a waste of time.

Plug HDMI cable the first GPU in the x16 Pcie slot (if this is the slow hashing card) and the other ones hashing normal speed without cable. This helped me the same problem...

HI guys.

I have a Sapphire RX 470 4GB OC getting about 140h/s with v8 whilst fully stock.  Has anyone tinkered with the 470 and seen if they can get more? Whats the best program to use as trixx and afterburner just seem to crash the card when I make changes?

Hey, I have same cards Sapphire RX470 4GB (Not Nitro+)  and I made a custom rom based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP_zSP2H6ho
Only the memory timings changed!
This card:  http://www.sapphiretech.com/productdetial.asp?pid=0582294D-5A90-4EF0-B5E1-5EDC1C3ACBE1&lang=eng

Hash from 140 H/s >> 170-174 H/s

Download here: https://mega.nz/#!95810QgZ!P26iRtDHmW8b41QGaDyr054TJaD44Lx5QlBhp3kBKjM pack included the original rom, modified rom, atiwinflash. Just unrar to C: and follow the video instructions.

Funny, so I've installed windows on one rig, Win 10 Pro, especialy for Claymore 8 and my 480's and like 10 years go, Win freezes completely on a random basis Smiley

It feels like nothing has changed since XP etc Smiley

Anyone got Win10 running stable on a Z170 based Motherboard ? (Asrock Gaming K6) Ubuntu runs flawless.

Which drivers do you use ? When I'm trying to install 15.12 it just hangs at 2% for the AMD App manager

for 480 use latest driver

Yes, I'm on the latest whql driver without the hot fix, might that be the problem?
change battery to high performance ? > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-txw9u6X5FA
16 gb virtual memory ? > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkHjRKFUnNc
turn of superfetch ? > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPvOMlxLQAI

i turn into onboard mode, and freeze disappear,
but before it, no hope for it, keep freeze randomly

and lastly find intelHD driver, uninstall it if any

Thanks, will try all that

If using a z170 board good luck getting any more than 3 to run. I finally got 3 stable and will be building an open air case to put all my cards on risers and hopefully get 4 stable. The issue is resources and pcie lanes on the board. Try putting all your cards on risers and if they already are check device manager see if any say resources not available. This is most likely your issue same as mine just shit motherboards right now.

I've heard this too a few times. What's a recommended board for 1151 cpus then?

I have AsRock z170 Extreme3 only 4 card detected sometimes run over 100 hours sometimes freeze after 10 min. Try set pci express to GEN1 in BIOS disable all unused hardware like integrated VGA.
Don't buy 350$ motherboard for mining look this one http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81%20Pro%20BTC%20R2.0/ smoothly running 6 GPU, cost 60-70$, buy cheap celeron 35$ and 4GB RAM 20-25$.
Sorry my bad english...

I thought this would be the best place to ask.

In the US where is the cheapest place to buy win 10. Is the 64 bit home edition good enough?

TIA

Buy WIN 10 x64 Prof serial on aliexpress (5-10$), install original microsoft image and run without problem many monts ago, activated/updated like original no activators needed and simply upgraded to anniversary edition.

I could downvolt eth only to use ~80w stock clocks, GPU-Z (not at wall, but same card so it's relevant).  ZEC uses similar.  If you downclock to say 1000MHz instead of 1260, you get same speed on Eth (zec suffers), but you can lower voltage another 100mv or more, chopping off perhaps another 20w (haven't tested yet).

Sure you can downvolt to that extreme but your hash per watt suffers past certain points.

Anyways, good luck doing that 2 times a day per card if you're using the RX series if you're wanting to mine whatever is the most profitable.

Just FYI, on my Sapphire 470 Nitro 4Gb, I'm hashing at 150-152H/s per card with a hex offset of -162.5mV undervolt. The whole system uses around or less than 400W @ Wall, all 4 cards give me a nice and stable 600H/s. I'm currently hashing with 3 rigs at 1800H/s for 1260W, so that's a ratio of ~0.7W/H

What I noticed, is that past -150mV, you gain very little watts.

Dude, I using Sapphire RX470 4GB (not Nitro) some modded memory timings, and one give me 170-172 H/s other 4x RIGS ~ 690 H/s.

Yes, but I doubt you'll achieve that hashrate with a -162.5mv undervolt Wink. You're not mentioning your wattage @ Wall?

@Ursul0 yep, my electricity cost is quite high (I'm in Switzerland) so I'd rather hash a bit slower but use as little juice as possible. I've got some solar panels coming in though, 20x 300W panels Cheesy

No undervolt, everything stock (volt, clock, memory speed), but maybe try tomorrow...

Thx Claymore!

My
Sapphire RX 470 4GB (not Nitro) x1  from 26-32 S/s genoil to 40-42 S/s claymores
Sapphire RX 470 4GB (not Nitro) x4  from 85-105 S/s genoil to 154-160 S/s claymores

Work without rejected shares and stable in 2 hours with latest AMD driver, win 10.
GPU bios modded, some memory timings but run stock cpu and memory frec
Nanopool stats confirm the speed upgrade

Latency littlebit higher than before from 100ms to 500ms EU server nanopool but working good!
