They should close Alternate cryptocurrencies section for good
Nice idea. That way we can move to the other sections of the forum to discuss new scamalt coins and reach more people.... I don't think they can spam the other sections as much as they do here. This is rubbish and the worst thing is that it's not moderated, because we all want "freedom of speech". This anti-alt-pro-btc campaign is working very good.

Update of ELACOIN reward?the main attraction and idea behind this coin is a proportional block reward to diff, but it's chunked off at 24 difficulty. we may or may not make it to that point. to make it more attractive, i suggest we move up to unitary reward with difficulty. 1 diff = 1 coin (now). 2 diff = 2 coins. (rounded down). we'd have to AGAIN repost code for this, and coordinate a blockchain fork. i suggest we take advantage of FRC's difficulty recalculator too at the same time, if we're going to rely on diff so much. detailed here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=202250.0any thoughts? any veterans want to help manage migration to a new blockchain? (who's running elacoinpool.com btw, we have the other pool admins onside with this). this suggestion would cause absolutely nothing to occur til difficulty 2 (or 3? if we dont get this done in time for 2, not sure when the next retarg is timewise at these fluxing hashrates). everything would be exactly as it is now til difficulty 2 is hit, then it's 2 coins per block, a fair reward as is the premise of this coin (we'd still keep the 194,400 block halving scaling, unless there's a reason to change that (we've already been feeling the linear effects of it, would be fair to retain it as is) and i like the smooth scaling function vs a sudden halving. not sure the benefit of a sudden halving drop). comments? Milkshake, where are you?

Why dev dissappeared? Maybe just another scammer, someone PM'd me that it was the original poster who claimed this scammy version is the real one? Maybe just some troll sent the PM though? -MarkM- Mark how do you know if this is the real coin or not? As far as I know he mined the genesis again and launched it WITHOUT any reason to do so today. Who cares if it's today or tomorrow. But maybe this all thing was intentional. Anyway: 1) diff 0 2) no windows binary 3) no first batch with coin generated = 0 Another fail. EDIT: 4) linux client segmentation fault, this is a first

What's wrong with elacoind? It's infinitely too hard for all the point and click GUI noobs that have flocked to cryptocurrencies to get rich quick, brah. O sorry people are not so smart as you and can do CMD or Lunix or whatever you use... You want the cryptos to grow then stop being an asshole to new people. Also, FYI, most people will not figure out how to get to the command prompt. May you be bad at something and you get treated with the same respect you show the "noobs" here. it's because we learnt it, do it as well, it's not difficult, you just need to use 0.0005% of your active brain
