Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?

According google the oldest bank which exist until today there is in Siena, Italy, which has been operating continuously since 1472. In my opinion, it is difficult to eradicate from people minds the concept of bank credit; Bitcoin acceptance would be more easy to people had never create a bank account.

I can not believe that owners of the casino, real or online, have determine to lose even from the most experienced players. Casino profits are always temporal and most winners always return considering that luck will always be with them. On the contrary, calm and well informed traders have the opportunity to make a profit on a monthly basis.

First time I read about bitcoins was when broke $1000 threshold on 27 November 2013 and many people had started to speak about it. After that price crashed to $600 at Dec 2013 and I stopped concern. After Mt. Gox heist Feb 2014 start to concern more actively with it and daily active when I showed some merchants to accept it instead of fiat money for transactions

Rich countries like as countries of scandinavian peninsula, Canada, UK and US is expected to be friendly with bitcoin. On the other side small Estonia is bitcoin friendly too because is internet friendly too. So, is not strange that is called the European country miracle because does not owe anywhere.

Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How can bitcoin be legalize ?

i am very confused about this question. In my country, people rarely use bitcoin because of the government restriction. Although people are not arrested for using bitcoin, most of them do not want to open a store or a business which accept bitcoin as payment. So what should i do to develop bitcoin in my country ?
It is very difficult to spread the use of bitcoin from the moment where the attitude of your country is hostile. But certainly it will not be forever. See however and the positive side. If you travel abroad will have not to do fiat money exchange. Also, if it is allowed from your country legislation you can buy things from other countries where usage of bitcoin is permitted

This not strange. In times of economic crisis and also when the inflation of fiat currency is intense people are directed elsewhere in order to protect their savings. (eg gold). Nowadays is much more safe, quick and anonymous to buy not only bitcoins but and altcoins such as litecoins and ethereum instead of bank notes.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of BTC's blockchain being public?
|
on: November 18, 2016, 08:36:08 PM

Public blockchain not only bitcoin but Ethereum and other cryptocoins too is transparent from anyone who has internet access. This feature made almost impossible for hacking, without to be under restrictions like as capital controls. Transparency of blockchain publicity is the major advantage comparing with private one.

Many people are not only unhappy but also indignant of banks dominance around the world that affects significantly their everyday life. So the idea of a decentralized transparent and secure financial instrument had matured enough years before the first 'mining'. It was missing only the way of implementation. When the only 9 pages abstract posted in 2008 the January of 2009 first block of bitcoins was made.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 16,000,000 BTC will have been mined in a few days

If bitcoin still exist in next 30 years, and all of bitcoin are mined. What will happen next? I angered what happen if no bitcoin anymore to mine?
There is no chance that all bitcoins will be mined in the next 30 years because it is scheduled to happen May 7th, 2140 (or probably earlier). But even if all bitcoins are mined the miners will get profit from transaction fees. I agree that miners after some years will get profit only from transaction fees unless they find a way to have electricity and mining hardware with almost zero cost. But, I believe that there is another one issue. People as human beings forget or lost their private keys so somewhere in blockchain there are some blocks where the coins practically are out of circulation.

Bitcoin is the digital cryptocoin were is decentralized, easy to setup, anonymous, completely transparent, fast, very law fees in transactions (practically near zero) and most important freedom because everyone at the same time is the bank and the customer. Which of previous characteristics has a bank?

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?
|
on: November 18, 2016, 11:48:30 AM

It depends on people's preferences. For example litecoin has based in the code of bitcoin but with very quick confirmation and four times the number of coins (84 million). The peercoins the same with bitcoins but with the ability 'proof of stake' and so on. So far is clear that domination of bitcoin does not be threatened. In my opinion bitcoin will not be replaced by other currencies. Just the strongest of them will co-exist and will be exchanged according the people needs.

Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money
|
on: November 18, 2016, 11:21:37 AM

Some enthusiasts say that cryptocurrencies will bring the end of paper money. But many people especially older ones they don't feel that they have real money if they cannot hold it in their hands. Furthermore many of them feel depressed if they have not a national currency and for transactions into the same country for many people paper money is the only way. On the other side cryptocurrencies like as bitcoins gives their users speed, flexibility, transparency, security, very low fees and freedom compared to conventional money. The only sure thing, in near future, is that the rapid development of bitcoin will change the way financial credit institutions serve and behave to their customers.
