981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Circle CEO on BTC: Nobody Will Be Using Bitcoin in 5 to 10 Years on: November 21, 2016, 02:05:32 PM
I can't understand the example and the comparison of btc with netscape navigator. Someone, must reminds him that Microsoft had bought netscape and after that we have the development of Firefox. So if this comparison was not a bad joke, I think that Circle's CEO must serves another personal purposes. Wait to see.
982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: November 21, 2016, 01:42:25 PM
According google the oldest bank which exist until today there is in Siena, Italy, which has been operating continuously since 1472. In my opinion, it is difficult to eradicate from  people minds the concept of bank credit; Bitcoin acceptance would be more easy to people had never create a bank account.

I can not believe that owners of the casino, real or online, have determine to lose even from the most experienced players. Casino profits are always temporal and most winners always return considering that luck will always be with them. On the contrary, calm and well informed traders have the opportunity to make a profit on a monthly basis.

986  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you discover bitcoin? on: November 18, 2016, 10:10:05 PM
First time I read about bitcoins was when broke $1000 threshold on 27 November 2013 and many people had started to speak about it. After that price crashed to $600 at Dec 2013 and I stopped concern. After Mt. Gox heist Feb 2014 start to concern more actively with it and daily active when I showed some merchants to accept it instead of fiat money for transactions
987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Friendly Countries on: November 18, 2016, 09:49:07 PM
Here the listed bitcoin legal by country:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country
Search bitcoin business here: https://coinmap.org/

10 bitcoin friendly countries: https://news.bitcoin.com/worlds-top-10-bitcoin-friendly-countries/

Rich countries like as countries of scandinavian peninsula, Canada, UK and US is expected to be friendly with bitcoin. On the other side small Estonia is bitcoin friendly too because is internet friendly too. So, is not strange  that is called the European country miracle because does not owe anywhere.
988  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How can bitcoin be legalize ? on: November 18, 2016, 09:36:02 PM
i am very confused about this question. In my country, people rarely use bitcoin because of the government restriction. Although people are not arrested for using bitcoin, most of them do not want to open a store or a business which accept bitcoin as payment.
So what should i do to develop bitcoin in my country ?

It is very difficult to spread the use of bitcoin from the moment where the attitude of your country is hostile. But certainly it will not be forever. See however and the positive side. If you travel abroad will have not to do fiat money exchange. Also, if it is allowed from your country legislation you can buy things from other countries where usage of bitcoin is permitted
989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India is Paying $900+ for Bitcoin Amid Cash Crisis on: November 18, 2016, 09:22:37 PM
This not strange. In times of economic crisis and also when the inflation of fiat currency is intense people are directed elsewhere in order to protect their savings. (eg gold). Nowadays is much more safe, quick and anonymous to buy not only bitcoins but and altcoins such as litecoins and ethereum instead of bank notes.
990  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of BTC's blockchain being public? on: November 18, 2016, 08:36:08 PM
Public blockchain not only bitcoin but Ethereum and other cryptocoins too is transparent from anyone who has internet access. This feature made almost impossible for hacking, without to be under restrictions like as capital controls. Transparency of blockchain publicity is the major advantage comparing with private one.
991  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is the Founder of Bitcoin?! on: November 18, 2016, 08:16:03 PM
Nobody really knows if there is a man with the name 'Satoshi Nakamoto'. Many people, so do I, believe that there was a group of people with this alias. As I have read Wired and Gizmoto magazines believe that they found that this man is a 44-year old Australian citizen who admits that he is the founder of bitcoin https://www.wired.com/2015/12/bitcoins-creator-satoshi-nakamoto-is-probably-this-unknown-australian-genius/. In my opinion this idea is so innovative and complex where is difficult to believe that was the thought and implementation from a man only.
992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For what was Bitcoin created? on: November 18, 2016, 08:00:03 PM
Many people are not only unhappy but also indignant of banks dominance around the world that affects significantly their everyday life. So the idea of a decentralized transparent and secure financial instrument had matured enough years before the first 'mining'. It was missing only the way of implementation. When the only 9 pages abstract posted in 2008 the January of 2009 first block of bitcoins was made.
993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the fate of Bitcoins in the hands of government coins on: November 18, 2016, 07:08:07 PM
Not only the British Goverment but other governments make plans to develop their virtual currencies. On the other side, all of the bitcoin features are lost. That is decentralization, transparency and freedom as you are the bank. That is these will be virtual currencies but no bitcoins
994  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: November 18, 2016, 06:06:38 PM
In my opinion most important reasons are:

The most popular well known cryptocurrency with by far greater liquidity than other altcoins
Most merchants accept only bitcoin payments and no other cryptocurrencies
Newcome users in cryptocurrecy community learn and stay only in bitcoins
995  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: November 18, 2016, 05:38:30 PM
      Look please something different.

Average is not so useful as standard deviation. If we assume that this poll is a sample from all bitcoin users I put poll data in a web page http://ncalculators.com/statistics/grouped-data-standard-deviation-calculator.htm and I had that  mean=32.06, sd=11.17.

From statistics we have that a 95% confidence interval is (m-2*sd - m+2*sd). That is according poll group data 95% of bitcoin users are  between (10 - 54) years old. A more meaningful conclusion is that about 68% percent is (m-sd - m+sd), that is 21-43 years old. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confidence_interval.

996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there new people coming to Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2016, 04:28:46 PM
Ι think people are skeptical, not easy to change habits and the way they transact in everyday life especially if they are old enough, and not informed concerning the advantages of bitcoin. Also, we have to see how many worldwide have access to the Internet. Around 40% of the world population has an internet connection today http://www.internetlivestats.com/internet-users/ Otherwise how they will join the bitcoin community community?
997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 16,000,000 BTC will have been mined in a few days on: November 18, 2016, 04:12:56 PM
If bitcoin still exist in next 30 years, and all of bitcoin are mined. What will happen next? I angered what happen if no bitcoin anymore to mine?

There is no chance that all bitcoins will be mined in the next 30 years because it is scheduled to happen May 7th, 2140 (or probably earlier). But even if all bitcoins are mined the miners will get profit from transaction fees.

I agree that miners after some years will get profit only from transaction fees unless they find a way to have electricity and mining hardware with almost zero cost. But, I believe that there is another one issue. People as human beings forget or lost their private keys so somewhere in blockchain there are some blocks where the coins practically are out of circulation.
998  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: November 18, 2016, 03:50:46 PM
Bitcoin is the digital cryptocoin were is decentralized, easy to setup, anonymous, completely transparent, fast, very law fees in transactions (practically near zero) and most important freedom because everyone at the same time is the bank and the customer. Which of previous characteristics has a bank?
999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 18, 2016, 11:48:30 AM
It depends on people's preferences. For example litecoin has based in the code of bitcoin but with very quick confirmation and four times the number of coins (84 million). The peercoins the same with bitcoins but with the ability 'proof of stake' and so on. So far is clear that domination of bitcoin does not be threatened. In my opinion bitcoin will not be replaced by other currencies. Just the strongest of them will co-exist and will be exchanged according the people needs.
1000  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 18, 2016, 11:21:37 AM
Some enthusiasts say that cryptocurrencies will bring the end of paper money. But many people especially older ones they don't feel that they have real money if they cannot hold it in their hands. Furthermore many of them feel depressed if they have not a national currency and for transactions into the same country for many people paper money is the only way.

On the other side cryptocurrencies like as bitcoins gives their users speed, flexibility, transparency, security, very low fees and freedom compared  to conventional money. The only sure thing, in near future, is that the rapid development of bitcoin will change the way financial credit institutions serve and behave to their customers.
