1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin during pandemics on: Today at 10:11:07 AM
During pandemic bitcoin always drop and look like don't strong how to back with higher price, maybe pandemic of corona virus have make bitcoin and altcoin gone or bitcoin moment have over, how ever we need time after pandemic end then give chance for bitcoin back to higher price always.

Really? This is Bitcoin's first experience of a pandemic, so come on, let's not make any assumptions when we have no previous proof of this. Besides, if the pandemic is really responsible why are we trading at $7000 right now and not $1000?

We have to use good and sound arguments not just pick out random predictions.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re:$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: Today at 08:50:27 AM
Honestly nobody really imagined it would be between $6k-$6.5k because it started out with close to $10k but look where we are right now. Of course, at the end of the gambling period it dropped and a lot of people actually gambled to stop it however it looks like they haven't really caught up with the big guns once again. I personally gambled on the $8-$8.5k one but I got wrong as well.

The April month could be very very wild as well, I do not see it going too crazy but I do see it doing a lot of volatility as well. For example, we will have the halving during MAY month which means may will be even crazier but at the same time there could be huge changes during April in order to prepare for the halving as well. I don't know what will really happen but I do know that it will not end here.

Which just goes to show how bitcoin is capable of surprising everyone consistently, every month, not to say every three months! Problem is, no one saw this chain of events happening. Even the bears who looked at TA saw it strictly from market perspective, not from global economic perspective. So everyone was surprised here.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gamification Works in the iGaming Industry? on: Today at 08:16:18 AM
Gamification is something that is a broad term, there is levels for example in many casinos as a VIP, now in any sense of the word you can assume that us gamification but honestly is using "level" word enough for gaminification? You can say premium vip and it wouldn't sound like one, you can say diamond vip and wouldn't sound like one, but as soon as you say level 2 vip that sounds like gamification.

There are other stuff like that but I still think it is not really too much gamification around crypto casino world. In the outside world you can see websites that are doing this better, it allows you to earn experience points, allows you to get higher levels, allows you to spend the points you earn on stuff that will get you further as well, basically all around much better implementation.

Interesting take. I actually remember discussing before and saying things like Gold, Silver, Executive makes it sound like more businesslike, whereas saying Levels are more akin to gambling and gaming, which makes people really want to go higher. On CGN they use "military" ranking like Private and Sergeant and that's also definitely gamification to me.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade and make a profit in a Volatile market on: Today at 06:46:35 AM
Does anyone else wonder what the difference is with this perpetual swap and other futures? I mean, this just looks like Forex markets, where you can also sell and return it when you want to short, or buy outright, and depending on which, earn interest. Don't know why this is a fancy product, you can do that with any other platform right?
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcointalk SwC Championship Poker Series(50 mBtc added by SwC) on: April 05, 2020, 10:27:09 AM
Thanks for the good game everybody! I believe we are playing with real poker players in this tournament, unlike all the ones I usually play at, this one we actually see people playing properly. Which is why I got KO so fast;) Enjoy the winnings guys!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: April 05, 2020, 09:06:26 AM
Koinpro looks good, but I experience something unpleasant when playing bonus balance of 15 $ that they provide, when the conditions have been met the balance that I have played cannot be drawn in withdrawal because my ip has detected withdrawn even though I just tried it, maybe this happened because of  ISP. I use it does not provide many ip options so it is used by other users, but this project I think is good, it's just that I don't know why signature campaign not available so I chose joined leasehold signature campaign.

This again goes back to the advice I keep giving people. It's not so much about the campaign but about the product itself. I'm glad you tried it yourself and saw whether you liked it or not. The service you promote has to be something you use and love. Otherwise it's pointless.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 JAN 2021 BTC WILL HIT 100K$ on: April 05, 2020, 07:59:57 AM
If you look at the market now, you can see that now everything is not good and that Bitcoin can not grow even to $ 10,000, so do not even think that Bitcoin can grow to $ 100k until 2021.

Everything is not good? I don't know, seems to me Bitcoin has been good every year. And to be fair even some alts, good progress, good development, good uptake and adoption. Price will always be something in the background if you're not a pure speculator, and then you realize there's so much good going on it has to improve over time.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Proof that game is not provably fair. on: April 05, 2020, 07:22:22 AM
Ah newbies. People who don't understand house edge and probability should never ever gamble. Strange though that even though I was a newbie at gambling all those years ago as a teen, I didn't get house edge but I did get probability. And he whines after losing a whole 30 cents!

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIR DROPS ! wasting time or not? on: April 04, 2020, 10:59:10 AM
I'm still Earning from Airdrops, mind you not just any Airdrops, I guess that's where many don't get it, you can't just go on a websites and start joining Airdrops, you still need to do some research on the project just like when you want to promote a bounty project
Yes, because not all Airdrops are profitable, so research is needed before following it, and it is clearly the same as someone who wants to join a bounty, which must do research first before doing promotion on the project.

But is the research worthwhile? I think it's not just about researching potential, it's also a lot about actually backing a project you understand, one you also could love and one you believe in. That's part of the success in the end, a community that actually believes and loves it. Can't survive without that these days right?Smiley
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 04, 2020, 10:17:29 AM
Allegri newcastle? I initially thought he would be the good one to take over either Chelsea or even Manchester United but since those two decided to stick with their old boys I guess Newcastle isn't a bad deal either. Don't see how though they couldn't stick with Benitez and swapped for another Brit, why would they take Allegri?
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 04, 2020, 08:59:42 AM
I am sure some players with poor money management will run bankrupt soon due to the salary cuts  Cheesy
It is their personal decision to take a pay cut (for those players who have agreed to it), it cannot be forced in then by the club as they are on contracts that span a specific duration of time, and I don't think incidences like a pandemic would be included in the fine print.

So if they personally agree to a pay cut, then they should be certain that their finances would not be hit too hard. While they may be extravagant, they would have investments. In actual fact most of what they lavish money on are investments; the houses and jewelries etc. So I think they will come out just fine.

You know what, I can respect all the players who've agreed to a pay cut, like those at Barca (that's why I love you guys a lot!) but you know what? I can also respect players who don't want to take a pay cut. Everyone has a right to a salary and their clubs should understand that. Freedom of personal choice.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Role of the crypto in the incoming global crisis on: April 04, 2020, 08:17:13 AM
That is what they are planning to do by issue "central crypto in the future" but bitcoin is going to serve as digital gold. We are going to see surge in the bitcoin pricing. I strongly believe that that along the way bitcoin is going to be favour by traders and institutional investors. I see governments reducing their war against the cryptocurrencies as the paper money has failed us.

Bitcoin pricing surges so what? It will only be the natural lifespan of Bitcoin like any other deal. We haven't really seen a crisis during bitcoin times to know what will happen, this is the benchmark. We'll find out how it goes but I suspect it's only a temporary effect, we'll need 2 or 3 more crises to find out how bitcoin will always react, if it does.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mouth work wonders in crypto on: April 03, 2020, 02:43:36 PM
Wonderworking mouths are now scarce in crypto space because people are much wiser these days unlike 2017 when anyone could say something and we will just see 100% growth or more. One person I see doing that, for now, is CZ, when he tweets of listing an already existing coin o binance or through community vote for listing, and when he gives an update about WRX development.

Nope, not really. Take a look at all the spam I get in my email telling me I can feature my project in 8 podcasts for 2 minutes each, for only 28K USD. That is so crazy, so people are willing to pay 3.5k per 2 minutes slot on a podcast, and all those podcasts are supposed to be non-shills but come on. Who doesn't want thousands of dollars for a few minutes of their time?
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Yohann's Sports Picks at High Odds on: April 03, 2020, 12:48:49 PM
I have to say I'm a bit disappointed to see that your first 3 picks were just at 2.x and even some are below 2.x. High odds to me is AT LEAST 3x. Because 2x basically just means 50/50, even game, whereas even 3x just means slight favorite and only 2 outcomes.

You should change your odds title to medium odds;)
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: April 03, 2020, 12:01:51 PM
Yes, we have seen this type of downfall from 2018 to till date, which many people afraid a lot previously that bitcoin will decrease its price below 1000$. Even now people are predicting the price of Bitcoin will go below 2000$ and this makes many people panic about the current situation, but people should understand it is an opportunity to grab the Bitcoin at low value.

That's hilarious.!! Cheesy I mean in which point people think like that. Who are those people actually..? Cheesy I heard/saw sometimes too but they never explain properly why they think like that. I think they are just attention seeker nothing else and my advise will be stay away from those people. Everyone knows that crypto/btc market is much sensitive than other marketplace but crypto or btc ain't created for gone it's created because people need that for good and it'll survive in bad situation like others currency do.

Normal people, regular people? If you look at the scene, people are people (and even I admit I am a regular guy) and the thing with regular people like us is we all have our limits of logic. When things get bad, we think worse, it's psychological. IF 6k is the price, we think 5k is possible. If 3.8k is the price, we think 1k is possible, why not?
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL HODL HODL...AND BUY MORE on: April 03, 2020, 10:56:29 AM
Hold but learn to take profit at times. We still need to spend our bitcoins like to use for digital payments. Accumulate during dip and sell at peak price, its not hard if you have a plan to follow and has patience to not be tempted to sell in times the market is consistently declining like what happened recently. Those who can stand seeing the price turnng ups and down are likely the one to gain huge when the time comes the market turn to bull.

Probably the best advice for most people. In the small times that I did trade (yes, we all went there didn't we?) I at least had the sense to try and take my investment back when my alts went 2x. Except for the long term holds I held onto (LTC Monero BTC of course) I sort of wish I did but still no regrets.

So yeah I have a lot of bags. But 90% of them I got my investment back so Even Stevens they say.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi never used bitcointalk: Craig Wrigth on: April 03, 2020, 08:57:51 AM
Unfortunately, we mostly think journalists laugh at him and people just brush him off? I thought so too at some point, but I happened to come into a room where everyone was seriously just defending him and some even praying for him. Meanwhile buying up BCH. Sadly, some of them even actually seemed intelligent, for sure more technically than me.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will only the best survive? on: April 03, 2020, 08:26:05 AM
Well I certainly hope so! I thought 2018 and 2019 would kill off everything but the best but there's still plenty of shitcoin floating around refusing to die, and worse, even more joining them every week. Tokens created in 10 minutes, projects drawn up by paying Fiverrr people 5 dollars. Seriously, this shit needs to disappear for everything to come back stronger.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to try yourself in trading and investing on the crypto. on: April 02, 2020, 02:08:04 PM
Sorry to say but there is no new methods to earn in crypto space yet, it's all same old ways like Airdrops and Bounties but saying it's not possible to earn from bounties is discouraging, in 2018 and 2019 many bounty hunters still manages to make good money
I think there are new ways to be honest, but I haven't tried them all and don't really have any interest now. I'll still do the occassional gambling bonus or the prize to try new stuff/giveaways but only for fun, never to "trade and invest". Now I just focus on my job and get the bitcoin I can get while I can.
