Samehere, i sold part of my coins for emergency purpose but I left some sufficient amount of coins for long term hold. I also occasionally trade some of my coins whenever I have free time. I think bitcoin and other cryptocyrrencies might suffer more declines this year  before going up again. I sell only when I badly need a money and that money often come from the result my trades.

Nobody can see or predict what will happen in the future but I hope that this year will be different than the previous year and the market will be more positive. Bitcoin is still a young currency and I believe it still has the potential to reach another all-time high in the future along with the other cryptocurrencies. What can I do now is to prepare and then monitor the market often for continued update in the prices of the cryptocurrencies and tokens.

The launching of BAKKT is possible in this quarter but the bitcoin ETF is yet to be decided by SEC and there is still no assurance of its approval early this year. These developments may have really the potential to trigger another wave of  large bitcoin buying by the whales but this rally will not last long and turn into dump later. Uncertainty still cloud the market and we had to wait some clearer signs of future uptrends.

The price of the leading cryptocurrencies are in decline again after several days of positive growth with bitcoin's leading the way as usual. I believe that bitcoin may not achieve a strong growth this year but it might be slightly better than last year for the cryptocurrency market. Some known altcoins  and tokens are poised for uptrend this year because of their upcoming update or fork soit is better to research them and buy them if money is available.

There are many good and quality coins in the cryptomarket and each of them has the potential to go up more in the future. Some traders believes that the top coins in the coinmarketcap had more price uptrends to come than the coins in lower list. I think having an active developer will also make the future of the coin better because they continue to find ways to improve its feature.

This year started on a positive belief of many traders and investors hoping that 2019 will be better than last year. I also believe that there will be an improvement in the cryptomarket this year but Istill doubt if bullrun will happen this year because factors that needed to start a bullrun is not yet present. The adoption of some cryptocurrencies like bitcoin will continue to progress as more merchants are planning to use it in their payment option.

I agree because majority of the people around the world still prefers fiat over cryptocurrencies because they are more convenient at it. People need time to study the use of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin before they start using it. This new technology is more risky and more volatile than the ordinary fiat or money that they've been using and it also requires knowledge in internet to be able to perform a transaction.

I alsobelieve that regulation will eventually imposed by majority of the governments in the future. There are only few governments that banned bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their respective countries but I believe they will eventuall open up to the new kind of currency that is getting more popular worldwide. Those countries that won't allow cryptocurrencies might stil studying the possible impact of new kind of currency in their national currency and their economy.

Ethereum is back on its former rank in the coinmarketcap formerly held by XRP last year. The hold of ethereum in the secind place might be strengthened if its upcoming forks boost its price further. More people seem to be buying ethereum these days because of its price uptrend in recent weeks and many considered it as a sign for more price appreciations in the coming days.

Venezuela started it with their government-issued virtual currency or called Petro but many considered it as a failure because it is not widely accepted or used by its own people. The plan of other countries to issue their virtual currency in the future will surely many challenges and their no assurance that it will be accepted like the leading cryptocurrencies. Wealthy nations like the US might successfully launch their own crypto when they pegged its price to their own globally used currency, the dollar.

Hold my coins mire before selling it because there is a possibility of strong price uptrend in the first half of this year. Low price but quality altcoins are still abound so I hace also to buy some of them in the coming days. I believe that this is the best time to buy bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies while they are still affordable because there is a possibility that some coins might go up in the coming weeks.

Both of them are good for investment for trading or long term investment and they are already proven to recover after some price declines. If you have enough funds then go for diversification instead of only one coin to avoid total loss in your investment. The prices of ethereum and bitcoin shows uptrends during the first week of January and many investors'confidence might be returning.

Returning to $1000 is unlikely this year because it will take more time before it happen again. The upcoming hardfork of ethereum might temporarily rise its price up but it may decline after the fork is done. I think ethereum growth can still reach another height in the years to come after its update to ethereum 2.0 next year and I also believe there will be more DAPP projects that may support its goals.

There are many good altcoins in the market that can be use to both trading and long term investment. Even during bear market, the price of some altcoins go up against the price of bitcoin. These altcoins are good for scalping or daytrading and you can still earn profits from them whatever the situation of the market. Not all altcoins are good, many of them are called shitcoins or fakecoins so you have to make a research first to find the right coin.

Their fears might be a result from zero or little knowledge on cryptocurrencies and its market but if you are already a pro, you're no longer afraid on any kinds of market situation because you already know what to do. Those who are afraid on buying bitcoin particularly during bear market need to learn some basic education on cryptocurrency first  before buying any coin. I've bought bitcoin during bear market and used it for my long term investment because I believe it will go up again in the future.

I think 2019 is more on recovery mode and further accumulation before it finally take off. If you compare this year to 2018, the situation will be better and more positive. But I doubt if a major price rally happen will happen this year because it at least a couple of years before another bulkrun happen. I can only hope that this year there will be less bear market than last year.

I always prefer to diversify my own portfolio when it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies. It is safer than investing only in one coin because not all altcoins will have the same price situation when market go down. Prices of some altcoins are still going up even there is a bear market so it is better to buy sone select coins instead of all in.

That will be a big possibility in the future because some the countries already planning to develop their own virtual coin and Venezuela is the first country to issue their own cryptocurrency. Big country like the US have also an option to create a cryptodollar to coexist with their own fiat dollar and this two currency will eventually boost the US economy.

Prediction or speculation are always part of any trading but since the price of cryptocurrencies are unpredictable, no one can exactly predict what will happen in the days to come. I'd rather be keep updated by monitoring the crypto market constantly than relying on any kinds of prediction. Technical and fundamental analysis can also be helpful in tracking a future price of a cryptocurrency.
