421  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: July 21, 2017, 10:13:24 PM
bitcoin is too safer and secure and its transaction is very faster and bitcoin transaction fees is very lower.

The bitcoin block size is small, the transaction traffic is congested. So it will not be used widely by the ordinary people in the future as the fee is too high.

That is my concern as well. I am afraid that the bitcoin will be replaced by other popular fast digital coins in the future.

Right, we do not know what will really happen in the future. Generally speaking, crypto currencies and not just bitcoin, are getting more and more popular these days. We are not sure if bitcoin will be the number 1 crypto currency in the future. There are many crypto currencies that exists and it just happen that bitcoin is more popular than the others. We can not guarantee that, the modern technology advances as the time goes by and we do not know if someday a new crypto that is better than bitcoin will exist. But I am sure that the replacement will not be that easy, there are many bitcoin users now and if ever a new crypto appears, I am sure that it will not easily beat bitcoin.

Compared to cash, bitcoin are more convenient to use for online transactions and also that its volatility had made many people to earn and gain profit at higher prices. Cash can't do that, this is why, many people including me would prefer to have and invest in bitcoin.

423  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: July 16, 2017, 06:25:00 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

the benefit are obvious aren't they? by holding your bitcoin become more valuable, and without doing nothing you could be rich!, what you want more than this? only gold offer this same thing but gold is going anywhere anymore, bitcoin has a very potential to go 10x or 100x in 10 years, i'm all for bitcoin

Yeah, Bitcoin has great potential and can emerge as one of the best security with time.

It is because of  the volatility of the price that many people are holding or keeping their bitcoin in their wallet. If you have wallet and bitcoin on that, you must know how it works. The volatility is good especially if it is pumping, with just storing bitcoin, the wallet acts as a bank that you can always monitor and see for yourself its value.

Saving bitcoin for a long time is really beneficial especially if its rate is going up. Recently, there is a huge dump happening in bitcoin's price. It sounds alarming but I believe that this had happened before and that bitcoin would rise again.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AICOIN ICO:: Building Wealth Thru AI & the Power of the Blockchain on: July 16, 2017, 05:54:54 PM
This project is still running ?
This project is still running. If you were doubtful due to my post, I have been communicating via E-Mail. They are simply very busy right now, thus answers on BTCTalk can be delayed.
While with every ICO there are risks involved, I do feel that this project's modalities and the general idea can prove to be quite profitable indeed. I'm a Mathematician myself who specializes in Statistics, so I know very well about the potentials that the approach of AiCoin has.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with AiCoin in any way or form other than doing translations for them. I am not currently invested due low liquidity, but will be investing in the future.

It would have been great if you were able to join this campaign. I noticed how well you supported this ICO and how well interested you are at AICoin. I also believe in this ICOs projects, it is new and is fresh. With the advancement of technology, I think having AIcoin will be of great use.
425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: July 16, 2017, 05:23:13 PM
You only need little experience in every game just to know what are you doing. Everything else is just luck.
Is it interesting to play with one, but not having another? It would be very funny to watch the game with luck, With minimal knowledge.

Experience does matter in playing a game. Not all gambling games are based on luck like the card games. One example is the poker game, it is important to know the basics of the game but I believe that having experience in playing it will be an advantage in beating your opponents. A minimal knowledge is okay but isn't it more effective if you understand how the game works and you know some methods and tricks to play the game?

After all, it is your goal to win and beat the opponents hopefully and without fully relying on luck.
426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: July 16, 2017, 04:20:52 PM
The thought that you're earning/winning money even if the truth is you've already lost money makes you come back. It's just like your mind is tricking you that it's the easiest and fastest way to earn money. Imagine it only takes seconds to end a bet. And in just one bet it all depends to you on how much you will win. Greed and hope I guess makes it hard for people to quit gambling.

I agree with that, many people thinks that they will gain profit in gambling when the reality shows that there are more losses than winnings. Gambling might be the way to earn in an easiest and fastest way but it is not. Gambling will just encouraged you to come back again and play for you to recover your losses until you get addicted to it.

Gambling indeed is a very fun and exciting game, but sometimes people who are just playing for fun is a possible target of addiction. Every person is different but we all know how we can be weak when we see someone who have won big in a game.
427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: July 16, 2017, 02:35:10 PM
Oh yeah, gambling is really exciting. Sometimes you even feel like that before gambling, you can't wait till you can end your work and gamble a bit, sadly this is sign of addiction. You also feel very nice after you win, even if it's small amount,  i guess this is second reason why we gamble - first reason is because we can win  money from gambling.

It is really exciting just because I still have money that I can afford to gamble. Sometimes I use a small amount but for some rare occasion , I might be too overboard sometimes but it is addicting for me and Im still teying hard to figure out the best way to stop gambling for myself
if you still enjoying the activity i guess it will be hard for you to find the best way to stop, since sell will should take place to really achieved and quit this habits, i'm sure that enjoyment is the big reason why you became addicted better to look for some extra activities to divert attentions.

Many gamblers can find comfort in gambling, just like gamers who experienced relief whenever they are playing. Playing gambling can also remove stress, it feels like a different world from where a gambler suffers hardships like office. A world that is full of bright lights, exciting and fun games and challenges. Feeling excited when playing helps to release the stress that he is feeling and will look for that whenever he is stressed and tired from work.

I also think that gambling is very addictive because it challenges the player to beat the house. We all know how hard it is to do that. It also challenges to play as long as he can and as long as he can afford it.
428  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is so volatile right now! Why should I even hold? on: July 16, 2017, 02:05:09 PM
Well every market i think the price is really volatile, but when you see it in a long term period you will see if dumping or pumping, markets are usually designed for long term purposes and i believe holding on it will surely make you a winner in the future.

If you have been in this industry for a long time, experiencing pumping and dumping in the market values will look normal for you. Volatility is the main characteristic of the crypto currencies and if you are not aware of this, the dump happening in the bitcoin price today might be stressing you out already. The dump and pump in the price is like watching a movie. There are scenes which are tearful and there are scenes that are joyful that can get you carried away with it and get you emotional.

Many are asking whether it is time to sell or it will be worth to hold because of the news about splitting and segwit. What I think is, if we are going to be emotional about what is happening it might affect our thinking. Instead of thinking wisely, we might end up making decisions that are not necessary.

429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: @Philippines An addicted gambler gone wild on: July 16, 2017, 01:08:00 PM
This is no joke that 42 year old has a bank debt worth 4 million and being addicted to gambling is wrong but getting addicted to gambling with someone else funds is surely not acceptable. I don't really know how will the vank recover their funds but all gamblers please gamble with your own funds not with a loan
Gambling is just a way to keep on spending hence I am not wondering on seeing how big his debts are. When a gambler, goes out of control, we may see this type of stories happening. Getting into gambling is not a big mistake but getting addicted to it must be a lifetime mistake.

If you do that mistake then recovering from that mistake will never be possible that is the reason many gamblers are committing suicide.

Gambling has ruined a lot of lives and this is not the first time we see someone take his own life for the sake of a quick get out of all of this debt in gambling. Only thing that get this worst is that how he is bold with his actions. Attacking a casino that cause other people to die is really incapable of being fully understood by us. Only the gambler can answer to all his action. Unfortunately, we will not find out as he is already dead.

Right, if a person is not careful and did not manage to avoid getting addicted in the game it is possible for him to be a very dangerous person. I have watched many news reports about gamblers who have lost their mind and have committed dangerous acts resulting to their own deaths. Having many debts and thinking how could they managed to solve all of their problems had made them a very unreasonable people.

What happened in the Philippines proved that even innocent lives can be taken if an addicted gambler does an immoral action for his own sake. With the death of the gambler, his family is the one who is suffering from all of his bad actions. I could hardly imagine that his kids are being bullied because of what he did.
430  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will up. dont worrry on: July 16, 2017, 12:37:38 PM
The price will be falling till 1st Aug and then may be after that it may settle down . The. There will be a buying opportunity .

After that might be the price may again soar with some good. Was coming from big countries which will help to increase the BTC prices .

Right, it is possible that bitcoin's price will continue to fall until August 1 and we can feel that now. Ever since the news of splitting and segwit was announced, it had greatly affect all of the crypto currencies prices. Panic selling is happening because they are afraid that their bitcoin would disappear. There is no assurance that after August 1, bitcoin will eventually go back to $2000 and many people are exclaiming how much their wealth was decreased.

This situation seems an advantage for those who can afford to buy bitcoin at its dump price but a problem for those who needs to cash out money at this time.
431  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 16, 2017, 12:06:25 PM
When the internet is used many people certainly many opportunities that we can use to get more money. Anything we can do for example write a blog filled with ads, making videos, offering image editing capabilities and so forth.

Right, the internet is full of many things that you can turn into money. There are many jobs offered online where you can earn money without the need of leaving your home. The modern technology had enable us to figure things out and to challenge ourselves to fully utilize its use. It is up to us now how we are going to do it, morally or immorally.

Another thing, there are many sites that offers many freelance jobs where we can choose from depending on our skills and knowledge.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: July 15, 2017, 07:23:34 AM
Why not there will surely be a sport that you will watch and overtime some people have the ability to guess who the winner will be easily, if you know any sport  start betting with less amount in starting and if you are able to win slowly increase the betting amount you will surely start making profit. Never go all in in any match even if you are 100% sure keep the maximum amount 50% of your funds

If the person is a newbie he won't have the ability to guess the winners yet, this person won't have a good prediction about it, so I think you mean it's not good for newbies, but it's good if a newbie watch the sport for some time and when he get enough experience on it he can start gambling. So he won't be a newbie anymore, he would turn himself into a skilled sport's predictor.

I think OP mentioned above is people may be a newbie to gambling, but they might have known some sports well from the beginning so even though they are a newbie to gambling still they can go for betting with small amounts. But as per me whether your experienced or newbie to gambling still your end results depend on your luck because their many unknown things can happen in any sports.

With good information and knowledge that you know on the sports, you can decrease your chance to lose on your bet though. I agree that sports betting also need a luck though. Actually newbie is not recommend to gambling, i mean they don't have any clue about this thing. It's better to look first.

Yeah, it is not recommended for newbies to do gambling at first. It is possible that they might get addicted immediately especially if they do not know something about it or maybe how it works. It will be much better and wiser if they will study first about bitcoin and try to understand things in crypto world like how bitcoin works, where is it for and etc. if they already know the basics then studying investing and trading is a good choice.

If they wants to earn through this digital currency, they can already start joining signature campaigns and altcoins. Anyways, they can study things and learn new things at the same time.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: July 15, 2017, 06:52:15 AM
I think that bitcoin will fall even lower. So maybe now it needs to be sold, then to buy even more bitcoins cheaper.

I don't think so, I believe bitcoin will become even stronger these days. The price is quite good already and as long it will remain good at $2,00 there's no need to sell or think that it will go lower. Maybe it can go lower, there will always be a chance but I'm not think about it because I'm always being optimistic when it comes to crypto.
After all theres nothing to worry about ,bitcoins will bounce back and possible to have a new ATH price .Hold your bitcoins and keep safe your private keys . Holding in the future if you have a good amount of bitcoins can make you rich .

It is going to bounce back for sure, we don't have to panic and do the hype of selling our bitcoins. We are just giving those whales more time to buy a lot of bitcoins from their early profit when the price was at peak and they just sold. Most of the people that are panicking now are the newbies or new investors that has a thought of fear for this upcoming fork.

Right, I also believe in bitcoin and even if its price go down I will take it as an advantage to buy bitcoin. I have been saving in case something like this happen. These news and announcements about the split really got me worried for days. I was torn between deciding if I am going to hold or sell all of it. In the end, I decided that I’ll divide it and I have converted some in to fiat money. In case the split bring unlikely happenings. I still have cash and I still have bitcoin.
In the meantime, I decided to withdraw some of the fiat, not because of the split but because I needed some money.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 15, 2017, 06:22:19 AM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?

Nope, bitcoin is not a job that is concern with production, construction, and rehabilitation of a community or a country. Bitcoins may be a opportunity for alternative source of income but not a real job that concerns the government. It is up to people if they will make it as a primary or secondary source but employment will never be affected because it is a need also of the country.

I agree with that, bitcoin’s price suddenly increased in April thus causing many people to get interested in bitcoin and making it so popular. Earning bitcoin is a good source of income and it gives the convenience of not needing to go in an office, to dress up, to have a boss and etc., it enables you to earn money while at home.

Indeed, earning bitcoin should not be treated like a real job concerning the government but I know some people who chose to go full-time in bitcoin and they have been earning money larger than a normal employee’s salary.  Bitcoin is a good source of income but even if many people are earning bitcoin, their number won’t affect the rate of unemployed people
435  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: July 15, 2017, 12:39:30 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
Well, I think it’s better to invest it in online because if you really want to gain a high income invests it but it took time to wait. In addition to that, if you save in your money in bank I think you could get income but it depends on the interest of the bank. Lastly, the best thing that you could do is to invest it and after that save more money for the future.

I would also choose investing instead of saving. It is wise to use your money in investing, a practical thinker is like that. Money, while at storage can also give profit and that is investing. There are many options for someone to invest, online, banks, gold and etc. It is up to you if which method you prefer.

What I do is, I have an investment in the bank ( for my future purposes ) and I am also planning to invest online. I know some people who invested online and it had caused them good. If you really have the money then maybe you can also try investing for real estates and gold.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 15, 2017, 12:06:21 AM
Didn't know if hard fork was happening or whatever it is, segwitx2. What will happen? Will it cause bitcoin's price drop? I think I'll sell all bitcoins and will buy them after that.

Who is sure will it happen or not? Just speculations about it, no one will know before it happen probably. But if hard fork happen I will probably buy some of that coins from chain split, if not then everything will be like its now, but with faster transactions I hope and reasonable fees. I'm not especially afraid from all this, bitcoin is in stage when upgrades are desperately needed, experts have difrent opinions about segwit, confronted opinions are everywhere around the net and except hoping for the best whst can do more we ordinary bitcoin users.

Nobody knows that if a split will take place for bitcoin. Even the people who've been experienced in bitcoin for more than 6-7 years.

Check below:

Right, panicking won’t do any good. Instead of thinking about what will happen in August 1, I’d rather search to understand what is happening in the crypto currency world. It is also much better to be updated for important announcements.

Many people who have been in the bitcoin industry for years says that it can be ignored but for safety measures, just follow the advice given by the moderators which is to secure your bitcoin. The split that is said to take place in August 1 is really bothering and worrisome. We should remain calm to avoid making unnecessary decisions.
437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make sure you don't lose money on: July 14, 2017, 11:15:53 PM
Don't play ganblingh id you don't want to lose your money but if you control your aelf to be balance then you can get back what you've already lose and grt another chance to grow it again many people are agreesive to chase their loses from gambling and lose and lose again.
I agree , There is no way you cant lose your money in gambling its just earning and regaining process in gambling. Loosing is a nature of gambling , If you dont want to lose dont risk your money in it. Chasing your lost money can cause you more losses.
The only way not to lose money is not to play in any gambling website however all earning from trading and investments you need to risk a little bit but in gambling there are times that you can lose your money is just a minute and in trading you need patient there to have an good profit and good income return not just by chasing your money and start loosing more.
I agree with this, there are times that you can win in gambling but it is not enough for you to take back of what you have lost. Risking your money in gambling is not worth the risk, i suggest you invest your money and do some trading to earn more profit than playing gamble. Both have risk but gambling is not so worthy specially if you are inexperienced gamblers.

Investing and trading is a gamble too, an amount of money is at stake. But those two are worth the risk than playing gambling. If someone really wants to earn then he must allot his money in those methods rather than using it for gambling. Many people had been thinking that they could earn money through gambling, they mistakenly took gambling to be a source of income when in the reality, it could just give them financial problems.

Gambling could be fun but there is no fun when you are always losing in the game. I know that it is impossible not lose money but we can try avoiding it or try not losing money for unimportant things.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: July 14, 2017, 10:44:53 PM
When you guys are gambling and already doubled your bankroll, do you still play with the whole money you got or you take away half of your bankroll and start playing with your profit or not?

For me yes because I won't lose anything. I'm betting only my profit and what if it doubles again. The only downside for this is it will makes me more and more greedy everytime I win. So I will set a profit goal to know when will I stop but if I lose that profit then it's just okay.

No,  it's not a good choice to do and you may lose everything and that's proven that gambling will end up failure due to more probable losses will happen. The profit you have can be saved and hold for long term and don't ever think that you will be able to llay fun of your money and generate better profit from paticipating in gambling, certainly it's a big no. Emotions from being loser in the gambling bets could not be avoided, and emotional stress can be so difficult to control; so better hold that profit and invest for the future.

I agree with that, I gamble for a year and the number that I have loss in the game is more than the number of my winnings. Whenever I earn an amount, small or big, I stop as soon as possible because I would like to take home my winnings.

Yes, @Redx is right that if you play with your profit there is nothing loss in you because you already have your capital again but I do really think that it will be much better to stand up and go home with a contentment in the face. It will be wiser to be contented after winning and keep the money, anyways, there are others day that you could play again.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: Your plans for 1st august? on: July 13, 2017, 10:48:10 PM
What are your plans currently and what are you planning to do before this date? sell everything? hodl no matter what? maybe try to profit from a chain split? I'm personally still confused and I'm not sure what to do, I prefer waiting to see what is the standpoint of more exchanges and services.
I'm nervous about the news, the incoming august 1. I don't have any idea what could be happen after the split. I asked my others friends about this, and other want to hold their bitcoin based on their experience but me? I want to sell! I'm a beginner in the market of bitcoin, so my hardship in bitcoin wants to result a sure income. I want to sell my bitcoin then make a business to make sure that I have an income every day or every months. Then if bitcoin is there after august 1, I continue to earn/generate this for more income.
440  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: July 13, 2017, 09:58:23 PM
You can't print paper money without the specific material to do it... Cryptocurrency is a whole new revolution!
Right, this would be the advantage of bitcoin in other currecy which have a fiat. Because it can earn/generate through online that will result another income for the other. With the price more user are interesting, it is because on their just small amount of money they have a chances to get a big profit. This idea will help to encourage other people to use this/earn or use as a business. It is hard to happen, many fiat are used by people that are most demand than bitcoin and already accepted by stores.
