fb creating own crypto isn't impossible. i think they are studying crypto for years now.  they might follow wechat and alipay systems of china.

altcoins tend to change more every moments while bitcoin tends to be more stable.  when you don't have much time to monitor everyday changes for price swings, just buy bitcoin and hold.  on the other hand, if you have much time to monitor every hour prices and want to learn and experience the real trading, you can buy altcoin and you will find great opportunities to earn money.

i read that article about china legalizing blockchain evidence, and what came first to my mind is deepvault.  before, i didn't realize the importance and application of deepvault, now i do.  in china, there's apparently a blockchain called "bauguan" that resembles deepvault - as i saw in the article provided above.

neo is the so called ethereum of china. and when chinese are involved, nobody can argue about the size of the community it can bring.  i see neo being the standard blockchain to be developed in the coming days. lots of chinese will support it. moreover, i believe neo has better technology compared to ethereum. it will take time to reach where ethereum is now, but this also means now is a good time to invest in neo.

technologywise, i think tron has advantage being a newer developed blockchain. but ripple has advantage of having bigger community. i think it will become a matter of who will have a bigger support base.

wow good news from the big boss deeper.  i wonder what's that about something big is coming (probably on the 1st deeponion anniversary), but let me guess:

1.  new wallet with improved gui
2.  deepsend
3.  100k onions to be distributed: 78k for the mods, 22k for the vip tasks (this was announced before, so this is not a guess)

hi, these are some of the facts about what i think sato walllet:
1. sato does staking only for pos-type coins. if you deposit bitcoins, it will not give you staking.
2. sato can stake even if your cellfone is offline.  since your coins are with sato, sato does the staking for you.
3. staking rate differs from coin to coin.  every coin has it's own staking rate.
4. staking rewards are distributed every monday.
5. you don't have access to priv key of the addresses in the sato wallet.

this is my understanding. please correct me if i'm wrong.

8% for 6 months, that's roughly 17% annually.  i think it's quite low when we talk about cryptocurrency.

and your collateral doesn't sound interesting enough.

look for somewhere else where 17% annual interest is a good deal.  perhaps, some banks or credit card companies can give you that.

wow, it's good to see "terms and conditions" being mentioned prior to giving out loans.  years before, it used to be simple as friendly loan.  i used to do these loans, those like open terms, term extensions, no signed messages.  and i failed, i got scammed multiple times.  i learned my lessons in hard way.

hi, can someone help me out?
i got a problem on my deeponion qt-wallet.
on startup, the splash screen shows up as usual, together with verifying blockchain which goes to 100%.
but after that, the program minimizes to windows taskbar.
i clicked on the program icon, but the main wallet window doesn't show up.

i restart windows, problem still the same.
i deleted %appdata%\deeponion folder to start from scratch, problem still the same.

when i run wallet version 1.6, it works
when i run wallet version 1.7 higher, it doesn't work.

maybe one of these great news will be the launch of new wallet gui.  this is good, i think this is the product of a proposal that was approved last month.
