Jamaleazaz just wrote us the designer is working on the signature design. We hope to announce the campaign tonight, campaign scheme is ready, it may be a "contest like" campaign with awards proportional to the number of posts, and a "updated ranking spreadsheet".. or a more classic one, stay tuned!!

Quote
CGC Project is a brilliant multiplayer
and multiplatform implementation of a
card game engine. And it makes you
earn money!
How can players make money by playing games? is it poker kind of game or what?
Op also mention pokemon and starwars, but they do not offer real money to players

You may earn CGC dueling against other players for a BET, on dedicated tables. You can also earn CGC out of your market skills buying and selling most played and precious cards for a nice profit on the automated player to player cards market, no house fees!
CGC will be traded soon on most common exchanges too, join the ICO to acquire some.

Please note booster amounts are limited. Each expansion quantity will halve as soon as first batch is over and price will raise up 10% until they run out. NO restock is possible, Beta powerful cards will be VERY rare. In a close future you may also earn money collecting a whole expansion set. A dedicated fund will generously reward you.

More MTG cards expansions will be added every month, to assure both fun and market activity, driven by a costantly changing meta-game. Other card games will be implemented as soon as possible, right now we’re testing Lord of The Rings and Star Wars with great results. We will focus on Magic The Gathering because it has a huge player base and it moves a lot of money, invest now and grab your slice too!

Great News! After a long research we found a Legendary Bitcointalk Member with experience as Magic The Gathering player!
We invited him to a private pre-release session on 26th December and he gladly accepted, asking no money. We did ask him to comment about the project on our thread for the community after the event. An extract from the conversation:

Sure I will. I loved that game  Smiley

I understand you will provide me with the codes, etc the next 26, correct?

Yes, exactly.
We will also require you to accept a Not Disclosure Agreement. Software must be protected until ICO ends, you understand.
We're happy we finally found a player, an old player to be precise, and also a Legendary Member of Bitcointalk.  Cheesy
You'll receive a free Investor Package: coupons for buying boosters and test collection feature, CGC credits from dev fund to try the p2p market engine.

Speaking about the game: our MTG game server will offer three timelines for edition releases:

Old= it will start with Beta,Antiquities,Arabian Nights...
Average= it willl start from Mirrodin, Darksteel, Fifth Dawn
New= it will start from current Type 2 Block

At launch and in your pre-release these "blocks" will be available for sale.
Our Legality Check will take care of controlling a deck is accepted in a peculiar format, official ban/limitations included.

Please notice in the screenshot the famous Disciple of the Vault and Artifacts lands ban being implemented in Mirrodin Block legality check. Also notice how the same deck passes the "2004 T2 Legality Check"  Wink
With CGC Project several "rules" can be easily implemented. As soon as we will release new editions more "checks" will be available.

I guess you're now wondering if we considered implementing Sealed or Draft mode into the project since we have all those boosters available...

Ok Everyone. I've reached on an Agreement About managing their Signature Campaign.. I'll soon Give you more updates.

I do not understand.

You asked for a wage, we accepted the amount you proposed.
You asked for "designer funds", we accepted to add a part of the budget for that.
You asked to receive the funds of the designer, and to transfer them to the designer, we accepted.

You promised a very fast delivery since we had to fire the last manager who failed to delivery in agreed time. Any news?

Just to be safe.. does someone know two good designers, or signature campaign managers?

We need someone who can answer to PMs and delivery the job in promised time. We need a backup manager for the backup manager of the first assigned manager in case Jamalaezaz fails to launch the campaign in the next hours. And probably it would be a wise idea to have a backup manager for him too.
His/her wage will be paid in Bitcoin, campaign budget will be in Bitcoin too. Please PM us with your wage request. NO, YOU WON'T SEE A SINGLE SATOSHI until the campaign start.

whether a signature campaign was postponed? I'm very impatient to wait for the campaign.

It's probably just a matter of time zones, manager is maybe sleeping and we worry for nothing, he only forgot a small update.
Looking for a backup is a necessary measure, but it's only to be prepared for an emergency Plan C, we stick for now with plan B.

Here it is the open booster:

Right Click on a single card to find it inside your collection..

We will explore collection details tomorrow, the "wish list" feature and the "have list" one.
This will drive us straight to most interesting CGC feature: real time live market, but that's another story.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICO: CGC PROJECT Register to win VIP Pass or Free Cards -GAME SCREENSHOTS! on: December 24, 2016, 03:24:09 AM
About time we present the Collection game engine. Trading one will follow, of course.

After I've imported a preconstructed Mirrodin Block deck I decided to buy a few Mirrodin Edition boosters: I don't like proxied decks, CGC grants no collectible awards for playing that way..

I can open it with a middle mouse click:

Ok....  Angry

Let me see... Yea yea I see ! I did ! I did ! Ask a question and was ignored.....  Undecided
So now how many cards come in a pack and stuff ? That app just looks like an app I have used before why is that such a big deal ? How is this showing us anything ? Damn it man speak sense over here !

Sorry man, we've been very busy with Signatures and Game reviewers.
To answer your question:

Extract from our Whitepaper:

MTG Specific Server
In this section we will analyze the behavior of a specific CGC Game Server: Magic The Gathering.

Table Instances

Several Table Instances may be attached to a single game server.  In a future release players may host their own tables, for profit and fun. Table host may set up his own basic rules, as the number of players (1 for deck testing purpose  2-4 for serious or casual play) . The host may decide if table accepts a bet for the hosted match.  Table host also decides accepted “Formats”.
Formats are different ways in which the Magic Card Game can be played. Each format provides rules for deck construction and gameplay. They officially fall into two categories: Constructed and Limited. Constructed formats require players to construct their deck prior to playing in the tournament from the pool of format-legal cards. Limited formats, on the other hand, involve a restricted and unknown pool of cards, usually created by opening Magic Products (in-game boosters). These formats require players to build their decks as part of the tournament, with time allotted for deck building.

  CGC Accepted Formats

Sanctioned Constructed formats implemented in CGC include Standard, Modern, Legacy, and Vintage. The primary two sanctioned Limited formats are Sealed Deck (already implemented in CGC MTG subproject), and Booster Draft (99% tested and working properly, soon to be public released). A wide variety of other formats have been designed by players of the game for custom gameplay or reduced investment cost; these are known as casual formats, most famous and implemented in CGC MTG subproject is ”Pauper” with only common and cheaper cards accepted, to maximize the fun for low budget players.
CGC MTG server has a perfectly working legality check implemented, in order to assure players deck are built within rules of table’s format.

   CGC MTG Available Products

All 16,000+ MTG cards ever printed are basically already available on CGC server. Each edition boosters will be released following a  historically accurate timeline. Most booster compositions are faithful reproductions of original Magic boosters. A couple have been adjusted to 15 cards for gameplay (sealed and draft) ease.
Players may have the pleasure of competing in a metagame no more available in real life or in traditional online platforms. They may revive an historically accurate (sped up) release “chain”. This always changing metagame, with a constantly growing pool of legally accepted cards, will have multiple benefical effects.
Fun is granted since new boosters will keep the metagame varied, with new spells available every month.
Real time market liquidity is granted since rarest new cards will be rotating on top of competitive players “wanted list” (already implemented) and older or less used cards may be added once new “combos” come out.
Players are encouraged to come back and stay loyal because their decks can constantly be improved with new editions release.
Booster price will be cheap, and at least 50% of CGC collected from boosters sales will be used  to fund server tournaments rewards or other activities community may demand.

CGC Assets Scarcity and market effects

Each edition will be limited in number. CGC Server regularly checks all boosters. If it find an out of stock product, then it will add a shipment of product with halved availability (compared to the previous stock) and price increased by 10%. This slightly rewards “early investors”, and later it will reward “early buyers” of each edition. Live market cards prices should benefit from 10% exponential booster price inflation. Inflation won’t be excessive since 2/4 of each edition cards will be minted at starting price, another 1/4 with just a 10% increase. Once an edition is sold out no more cards of a specific edition can be minted. Cards live market will benefit from both fixed scarcity and expected increasing players base.
Simple numbers example:
Only 1024 hypotethical boosters of edition X will be available.  First batch will be 512 boosters for sale at 10 $ . Once they’re sold out next batch will be 256 boosters for sale at 11 $, then 128 at 12.10 $, then 64 at 13.31 $, then 32 at 14.64 $, then 16 at 16.10 $, then 8 at 17.71 $, then 4 at 19.48 $, then 2 at 21.43 $ and eventually last one at 23.57 $. No more cards of that edition will be minted. For those wondering average edition X sale price would be about 11.10 $ , at least 5675 CGC (50% of total) will be kept on a public address and used for community rewards. Remaining funds will be used for server hosting, mainteinance and upgrades.

CGC MTG Boosters composition and market effects

We kept booster composition as historically accurate as possible:
Classic edition booster packs contain 15 cards:  11 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 rare. “Antiquities”, “Arabian Nights”, “The Dark” will be cheaper and contain 8 cards.
Beta Edition (295 cards: 74 commons, 95 uncommons, 116 rares) required a special scrypt to be historically accurate since, due to the printing process, it is possible to get land cards in a rare (Islands, 4 of them were on the rare print sheet), uncommon, or common card slot. The chance is approximately 3.31% for an island in rares, 21.5% for a land in uncommons and 38.02% for a land in commons. This is because they put lands on all three printed sheets.

Live market prices of Power Nine (MTG Beta strongest rare cards) will benefit a lot from this scarcity. Given 1024 hypothetical Beta Boosters for sale  only 9 of each Power Nine cards will statistically be minted. 5 copies of each P9 card will be put for sale on our website shop as soon as server has passed a few test days. They will be sold for Bitcoins only, on “first come first served” basis, and will NEVER be re-stocked. They will be sold 1 by 1, manually added to the shop at random time intervals, to avoid concentration and market manipulations. Sales will be announced on CGC Website, CGC Social Media and Bitcointalk.

20% of funds collected with these sales will be used to purchase CGC back from exchanges during the next month. These purchased CGC will be kept on a public address and used to fund tournaments rewards and other activities as community demands. “Another activity” may be be “burn those funds”, if community ask for it, to compensate 1% Proof of Stake annual inflation. Remaining funds will be used for website hosting, mainteinance and upgrades as soon as new games are added. Community will decide what the next game added to CGC project will be with a dedicated poll. Lord Of The Rings, Star Wars and Pokemon should be first candidates as they’re under test on our private server. Similar “single rare card” distribution rates are expected from other classic editions. Website shop may put for sale no more than 5x of nine single rare/uncommon card of each classic edition released on the server and/or distribuite. Basic lands will be available in-game.

whether for a signature campaign has been opened?

Think it is being designed. Not sure. Kinda went from made to hold status. I'm sure dev or someone will post its status soon enough

Yes it's being designed. We hired Jamalaezaz for both "design" and "campaign" after a misunderstanding with 0day about requested delivery time.
We were in hurry, under threath of negative trust because our signature design was too similar to another coin one.
0day will receive a reimbursement for the time spent designing the signature.
We hope Jamalaezaz will provide everything soon so we can eventually start the campaign.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICO: CGC PROJECT Register to win VIP Pass or Free Cards -GAME SCREENSHOTS! on: December 23, 2016, 06:56:55 PM
Everything does look scam these days actually. especially if they create moderated thread with no escrow and i mean why would they do that when in fact we will never anytime soon believe new accounts are indeed "NEW". These users know exactly we all need to see escrows and unmoderated thread.

Although I somehow see they do have escrow, its still suspicious to see moderated thread.

You dont understand it? They do it to scam and make money.

Yeah, that's why we chose to give one of the most serious escrow of the server (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102721)
full control of the funds and have our game and market engines reviewed by indipendent gamers /community members.
Do you have any MTG experience? Do you have any provable experience writing game reviews? Are you a blogger/youtuber/influencer? Do you know any of them?
You could stop complaining about we scamming you and apply for being invited to the media pre-release.

This could help you collecting proofs project is fake and warning the community about our scam (I guess that's the reason you hate us for: you want to protect your community, and we're its enemy)
Or this could bring you to write "Sorry guys, I had a bad day and when it happens I usually write dumb things. The project is damn interesting and well structured, both lightweighted and modular. Everything they advertised is working as expected".

Have a nice day!

Ok Everyone. I've reached on an Agreement About managing their Signature Campaign.. I'll soon Give you more updates.
I kept CGC informed from my activity for the campaign any time he asked.  Because of the arctic coin scam with me now I take the fees first before preparing the thread for the campaign. yesterday the dev of CGC insist to create the thread and signature designs first and he will will pay me within 24 hours. I have completed the thread but till now I had not received any amount of my fees from the dev so I delayed it. So I will go to start a scam accusation in case he break the deal.

Note: do not delete my this post if you do not come to the deal as it will be your path to the scam.

There is no scam, man. And I have no clue what Atctic Coin is. No one with sane mind in my team would put at risk our project to scam you 0.02 BTC. Just a delay in your job delivery that made us changing manager. Bad things happens, and as you can see in our thread we do a lot of mistakes.

Don't worry you will have your first week paid as we agreed, as signature design efforts reimbursement. Good luck with you other activities!
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICO: CGC PROJECT Register to win VIP Pass or Free Cards -GAME SCREENSHOTS! on: December 23, 2016, 06:29:43 PM

Its a good thing that the project seem not becoming scam like the rest of the ICO spurting out these days. a signature campaign will help gain more supporters of this project. Also a Chinese thread will also boost the crowdfunding.

Thank you, we will pre-release the software before ICO ends, to have it reviewed by trusted bitcointalkers and a few bloggers.
Do you have any chinese contact who'd like to try a translation of the ANN ? Or do you know anyone with some MTG experience who'd may like an invite?

I will join this project because I like playing games so I need some free cards for this.

Glad to hear that, register on your website to have a chance to win a VIP pass for the pre-release!

Do you have any Magic The Gathering experience?

As you everybody noticed 0day behaviour was a bit crappy..
He asked for money and promised to launch the campaign. He didn't start any campaign, he didn't take care of any design.

Good news we didn't send him any money so the slot is free again:  anyone interested in managing the Signature Campaign?

Wage is paid in Bitcoin. Budget is in BTC too.

Your behavior is also weird. its been few days when I informed about signature designer's words. but you didn't replied me and now you are saying you are ready to pay in BTC.. than why you didn't replied me if you are paying in BTC?
He seems to know your message to 0day could be an alt account of 0day,i don't know there is a connection between the two although it's ok to have a an alt account here, but the who needs to respond must be the one whom the message was addressed.

We hope Jamalaezaz ask for a reasonable price so we can assign campaign to him. It would be a good solution.

Update: He just did it. We guess he will confirm soon taking care of CGC signature campaign.
