1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm not sure if this is being sent as a payment in electrum wallet on: April 06, 2024, 11:01:59 PM
I actually changed my mind about sending it, would going to Send tab and right clicking on Unpaid and delete suffice if I don't want to progress i.e. cancel it?
If your transaction has not been broadcasted, there's nothing to cancel at all and you can make a new transaction with the same input(s) whenever you want.
If your transaction was broadcasted and there are nodes that have your transaction in their mempool, chances are the transaction will be confirmed in the future.

Well its been quite a number of days, and its still labelled unpaid so I right clicked and selected delete.

2.What wallet was your bitcoins sent from, exchange wallet or what?
It wasn't sent thru an exchange like coinbase etc,

3.(This was suggested many times by the others above) Have you checked your bitamp address in a explorer like blockchair.com? What's the result?
I did. The result was I only saw the incoming amount to that address. Nothing exiting it.

With how poorly you explain yourself, if you are trying to get people to come to your forum you are going to get the opposite, either no one is going to come, or only people who have a similar capacity of comprehension to your capacity of expression are going to come.
I agree, they deserve much better, we wouldn't want this motley crew hanging out someone like me with subpar expression. Thank you for your feedback Poker Face.

It's so funny that you called this out but the other replies just tried to help OP, I guess they've read your post and so they ignored the intention to attract us and visit the website on OP's signature, ....

I don’t think you have actually been reading the other members replies because I still don’t get it. You cannot get a transaction ID for a transaction that hasn’t be broadcasted. The unpaid transaction is just like an invoice you created because the fee you use is way below the minimum fee rate of the sever you’re connected to. Also the network wouldn’t automatically pick that transaction themselves you will have to broadcast it your self. Check the replies on the thread again and adjust your fee or if it is the total balance in the wallet reduce the amount you will send and leave that which will cover for the fees

We can't jump to the conclusion that Bitamp wallet is a scam and took OP's bitcoins, and what I find strange is some people are asking OP to provide the wallet address so people can check. But so far he has ignored such questions and just continues to answer people's other questions. I'm also leaning towards the case that this is the OP's fault, not the Bitamp wallet.

OP, can you provide the community with some necessary information so that some people here can find out the reason for losing your bitcoins? You can't come here and say that Bitamp wallet stole your bitcoins without any proof.
Victim blaming seems prevalent in society nowadays. I want to maintain my privacy which is why I haven't posted the details.
I looked up the address that I received money into and it appears to exit on the blockchain but on bitamp transaction history it remains blank.
If money were to be sent from my bitamp account would it gone via Send only thru the address that I received the money into? i.e. in and out same way? I clicked send but I don't see a send address? I do see plenty of receiving address all with zero balance. I am definitely in the right bitamp account.

How would I go about importing this into electrum or exodus?

I remember one time, bitamp was significantly behind the latest block mined so I'd check that first, perhaps when you logged in, it was the case?
What usually happens under those circumstances?

Bitamp gives users too many receiving and change addresses, you have to remember which address you received your bitcoins at.
I remember the receiving address  and it matches the one on bitamp just no history there.

Is it possible to extend your seed phrase with a passphrase with this wallet? Did you do anything like that?
a seed is used to login and that's it, if by extension you mean additional word added to the seed then I wouldn't have been able to login

Right click on the transaction > details > broadcast.

I did that and I don't see broadcast instead I got onchain invoice. I can see amount and address and it's still unpaid. I guess it hasn't gone thru

AFAIK as long as you create the new transaction using a same inputs, you won't paying the fees twice.
I am more concerned about paying the invoice twice than the fee.

You can copy your TXID and check on Bitcoin explorer e.g. mempool, it should be "unconfirmed".
TXID is obtained by right clicking on the transaction under history tab but in my case it's still unpaid (under send tab) and therefore not under history tab yet nearly 24hrs later

Right click on the transaction > details, it's either false or true.
I did that under send and I only got onchain invoice, no true/fase in sight. Its not in history tab yet.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm not sure if this is being sent as a payment in electrum wallet on: March 30, 2024, 07:33:03 AM

...it's either you wait until the fees drop
How will I know they have dropped?

and your wallet/other nodes to rebroadcast your transaction
I was not aware I had a choice in the matter, is there a way to see the list of nodes I can rebroadcast from? Which tab is that under?

or you can create a new transaction with higher fees.
How can I be sure I won't be paying twice given the previous action (send mishap) if I did this? I am not sure the previous transaction has gone thru, is there a way to check? If t hasn't I will take up your suggestion.

If you have more coins, you can bump your transactions as long as the RBF enabled.
RBF enabled is under which tab?

They have an ANN thread on this forum Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly!. Looking at their feedback, they haven't scammed anyone, so I wouldn't directly assume the lost of your coins are because of them.

You need to elaborate more, when you create the wallet, how much you have, show the address you previously use, did you enable 2FA, etc etc because there's a chance if your wallet might be compromised.

AFAIK Bitamp is a non custodial wallet, so try to import the seed phrase to other wallet, check the history.
I didn't use 2fa. If you could direct on to see if any money has gone out of the account (bitcoin address) that would suffice? Where do I go to see if anything has gone out from my address? History is empty in transaction history in bitamp.I am referring to mempool or tracking the blockchain activity for this address.

I don't see my money in my account, and I see no history either? Is this normal?
I don't see the barcode either I waited a while 15-20 min, still zero and no barcode to the far right.
I didn't use 2 factor
I use tor browser only.

Do you always access you wallet through For it tried it for the first time?
for that account yes

Check your address on a block explorer first to see the total balance and any outgoing transaction.
How do I do that? Have you heard of anyone been scammed by bitamp before?

Perhaps you tried to transact with a mempool much lower than the transaction fee currently required to transact Bitcoin, which is why your transaction is having this issue. The mempool may have been too high at the time you tried to make a Bitcoin transaction, but on the other hand, you may have tried to make a transaction using too little mempool due to which your transaction may not have been completed. It would be best if you take a screenshot of your transaction.
I left the mempool dial where it was  which was to the far left as possible, I didn't fiddle with it at all, are you meant to always adjust that dial?

How does one gauge where to adjust the mempool dial to, like should you leave it midway or to the left? How will I know what the standard mempool fee is so then go back and adjust the dial on electrum just before pay button.

The difficulty would depend on your setup + how meticulous is the platform/providers + perhaps luck as well lol.
How do I go about setting this up with being found out in general by any gambling site, (not this one in particular)?
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I'm not sure if this is being sent as a payment in electrum wallet on: March 30, 2024, 04:00:27 AM
I clicked pay and a box appeared and quickly disappeared, it said not enough mempool fee, and I went to send tab and under 'status' there is a exclamation mark unpaid, i don't see it history though.
Should I resend or just wait and hope its gone thru?

Even if you use a VPN and a fake phone number, they will find about it sooner or later.
How?
17  Economy / Web Wallets / swindled by bitamp of my funds on: March 30, 2024, 01:59:01 AM
I had some bitcoin at https://wallet.bitamp.com/#/login.html
I used tor to login and the balance is zero, my money is not there and transaction history show no outgoing payments.
