My solution has always been to use Gyft.com to buy giftcards, specifically wholefoods, as well as using my shift card tied to coinbase. I can just shop as I normally do with a debit card.

I love the idea of a public QR code in a painting. If you had it displayed people could "Tip" the painting. Maybe the private key is sealed on the back of the canvas. Only those who buy the painting can get access to the tips. The value not only goes up because of whats stored but what the intrinsic value of the art work. Even though your concept is great, the execution and color selection is not great. What is the size of the piece. I dont know many artists that are starting out who can sell a piece for for more than $1k usd. The price is a bit ridiculous.
