1  Other / Off-topic / Re: What supplements or vitamins you are taking to stay fit and healthy? on: October 24, 2019, 09:13:59 AM
My doctor suggests me CDR (that's a brand might not available in your country). She said it has a complete vitamin composition. I have complained about the weak body, easily tired, and my back hurt (I work in front of the computer all day long). After I take the supplement, I feel better. I also always remind myself to eat enough vegetables and fruits.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money can't buy happiness ... on: October 24, 2019, 08:48:30 AM
Material world today. No happiness with no money. Do you agree?

Yes, I agree. We need money for our basic needs.
Without money, we can't fulfill our basic needs, that's miserable, not happy.
But with money, it doesn't guarantee that we will be happy.
The money will bring happiness, true happiness; both will go along with the right proportion.

I care more about my happines but without neglecting my responsibilities.
I have been in a position where I hate my job. I can't work well and optimizing myself. I feel that what I'm doing doesn't fulfill my purpose. But I need the job for my living. So, I start to understand myself what will make me happy, and is there something I can do with it to earn money. It's not easy. I have bumped into walls. But that's my definition of happiness, to working in something I enjoy.
It's not just about passion. It is not a passion if you don't create something. You are lucky if you find a passion that could earn you money.

I though that people with the highest salary may not even recognized. So they're not on the list.
Or maybe I watched too much movies.

I have heard sometimes ago in a TV show that eating a spicy thing is believed to burn more calories, hence reducing your weight. In my hometown, people love spicy food, and I'm rarely see overweight people.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is love more than just a chemical reaction? on: October 07, 2019, 12:13:35 PM
Maybe if you viewed love as hormonal or sexual desire than maybe it can be explained by chemical reaction, maybe biochemistry. But love as a feeling often can't be explained using rational thought. It often irrational.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dark circles on: September 23, 2019, 03:51:10 PM
I face the same problem, there is a dark circle around my eyes, but it's not an eye bag. I'm suspicious it's because I'm thin, the structure of my skull makes flesh around my eyes sunken. Compressing doesn't seem to make any difference. But I do make some precaution:
  • I'm using glasses with Bluray filter when using the computer.
  • I always sit down/manage the right position when using the computer. I avoid using it by lying in bed.
  • Drink enough water.
  • Reduce the white spot/brightness of my gadget.
  • I am not too close when watching tv.
  • Always blinking and see the green leave of a tree, or something far, like a scenery, once in a while.
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: I always feel tired on: September 23, 2019, 03:37:46 PM
Did anyone have such a thing that you constantly feel tired, do not want to do anything? I always have this. I do not know what to do. My health is fine, i think. Who has ideas?

Yes, I have felt this feeling. I'm tired of life. I hope I don't wake up every day. It feels like there is no hope. I don't want anything. Everybody else seems to have a target, something they want to get, but I don't. I have browsed some blogs, and there's an article that said maybe I'm just getting bored. It says that this is a big big world, how can you be bored? Do you claimed that you had achieved everything, go to every place, have met every person, read every book, etc. etc.?
You need to do something different rather than what you always do. Try a different perspective, buy a new variant of coffee, listen to a new music genre, etc. This kind of changing could make you spirited. Also, take vitamins and exercise. If you never trained your body, it becomes weak.

I would make a vlog about how to make $3000 a month while being locked in a room  Grin
Maybe I would play video game and stream it to some channel where I can make profit.
10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need help in education on: September 16, 2019, 01:31:53 PM
I have face the same condition during my college year, and I was regret that I didn't know what my friends know that time. That we can still working while studying, even become smarter than other, by taking a job that is aligned with our object study. For example, I was studying chemistry. Therefore the job that is suitable for me is become a tutor in a private course. A teacher payment is not so bad in my city. There are a lot of school student that needs a tutor, the market is never dead. And the more I teaching, the more money I get, the more smarter I am. The time to work is also flexible. It only require 2 hours per session. Maybe you can apply this example to suit your need.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: I can't sleep :( on: September 16, 2019, 09:50:54 AM
I have facing difficulties also at some nights trying to sleep. Sometimes I drink milk and it works. But sometimes I'm more awake than before because it makes me feel full and I can't sleep when my digestion is working. If I'm not mistaken, it's also not healthy to sleep after you consume food. I have tried different ways, like doing yoga before sleep, using earplug, changing my bed in different direction. I found that all this strategy have the same goal, which is to shut down your mind. There is one simple way I like to do now:
1. Relax the muscles in your face, including tongue, jaw and the muscles around the eyes. Close your eyes and lying.
2. Drop your shoulders as far down as they’ll go.
3. Take a deeep breath until your lung's full, and release it until it completely empty. Do it slowly. Repeat 4 times.
4. On the fourth time, after taking a breath, hold it and count to 4. Then release it like pushing it out. And then repeat step 3.
I did this twice, and just flow with the rhythm. At least it help me to empty my mind.

maybe we can use AI to predict this.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sports and recreation on: September 09, 2019, 03:03:14 PM
I think any kind of exercise is good, better than not at all.
I only doing yoga  Grin I can do it any time in my room, so it's more flexible.
Actually you can do sport and socialize at the same time, either you ask your friends to jogging together (for example), or you'll find new friends on the spot. So it wouldn't need more time to do both.

God doesn't exist, neither Satan.

Just human which is both  Tongue
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Shall we change the name of god? on: September 05, 2019, 01:54:06 PM
I think we may change the name of a thing if we own that thing. And we can't change the name of other's people thing.
In this case, I can call my God whatever I want, but I can't call yours as I like.
So, in general, who owns the God?  Cheesy
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why is it hard to say sorry on: September 05, 2019, 01:48:27 PM
Why is it hard to say sorry?

Because people are essentially honest at heart (they ain't sorry).

Cool

So they did that.. in purpose.
What if, it is hard to say sorry because that'll means admitting that I'm wrong.
So, I will just accept, that, okay, actually I mean it, and I'm an asshole  Cheesy

"Happiness is not doing fun things. Happiness is doing meaningful things." ~Maxime Lagacé

Just do the things that make you happy, then happiness will follow.

- without guilt.

Does these quote contradict each other?  Cheesy

I'm interested in them but a little scared, because they are stronger and smarter than human.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to empty your mind of unwanted thinking pattern on: August 29, 2019, 09:59:40 AM
I found out that when my mind is in unwanted thinking pattern, it's when I'm not doing something useful. For example, when I'm day dreaming, or in the long term is when I'm jobless. For me, this unwanted thinking pattern occurred because I don't have anything useful to do. And when I'm busy with my job, or my family, or reading book, this thinking's gone. So I always keep my self busy doing something worth, either for myself or others. I think jogging or some other sports is great too.
