141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest cryptocurrency blockchain to make a token on: August 28, 2020, 08:17:37 AM
I don't know how fast NEO's transaction speed is, so i can't comment anything but I know exactly about ethereum, ethereum transaction is not fast. Yes, you can make it fast but the fee will be so high too. Based on my experience waves is faster, i can't say this is the fastest, and don't forget waves transaction fee is so low, 2 Benefits of waves

NEO transaction speed is 15 sec (block time) as I said in the first place. I don't make lobby for NEO in here but one major benefit of NEO block chain are TX fees which are 0. Now it all depends what the OP want to accomplish with his cryptocurrency.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest cryptocurrency blockchain to make a token on: August 27, 2020, 11:32:05 AM
Hello,

I need to do an own token or altcoin but can’t consider on which blockchain to base it? I need FASTEST one... so that transactions were confirmed in a few secs. So it shouldn’t be an Ethereum blockchain but something else.

Please let me know which blockchain to use for creating token/altcoin over it.

Thanks.

If you want a token and you don't have a lot of coding skills, go for Ethereum or NEO - the transactions are confirmed in ~15 secs on both.
If you have some coding skills I suggest to make a fork of a coin like Nano, Stellar (Ripple) (5-10 secs block time), among the fastest around.

Thanks for bumping the thread guys!

You two are the greatest douches in the world.

Be sure to swing by the discord and say Hi sometime, guess we could even make a chan for both of you to circlejerk in all day.

Anyway, don't say we didn't offer.

Peace!

I thought that this is the downside of our talk, but thanks to the new bumping algo, this thread doesn't appear on the 1st page of bitcointalk.  Grin

As for joining Discord, no thanks! I know how things works and worked there since the beginning, you get insta ban if you say something that the devs don't like (aka licking asses). This is why only CCZ ships are still in there.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | NEO Smart Economy⚡Now a Top 10 Cryptocurrency⚡| Official Thread |Updated Aug10 on: August 27, 2020, 10:00:45 AM
When the bull runs in disbelief and BTC is over 100K a year from now the Neo ATH will be shredded. It is great to still see plenty of doubt, as that is expected at these levels, and a 30 month long Bear market has left it scars as it should.

Maybe, but in this 30 month long bearmarket many projects appeared and took a piece of the pie. Ontology is one of them, which took like half of the NEO pie imo.

Don't get me wrong, I don't FUD or anything like this as I hold a bag of NEO still (like 20% of my portfolio) and I would love to see NEO near the ATH in the next year or two, but like you said... I doubt.

I'm wondering can you add in Windows wallet option that after click on address it will be copied by default? This can make things easier instead of ctrl+c Smiley

This is an option I miss too, but since I use a gaming mouse I've set it to "copy" - "paste" with the side 4th and 5th buttons.
If you don't have a gaming mouse you can try some apps from the web, that do just this, auto copy highlighted text in Windows. Google it.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: August 26, 2020, 06:58:02 PM
It is off topic to talk about other coins nobody cares what are you holding. This is dedicated thread for the community of NANO than no need to tell other why are holding other coins. Nano is getting ready for this current rally surely it will get explode like it did in past and it will be a surprise move.

Sorry about this mate!
Our discussion deviated offtopic without noticing it, when we were discussing why Nano isn't getting the attention it deserves. I'll be more carefully in the future.
Peace!
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The Movement DAO | Fully Decentralized Organization | Borderless Collaboration on: August 26, 2020, 06:52:36 PM
Is there a good tutorial you can point to for a similar type of situation?  I've never voted with a DAO.  The learning curve seems kind of steep if done alone.  Maybe a zoom meeting for doing this?

This is a great idea Paramind22!

We have a couple of improvements on the table I think. The first will be creating a video tutorial for the voting mechanism.  I can work on this tonight unless someone wants to. Second, weekly calls on discord or Zoom.  As we organize, being in sync will become more important. Community task issuance could be done from these as well any outstanding issues that need to be addressed.

If there are no objections, I'll start putting form to this.

A video tutorial would be great. I would have done it myself because I am familiar with making videos, but since I never voted in a DAO neither, I can't make it happen. Maybe after a article about the voting mechanism will be out, and I'll try it, I can give it a shot.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 26, 2020, 06:30:23 PM
Maybe this is the best decision after all. Burning a part of the premine and keeping part for development is not that bad as burning 100% of the coins premined.
By doing this way, the dev is pleasing both sides (the keepers and the burners). I can live with it, even if I am not 100% for it.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 23, 2020, 04:59:26 PM
Looks like a lot of people are for the use of the coins instead of burning them.
But for the fairness of the proposal, I would suggest @Sherlock to make a poll, in this thread and invite all people from Discord and other communication channels to vote for it.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 22, 2020, 08:05:50 AM
How to use the remaining 298804-13200 = 285604, I want to hear your opinions, thank you
1 Direct destruction: The remaining tokens are directly transferred to 0x000000... address, this is the simplest and fairest way.
2 The community establishes reward rules, and the incentives who meet the conditions are certified by the community, then we are responsible for the distribution of incentives.

I don't agree with point 1 - to destroy the tokens. The tokens can be used to fund the development of the project. The fund can be used to pay services, team members, managers, marketers, etc. For example the services you mentioned above nodes, website, etc.

This is my personal opinion.

Cheers and good luck!
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 22, 2020, 03:41:33 AM
There is no need to stop big miners, his gains are in full proportion to his efforts.
There are still many essential differences between mining pools and large miners.
For example, in traditional POW, there are 10 nodes in the entire network, the 5 are solo, and the other 5 are alliances, then the chance of the alliance winner is not 5/10, but 27/32, which is much greater than 5/10 , this is the key to unfairness.
In our network, your chance of winning is always equal to the proportion of your contribution to the entire network.
In addition, since there is no profit advantage in cooperation, there will be no mining pools. In the end, there will be more large miners without alliance and some free small miners, and the system will be more decentralized, and thus more safety

I see your point of view: the nodes.

Here is mine: the coins.

Maybe you fixed the node problem pools have, but you have a new problem - all the coins goes now to a single owner, instead of multiple owners. This is why I've said is worst than traditional PoW, instead of a pool getting 50% of mined coins (which will be spread among all individual miners) now we have 1 miner getting 50% of the coins, but we are pool free.

And not to be negligible, with this approach the scenario can go like this: Let's say I mine solo (because there are no pools involved) but since is not profitable for me because 1 single miner gets 50% of all block, I leave. So will do all the small miners, if is not profitable anymore and this will lead him to mine more and more blocks until probably he will mine 100% of the blocks.

Now tell me, where is the decentralization?
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][2POW] Luck - A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools on: August 21, 2020, 05:35:42 PM
I again see that we have a massive miner 0xa1b586 is making 5 blocks at 10 mined ratio can You please decrease a little number of nodes, please ?

I saw this today in Discord that a single address is mining 50% of all blocks, confirmed also by a support member of Luck coin.

What you should do?
My suggestion is not to beg the miner to reduce the number of nodes/miners, but for the dev to find a solution to this issue, since the whole purpose of this coins is now doomed.

"A new consensus algorithm to eliminate large mining pools" - the consensus may be eliminated for the large pools but not for the large miners.

"one-CPU-one-vote" vision - if someone is mining with 1000 CPUs over a 2000 nodes (CPUS) network, this consensus is not better than the clasic POW one, is even worst.

My 2 cents!

lots of projects are using the name DEFI but some of them are scam and shitcoin, people should learn what DEFI is really about, it sounds weird why people like investing when they hear the name DEFI, but stick to old projects that are still developing, I bet it has good potential for the future, NANO is also good for investment

This is true. DeFi now is like ICO in 2017, a lot of FOMO surrounding the projects that are DeFi or claiming to be one. I know that many will make nice profits on DeFi projects but much more people will get burnt by this 2020 trend called DeFi, like a lot of people lost a lot of money in 2018 due to ICO scams and failed projects.

I also got burnt by some projects from 2017 and made some money with others, this is why I choose to stay with the old schools coins BTC, LTC, ETH, DASH.

P.S. I also have a bag of NANO still XRB in my old XRB wallet.

Agree with everything you wrote. Had the same experience.

I am curious why do you hold LTC and DASH? I have the same portfolio but instead of LTC I hold DCR and instead of DASH I hold XMR

Well I prefer to hold these top coins since they are more established, so the risk of loosing my money is lower than with other top 200 coins.
Why I choose them: DASH - because of the very low fees, for any payment in the space. LTC - because BTC is too slow and too expensive. Have other alts from top 50, but I prefer to not shill them in here, the comment from above was purely to give an example even if I hold all of the coins mentioned there.

Grin it's fun to see those too loosers aka short dick jerks  arielbit (tide) & othell_rogue (second beggar), two poor beggars, bribing for some free coins, discussing nothing here, they both are nothing but lice

1) Beggers? Did I asked something (material) from you or Espers? No.
2) I suggest you to watch your language, since I didn't said any offensive words neither to you or Cryptocoderz/Espers.
3) Looks like you can't manage to have a decent discussion (unless is something you want to hear) so I am done with you.

At least Cryptocoderz came in here and gave us some explanations, with calm and appropriate words, but you...

P.S. attacking my posts over the forum with your low quality and offensive posts will only get you banned for trolling.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | NEO Smart Economy⚡Now a Top 10 Cryptocurrency⚡| Official Thread |Updated Aug10 on: August 21, 2020, 05:23:02 AM
Neo doing very well - price consistently strong - should be at $50

Doing very well?! I don't think so..

Why?! Because NEO lost a lot of investors and a lot of money (in term of price) when Ontology was launched.
Look at it, now at $16 is the same price as it was in September 2017. True is 3x since March 2020 but its also 10x from NEO ATH. I bought NEO all the way down to $7 from $55 and you can figure out I am not happy with this price. I need at least $25-$30 to breakeven.

Bitcoin is $12K which is ~60% of its ATH~price, ETH is at ~30% from ATH, NEO is just 8% of its ATH which is bad. Maybe things will change with NEO 3.0 but for now is not "doing very well".

Pretty damn critical when it's about to hit 20, it wasn't an expensive coin in the past for no f****** reason. Patience is a virtue.

I can agree with you it was not $200 for no reason, it was because it was a hell of a bullrun, with some projects going even x500.
But.. I don't think NEO will ever touch $200 again since Ontology is now on the game too, I know they complement each other and share the same team under the roof of Onchain but also they split the value of their token.

This being said, I see NEO somewhere above $50 but under $100 in the future. Still have a lot of respect to NEO and ONT and their team, and since they are the Chinese titans I hold a bag of both coins.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 [ANN] Elrond - Sharded layer one protocol with near instant TX speed on: August 20, 2020, 09:32:43 AM
I hope they will do something about the price because ever since the announcement eGLD token the price is in decline haven't sold my bag yet but getting a bit worried over here lol. BTW what's the sentiment around eGLD? Is the community for eGLD or against it?

Well if you ask me, I think this is normal. Not because of the announcement but because the price went straight up and is normal to bounce back a little bit.
As for the eGLD I can't give you an opinion since I didn't watched the project in depth, I only have a small bag of coins. Is there a link about eGLD token, to give a look? Thanks!

Got it!
Well I am not a native English speaker, To be honest I have searched for "bozoz" my bad Tongue
Anyway sorry for the off-topic I now take a step back from this thread because even if it was really funny, I (we) bumped the thread a lot in the last couple of days.
Ciao ciao!

I am also sad that your team's name is CryptoCoderz, where it should be CryptoLogoz or CryptoBozoz ..LOL  Cheesy

This is all the development that this coin will get in its entire life, changing a logo. The funny thing is that the logos are not even made by the devs, but by the community, so no effort for them, at all.

Btw I got the "CryptoLogoz" one, but not the "CryptoBozoz". Can you explain? LOL
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull run is coming? on: August 19, 2020, 12:42:25 PM
If the question is the the one on the title, well like you already know bullmarket is already here, not as spectacular as the 2017 one but is here, there are some projects out there that did went 20-30x from March dip.

Regarding CZ tweet: I don't see him saying bullmarket is here, he only said:
"We are seeing ATH in terms of system traffic. Higher than Dec 2017. Should be interesting to see what happens next."

Which means only that a lot of people joining his exchange, maybe due to intensive marketing of binance exchange. Nothing more, nothing less.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality Projects Revival on: August 19, 2020, 12:33:41 PM
In my opinion there is no point in reviving a project, no matter what are the conditions it failed. Why? Because if it failed once because team left, developers left (because no one is working for free) why makes me think it won't fail again, if a bear will come after they make the new IEO ITO?

I better put my money in a new coin, rather than a failed-revived project.
