I have been thinking lately about how investing in bitcoin is actually a great idea but also it can be really hard to make profit off bitcoin if you're a small Investor
Imagine this:
If bitcoin is at $64k and me as a small investor bought with $1k, for me to make 100% profit bitcoin will have to hit $128k, that is still feasible
But if I'm hoping to make a 200% profit on my investment bitcoin price will have to get to $256k, how achievable is that ? And if it's achievable how long is it going to take
Which brings me back to my question
Can small investors actually make good profit with bitcoin?
Or are there other ways to make money with bitcoin as a small investor rather than just buy and hold?
Based on what your expectations are with a $1k investment capital, it simply means you are looking for a quick way to get rich, and of which Bitcoin at this current stage is no more in that phase. A $1k investment as at 10 years back is a very large sum of capital to invest, and those who did then are on good profit now. So, if you invest $1k now and patiently wait for 5 years, you'll see positive feedback from the market, but if you want to see quick returns in a short period of time, you can try altcoins when the market is on a bullish trend or you can try gambling. One good bet can give you 100% or more, but when it comes to investment, any form at all, you need to be patient and wait for things to grow. |

Bitcoin has seen situations that made it strong over the years gone bye, and seeing same thing at this current time, it doesn't flinch anymore, rather it moves in its desired direction, not because of politics or some sort of hype from public figures, rather making its firm stand. |

Guys I need to ping you one more time and I kindly ask you to give a reliable response because it helps planning the final details before the thread is published. How many of you, if they don't qualify for the final during the first six qualifier rounds, would pay $50 for a ticket for the grand final? Or would actually be one, two, or three $50 tickets (two rebuys possible during the first 10 levels)? It would help a lot to finalize everything. Just assume the worst case and you don't make it top 3 or don't get a lot of knockout bounties. @osasshem I am willing to pay the $30, but is this $30 for every round through out the six rounds before the grand final? Also, participants who came out first 3, would they be given a free ticket to the grand final or it is only the first that will receive a free ticket for the grand final? Concerning the $50 final ticket, I will be willing to commit, but depends on how the six rounds turns out. I have lots of expenses tagged on me. The six rounds will determine my conclusion on the finale. Thanks. |

Hi guys,
after talking to Royse, my suggestion is to have a $5 buy-in for the qualifier rounds and those $5 will go towards a knockout bounty pot. That way we will have a $5 bounty per knockout. It makes the game more exciting and we have a small barrier to enter the tournament. In my opinion still tool low, but the goal is to find a middle ground.
Since Royse has a lot to do, I offered my help to count the knockouts. I won't be recording anything, so the idea is that there will be a google form and everybody has to submit the pokernow link for a knockout hand (or multiple), I will check all submitted links and credit the knockouts accordingly to you guys. There will be further details, but this is the idea we would like to stick to. The $5 buy-in is to be paid in USDT BSC.

I have always seen a cold storage as a means of storing large amount of Bitcoin for a very long period of time. This is because it is for a long term investment, and not for the short term. Also, there is no need of buying an expensive storage device to keep an asset that you will be spending in a short period of time, and also wanting to store assets worth less than the cost of purchasing the equipment/device. I wish to hold for a long term, but knowing well that my holdings might not be enough to purchase the storage device and still have something worth holding, its better to use a more secured wallet and keep my keys safe.

With the saying that the internet is not 100% secured is enough to know that storing important things like seed phrase is a risky decision to take. Manually storing it is way much safer. Except you keep it carelessly, it will not be easily stolen or lost.

I don't know why he paid and cancelled the trade but one thing I had in mind is that maybe he was having challenges with bank network or just from his network service. Cuz I know truly well that he didn't cancel the trade intentionally (who does that in the economy?)
So what do you think made him send money and cancelled trade?
Will you resend the token back to the vendor after paying and canceling the trade?
I don't really use bitget exchange, but I know there is time set for every P2P trade, which is on a countdown, and when the time has elapse, the trade automatically closes, that I think might be what happened for the trade to have closed. Just as you said who does that in the economy? On the other way round, bank network is another serious challenge we have in this country, and because of the bank delay, the trade timer on the bitget P2P has reached the time for the trade to end and the trade closes while the bank is still processing the transaction. This then made it look like the buyer closed the trade. For it to take a longer time for the buyer to respond could be that he is not always active online. Good to have a completed transaction between you two, cause its almost like the both of you are among the rarest persons we have in this country...  So long communication was made between the two persons, then refunding is possible. |

Going all in is a good crypto investment approach for long term investors, but knowing how unstable the market can be and how volatile the market is, for a moment, splitting the funds would be better, cause the market might still go down, as the season is known to be a bear season. Use some portion of the funds to buy now, and wait for the next drop to buy again. The speculations of market going even lower than what we have now is a reason behind this statement of mine. But for a long term investor, going all in with the mindset of a long term run will yield incredible profits for the next 2 to 3 years.
