Heya.

Figure i mine for a payout at nanopool hence i have some old eth laying there.
So i wanted to lower the payout from standard 0.1 ETH to 0.05 ETH. In the batch file for email adress would it be like on old claymore  workername/email adress   or some  other command.
this pool just have their own miner but i dont want to use that, and no step by step setup for these more popular miners.

%WAL%/%WORKER_NAME%/%EMAIL%

Cheers i figured it out.

I dont think its flashed, hard to remember which ones i flashed and not. Anyhow these sapphire cards have dual bios so i tried to switch but results seems to be the same around 7 sols .

Ravencoin and ETC seems to work just fine at standard hashrates hence why i was abit thoughtful about the beam hashrate i was getting.

Yes something is wrong. I get 7 - 8 sols with a RX560 (1200 gpu / 2100 mem) and around 16 sols with a RX470 4GB (1150 gpu / 2050 mem). What hashrates you have on ETC and Raven?

Perhaps its my radeon driver  version?
Its 20.2.2 version .

Although i read that blockchain drivers and newer should work.
Also i have compute mode enabled in wattman.

ETC gives me 21mh/s , card is not flashed for higher hashrate its original. with claymores with the straps i belive they did 25mh/s back in the day.
raven currently getting around 12mh/s .

Hmm yeah my beam hashrate seems very low also i can say it seems unstable if i for example pop xmrig for the cpu it can drop to 2sol/s  .

System is TR1920x , 16 gb ram and windows 10 os.

Update:   So MSI are in upcoming bios release for am4 boards making the headless mode work in all of their lineups from a320  to x570.

With MSI bios flashback button on the B450 boards and up this will be pretty amazing.

Im thinking maybe swap a 1600 to the newer 3100..
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: how to install amd blockchain driver on ubuntu 20.04 ? on: May 10, 2020, 01:13:56 PM
Hello,

I can't install the AMD rx580 blockchain drivers on ubuntu 20.04
I search the web but can't find a valid answer
either the command does not work, or I get an error during installation
if someone can help me please, thanks in advance

The amd driver is preinstalled, just install the openCL part.

Good guide here:   https://linuxconfig.org/install-opencl-for-the-amdgpu-open-source-drivers-on-debian-and-ubuntu

I'm looking for a few testers that can help work out the bugs in the next randomx pool.

Could you please point a few to:

foundation.biblepay.org:3001

The getting started instructions can be found in the pool at:

https://foundation.biblepay.org
Click Pool

Unfortunately I have to step out for a meeting, but you can probably figure it out.  Ill be back to help debug in a few hours.

Note:  You don't need to log in, this pool works the same as nomp does, anonymous users are welcome to mine.
Note 2:  Theoretically you will get paid even during testing because we are already logging the shares.

Sent a worker to new pool.
miner version 5.6.2

The leaderboard shows my adress but the rest of the stats seems frozen.

Code:
[2020-03-30 23:13:10.841] [foundation.biblepay.org:3001] read error: "connection reset by peer"
[2020-03-30 23:13:13.265]  cpu  accepted (35/2) diff 75000 [1] XMR-Charity (66 ms)
[2020-03-30 23:13:15.380] speed 10s/60s/15m 16152.0 16305.3 n/a H/s max 17150.1 H/s

Miner seems fine, got this message once but from miner all looks fine.

Where do people download the bbp xmrig software again?

https://github.com/biblepay/xmrig/tree/master/binaries

Is this the best location?

Yeah normally i just download directly from github, all about your taste i guess. Directly from pool page also a option.

Well I tried making a firewall exception and running as administrator but nothing showed up on the pool after I had submitted several shares.  I did as you suggested and checked my Monero stats, and yeah it looks like I am indeed generated Monero shares.  I took a close look at the output of the mining exe and I noticed that each share that was accepted was XMR.  I kept an eye on it for awhile and saw that most of the work I was getting was XMR.  Eventually I got a job from rx.biblepay.org-charity (as opposed to rx.biblepay.org), and that one turned into a valid share for XMR-Charity but it still did not show up in the pool stats.

Also something I noticed, when generated for biblepay.org-charity, it stops generating for XMR.  Is this normal?  Does it alternate between BBP and XMR?

Not sure whats the problem with no bbp shares, you are not alone.

As for the when its charity mining it stops like you say mining to you and instead to the monero charity adress. Its normal and its only xmr it does not alternate between xmr/bbp

i think Rob be sweating bullets fixing blockchain  Grin

Please do not post things that are not true here.

As you can see from the bottom of the OP post, violating those rules get your messages deleted and then you get banned after that.

Just to clarify, Borg is the only user so far that I know of that is not generating BBP shares.

My  bad my bad.. Just saw none of my rigs displaying any bbp shares and couldnt connect to rx.biblepay.org  pool either .

Anyways looks good now. Thanks

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ryzen 2600 XMRig how to get extra speed on: February 11, 2020, 08:54:35 PM
So you get higher hashrate with 6 instead of 8 threads that leads me to belive that you är running your rams in slot: A1,A2 or maybe B1,B2.

Most of times its channel A1 & B1 it A2&B2 so that you get dual channel and not single channel.

For the records my 14nm ryzen 1600s so 3800/4000 hashes @ 3.3ghz

So Yea check your motherboard manual for correct slots for your ram sticks.
