Thanks. I found another problem - under Import/Export - Paper wallet - the paper wallet popup page is blank - no codes and no text.

It should open in a new popup window, please check if your browser is blocking it.

Jeez, I'm not that dumb. You could have inferred that from the amount of data I gave you. The popup opens just fine, but the window is blank. The only thing the two accounts have in common is I deleted the initial key pair that the website generated and kept the vanitygen generated one that I imported.

I'm having a few problems with the website (tried on both Opera and Chromium):
Both of these should be fixed now. Thanks for the bug report.

Thanks. I found another problem - under Import/Export - Paper wallet - the paper wallet popup page is blank - no codes and no text.
Tested with two different wallets with:

Chromium browser under Ubuntu 12.04.
Opera browser under Ubuntu 12.04.
Firefox browser under Ubuntu 12.04.
Chrome browser under Windows 7.

all fail to display the QR code paper wallet. It worked at one time, I remember testing it.

I'm having a few problems with the website (tried on both Opera and Chromium):

1.  I can't import private keys generated with vanitygen. I've done it once successfully, but on a new account, I can't. I've tried two different ones. They have the format 5xxxxxxxxxxxxetc.

Aren't 5xxx addresses test net?  Either way I thought only 1xxxx addresses were valid?

That's a private address.

2.  Once an address is added, it can't be deleted, nor can the existing wallet-generated address be deleted from the archive. It says "You must leave at least one active address" even though there is already an active address. Even a "watched" address can't be deleted.

Should I be running "--no-submit-stale " when I use BFL (FPGA)?
309  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL "EasyMiner" Released. Reviews? on: June 02, 2012, 02:16:19 AM
EasyMiner needs the Microsoft .NET runtime in order to run; works with .NET 2.0, but might as well install the latest (.NET 4.0) and you should be good to go.

It loads fine, but doesn't recognize the BFL or the drivers aren't right. The BFL never shows up in the list.

Has anyone got EasyMiner to work on Windows 7 64-bit?  I've tried everything I can think of.
Is the "Load VCP" option supposed to be checked? Very annoying not to have a Linux version when most of the serious miners are using Linux.

My BFL arrived with 814 firmware instead of 832. Should I be concerned? I've upgraded it and ran it all night at 832 and it seems to run fine. I wonder why it shipped out that way?
312  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL UNIT 832 DEVICES on: May 30, 2012, 12:32:44 PM
I would be happy if they threw in a Smartie into the box before the ship a BFL:

... I personally hope for the AMD GPU route, lots of tiny chips with a scalable architecture....

I think BFL has already given us a clue that this will be the case.  They will be selling at least two different products a different price points. If you were to invest a huge sum of money to create an ASIC, you would only want to do it once. Then each product would have a different number of chips on it creating different price points for the consumer. Whether this means 1 or 2 chips or 9 or 10 remains to be seen.

I'm sure BFL has a good reason for jumping around but it is frustrating because every day of delay costs money.
316  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date on: May 22, 2012, 09:13:54 PM
I ordered 8, not 10.

The batch of 4 that shipped on 5/18 arrived 5/21. The other 4 have not shipped yet Sad

Don't know why someone who ordered after me has had their order shipped....

BFL told me they don't ship out in exact order. I paid with Bitcoin but PayPal orders several days after mine are going out first.

Zooming in to the one month view shows what I am getting at (looks pretty flat):

318  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ["WAIT LIST"] BFL Singles Order Date / Ship Date on: May 18, 2012, 12:10:12 PM
Seems like the delivery times are starting to flatten out. I doubt they will get much better unless BFL adds staff or orders drop off.

Using 3 cards with Win7, there are times that the cards stop mining and everything on the desktop disappear except the background. Tried disabling the OC of the cards but the problem remained.

Went back to 2.3.6 and been running 3 days now without hiccups, except for a slight increase in stales.

Try reducing the hash rate of the main card (the card connected to the display, usually the one closest to the CPU).
320  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mini Rig announcement by Butterfly Labs - 25gh/s on: May 12, 2012, 12:58:34 PM
If bitcoins completely disappeared would these machines have any resale value? I don't understand why everyone argues that they will not pay off even if it takes 2 years to break even, you still have the machine, say it is worth $5k after two years thats a 16% return. I may not completely understand the risks but sounds solid to me.

We would like to let all our clients know that, in case of Bitcoin failure, we will make all our units OpenSource,
and thus making it possible for the clients to sell their units to various industries at almost certainly higher price
than they purchased it in the first place.

Regards,
BF Labs Inc.

This makes no sense. Why would you not open-source now and make more money (according to you)?
