I like the idea behind it. Altough scammers will be scammers and they will always continue.
Its up to us to know what we are buying and from who we are buying. Prevention is the cure.
Even if they want to scam they can scam other forums .not here thats right my friend but reality is they can make easily alt accounts on this forum and continue. I have been succesfully warning against scammers and hunting them down so they will leave. Finally their is a sticky topic on the digital goods section so members atleast know their are scammers active. Altough i suggest the OP dont give a dime to these scammers cause they will take the money and continue. Rather its way more effective that some members stay active screening the digital goods section each day. I am doing it for free right now and i will continue to be a pain the ass of these scammers. I can easily spot them. New accounts selling keys, admins, ebooks, etc.. are 99.99% scammers. Especiaaly when they dont do escrow and have no vouches. I agree it's tough, I'm interested in the knowledge behind it also. Because some of these scammers are pretty smart, so it makes no sense to me why they can't make money legitimately. Prisons are full of these "masterminds" to, so it must be the excitement or rush they get from it. Because if they did apply that to good, they would be successful I think. |

Post a "Wanting to BUY" a Hero at .15 BTC you'll get one. I helped a guy find a hero the other day for exactly 0.15 BTC and it was a decent account. @NEOTOX can vouch for this as he escrow'ed for it. It might take a day or two, but you'll get one. 0.1 BTC though I don't think it's possible unless it has negative trust sorry :-( But a Hero account with neutral Trust around 500+ activity for 0.15 BTC you can find.
The normal price to pay is around .25 BTC, anything over that is crazy unless it has green trust or is about to become legendary...lol
I'll keep an eye out for you, but you better not be a scammer :-)

Please also Do aviod to add Annymous people to your Skype, First ask them where they came from, from where did they get your Username, Secondly DO NOT OPEN any Link that seems contaning some malware etc Please Do not Click on the Site, Files and Other Links before Fully verifying them Here is what happened Few days Ago, I dont know who was he/ She, She send me a Request at Skype, and I accepted, and Here is our some talk Screenshot   The link she provided me was using these character api.tracker and some other things, I immediately closed that link. I still Dont Whats her Purpose?  ________________________________________________ Now from few days I dont know who the F* Trying to Login to ANX account, and I even DONT know when Did I created an account on ANX lol Got 3-4 Similar Email   ^^ Im Still getting email from ANX Still, Every day receive 1-2 email but I never check that I think this is exactly what happened to LETYOUEARN, I think he posted something similar with the ANX snapshot. I think his account is still under control of the hacker too. |

In additional to hijacking account via skype. a friend of mine had similar experience via skype but, the advert was posted on criagslist rome. so user's should watch out for decietful listing on most classified site i.e craigslist. Lot of those scammer's are now streaming to less populated region i.e craigslist italy, cl spain ..ecc because they are much restriction on craigslist USA. Below is the name of the company and related link to their fake reputation & link building by this company. Their goal is to trick people to believe that they are offering service that will help block pop-up,pop under,toolbar exploit but, they will steal your personal information. they requested the following from my colleague : Current ip addresssphysical address for shipment of packageName and surname and valid office address if, any. Possibly, they use these info to disguise themselve Below are some of the link :Company Name : Clarity Adwebsite : www.clarityad.comhttps://blog.malwarebytes.org/malvertising-2/2014/06/a-look-at-a-double-dipping-advertising-network/https://blog.malwarebytes.org/malvertising-2/2015/11/video-ads-malvertisings-next-frontier/https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5wUbIjILxKMVzdTdERBdEQtWWs&usp=sharingNOTE : you'll notice that they disguise themselve in many instances. this is to fool people to believe that they are reputable company. That's some sick automated traffic. We definitely have to figure out a way to use these bots for something good for sure. A NON-scammy bot will probably only get 6 clicks a month though ...lol :-) |

Not only on skype even on facebook,I have seen so many sex related videos with a link to watch,this is how my friend's account got hacked ,first thing you do after you saw these kind of links is to report it and block these people ,and yes all the tools you have on your thread are all very useful

A good thing is that since the last week Skype no longer reveals your ip address to skype resolvers by searching a username. http://blogs.skype.com/2016/01/21/to-our-gamers-ip-will-now-be-hidden-by-default-in-latest-update/If a HOT Chic magically messages you through Skype saying she is lonely? Ignore her, it's probably an ugly dude on the other end anyway or it's definitely a bot that will try to get you to visit some url shortened link with malware galore. So just use pornhub like the rest of us have to…lol J/K I have no idea what pornhub even is.
I get messages from these bots occasionally and just find it funny, obviously never click their link but it can be fun to "play" with the bot by seeing what kind of ridiculous chat's it'll generate. Some of the bots are actually very well written so kudos to the original developers for that. After you run through a "conversation" when they send you the random affiliate link Do not click it! Do not sign up! Block and report the account!Edit: Worlds greatest coincidence? Just after sending this reply I got messaged by "theresa cwang" yet another bot. LOL LOL Right! I'm afraid to even open my Skype right now :-) |

Hey everyone looking for work, be careful of newbie users trying to convince you to use skype all the time. They might be trying to send you malicious files or links so they can steal your ________ (fill in the blank). So figured I'd throw this up and maybe stop at least 1 other person here from getting their account hacked or a Trojan injected through a malicious file.
The 3 4 tools below are COMPLETELY FREE to use, you don't need the paid versions. So use them :-) and save yourself the headache of losing your account or getting a malicious attack through a Skype scammer preying on innocent people looking for work or some horny young man looking to whack off. Installing the 3 FREE tools below should protect you from 90% of the lazy ass scammers out there.

These Skype issues seem to becoming more and more frequent these days so just thought I'd post this if anyone doesn't already know about the tools above. I even had a freelancer through Upwork try to send me a link to a malicious site he supposedly "developed" last month and I went ballistic, but the anti-exploit tool thankfully caught it, so no damage was done. Yahoo seemed to have his account hacked lately and then letyouearn seems to have been compromised as well. So thought this MIGHT HELP prevent the next person! If it doesn't? I at least tried :-)

Be careful everybody with accepting any files by way of skype. Lots of people looking for work are losing their bitcointalk accounts.
Not saying the OP is one of those people, just make sure you be careful what links you're clicking on and what files you're going to download via skype.

Well that would be totally up to you guys but I personally registered BitcoinCharity.org because I do like this BTC 100 idea to an extent, but I think in addition to just pledging bitcoin to the charity that agrees to accept BTC? We need to offer them cool and EASY ways TO ACTUALLY ACCEPT it as well. ONE Idea I had was the pyramid which I mentioned in an earlier post ( http://donatemedia.org/?page_id=105 having our own bitcoin api developed for it as we speak), we could easily make those blocks go to TOP 100 Donors instead of TOP 10. So to allow the charities we solicit to accept bitcoin, they would just come to my Bitcoincharity.org site, enter the receiving wallet address they'd like to use and a little code snippet is generated using our own api and everything (sort of like what blockchain.info does for their donor buttons), and the charities implement the snippet onto their site and they then can request the $1k or whatever the donation pledge was once the charity has been verified. Good way to also advertise bitcoin 100 too, because there could be a little link under the pyramid that directs possible NEW charities to bitcoin 100 as well. And it doesn't have to the PYRAMID Script, we could look into development of other cool scripts in addition to the PYRAMID script, the bitcoin auction scripts are nice and would benefit charities who sell donated goods, bitcoin charity raffle scripts could be developed, etc... I'm just throwing ideas out there right now, but the decision is ULTIMATELY up to ALL of you who have contributed and built up Bitcoin 100 to this point. I'd be glad to take it over as a Donate Media Inc. DBA OR we could focus new efforts with BitcoinCharity.org in building nice bitcoin only accepting apps and scripts for charities to implement. So whether it's just helping you guys promote bitcoin 100 the way it is, that works. If you would like me to take it over and try to revive it, that's cool to or like I said we could dissolve it and work everything into the BitcoinCharity.org scripts & app development. So half the pledge donations go into script development and the other half go into the approved charities who agree to place the scripts or apps on their site. No decision has to be made anytime soon, just offering some options. Once I'm officially launched with Donate Media and have the BitcoinCharity.org site up and running I'll have an ANN thread going.
