Hi Kano, Thanks for your efforts in making Bitmain hardware a finished product. I just updated my S2 to your "firmware". 2 issues came up, right after the update 1. I am noticing, the S2 will not connect to Eligius any more 2. It will see my local P2Pool as "dead" , though its up and I got other miners connected to it As you can see it is mining on Slush, which is the backup pool, even though Eligius is up.  |

After reseating everything, it powered on . Only one blade seems to be dead, I moved it around different slots and was able to figure out which one it is. Time to contact Bitmain ... It's #10 on the pic below.  |

Trying to troubleshoot an issue I've been having with mine. Once every few hours, my S1 will start a fairly quiet beeping session that lasts for 30-60 seconds. Hashing speed is degraded at this time. There is sometimes a louder beep announcing the end of the cycle.
It does not appear to be related to internet connectivity, as I monitor my pings fairly closely, and it seems stable during these outages. The miner is overclocked, but the issue happens even at stock speeds. The temps on the board seem fairly stable at around 45-46, though it drops into the 30s during these cycles. Overall HW errors fluctuate from .5-1%. Any ideas of what could be going on?
I used to have this same issue. Happened to all my Ants and no, it was not a problem in my network. Got it fixed with a firmware update, you should give it a try. https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/tree/master/firmwareLatest is antMiner_openwrt20140207.bin |
