Bitcoin is an alternative medium of exchange and to be an effective medium of exchange, it must be acceptable in exchange for goods and services. Bitcoin's use is still limited because only few stores or shops are accepting it worldwide compares to the fiat. But bitcoin can be used by people who want to avoid banks and other transactions that requires third party or middlemen. Bitcoin's economic function differs from fiat because it does not involve any government interventions.

Cryptocurrencies,I believe, are unpredictable and most of these personalites that predicts the future prices are just publicity-seekers. Others have possessed big amount of bitcoin and wants the price to go up like they wished so they make predictionsto boost the price up. During 2017 bullrun, some predicted that bitcoin will go up to $30k by the year end but this never happened. This year's prediction is from $25k to $100k, but no one can exactly predict what the price will be in this year end.

I've also learned some lessons well on my past mistakes and correcting it by learning more needed skills while trading. Mistakes are already part of my past learning and trading experience and it is the reason why I'm able improve my skills. Just recognize and accept your mistakes and learn from it by correcting it. Humans can't avoid making mistakes but we are also gifted with ability to correct and learn from it.

Some governments banned bitcoin in their areas making it hard for people to buy or sell bitcoin openly so they resort to underground exchanges for their transactions. Instead of banning bitcoin, China has tried to ban cryptocurrency exchanges and ICO, but the top coin proved to be permission-less and uncontrollable because according to a report, OTC and P2P trade was already exploded at that time. This proved also that a direct ban for bitcoin is impossible to be enforce by any government unless the internet is shut off completely.

Many traders, especially the experienced one are still making profits during bearish market because not all cryotocurrencies are in red or going down. For those who are victims of FOMO, they can always wait for the market togo up again as long as they did not sell their coins in loss. To the new traders, bearish market is the best time to learn trading but be sure you already the necessary skills to trade during this bearish situation.

Both bitcoin and ethereum are good to hold if you are long term investor. As of this time, the price of bitcoin below $11k and still going down, perhaps to gain strength before resuming its uptrend. Next year's halving might pump the price of bitcoin to a new all-time high. Ethereum is being updated to improve its features so this is might be one of the reasons why etgereum is still buklish. Other coins that has a good chance to go up in the coming weeks are BNB and LTC.

Until now, no altcoin has ever got close to bitcoin's market capitalization and it is always dominating the altcoins in when it comes to market share. The top cryptocurrency will continue to lead the market for long time until its supply comes to a limit or another coin as popular as the bitcoin will emerge to replace it. It closest rivals, ethereum, xrp and some promising coins will be having a hard time matching the bitcoin's market capitalization and dominance.

Year 2020 is a halving time for bitcoin and nobody will exactly know what the price at that time will be. Bitcoin might take a dip before and or on the day of halving because of uncertainty but uptrend may resume at a later date possibly with another all-time high. $100k is possible maybe several months after the halving if there is no negative unforeseen events coming along the way.

The high volatility of the cryptocurrencies will be the leading problem when countries decides to convert into virtual currency. Uncontrolled volatility or rapid price fluctuations may harm the economy instead of supporting it because the government can't do anything to control the situation. Governments might legalized cryptocurrencies eventually but won't going to convert to cryptocurrencies there are many things to be considered including the stability of economy.

If you often read news that related to cryptocurrencies, you will discover that many well-known companies especially in the banking sectors are adopting blockchain and planning to create their own cryptocurrencies in the future. Ripple or xrp is being utilized by some banks to digitalized and speed up the transfer of money. Some financial institutions are also buying bitcoin and other virtual coins so I believe that cryptocurrencies has a promising and bright future ahead.

JPM coins is a kind of stablecoin and will not going to public because it's only caters to the  bank's clients around the world. The coin is set to launch its pilot testing at the end of this year according to a report. Facebook's Libra coin is said to be a stablecoin also backed by a reserve and reportedly backed by low-risked assets to avoid volatility. These two upcoming coins might be use mainly for transferring money and will create a big impact on many cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency is said to be a medium of exchange like the fiat the fiat but it is more designed for the purpose of digital information. If you want to avoid using fiat which is being managed and controlled by the governments and central banks, cryptocurrency is the best alternative for your financial needs. Cryptocurrency has a lot more features than the ordinary and centralized fiats and you can use it anywhere in the world without the need for banks because it is decentralized and owned only by you.

When bitcoin start its bullrun, most of the altcoins go down because funds from them is shifted to bitcoin. But several altcoins can go up along with bitcoin and one example is ethereum. These strong coins can give profits during bullish and bearish time because of the continued support coming from its developers and investors. Given by its unpredictable nature, altcoin season can happen anytime, just for wait it.

Same situation here, a lot of bitcoin holders won't going to touch their bitcoin until their price target is reached because they all knew of the ongoing bitcoin bullrun that may possibly reach another all-time high. Hodl strategy, I believe, is most profitable when bitcoin is reaching another high. Another potential coin to hold is ethereum which followed bitcoin in 2017 and eventualky reached its all-time high in January 2018 might also follows bitcoin again this year

I agree that this coming months will bring the best of cryptocurrency bullrun especially bitcoin. The 2017 bullrun ended the price of bitcoin tumbling down to its lowest level followed by bearish market that lasted until december last year. The bullrun this year might be different because aside from possible new all-time high, the price might continue to go up next year unless some unforeseen events that willpossibly affect the price uptrend may happen.

All investments contains risk and you should know how to manage it before investing and the number one reason not to invest crypto is when you are not prepared to take the risk. Many successful investors or even traders suffered losses in their initial try but they learned their lessons well and tried again with a success. Invest in knowledge and skills first before investing in cryptocurrencies.

I think there is only one crypto king and that bitcoin and the soon to be created Libra is a type of stablecoin, pegged with the value of some fiats like dollar, meaning, its price will be steady, will not go up nor down. Libra won't going to compete against bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies and instead, it will help each other achieve their goals. Lubra is like xrp, a centralized currency, the only difference with them is xrp fluctuates rapidly while libra has fixed price.

While making this post, the bitcoin is on uptrend after hitting $11000 a couple of days ago. Some big institutional investors might be behind these pumps in bitcoin price and the possible of ongoing trade wars of US and China. If bitcoin successfully reaches $15k by the third quarter then there is a possibility of another all-time high by the year end.

It's been happening since bounty campaigns started in this forum and a lot of good projects suffers low prices in their coins or tokens because of dumping by both bounty hunters and the investors. Many newly listed took time to recover after the dumps but some of them manage to recover because of the continued developments that makes their token or coin attractive again to the investors.
