Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How can I mine a quark algo coin?
on: September 11, 2018, 06:00:34 AM

It is not quark coin, it is a coin with quark algo, I want to know how can I mine it. I get out of memory with 8GB RAM using cpuminer multi edittion. any suggestion?
Are you using Windows? Try to increase the Virtual Ram ( Page file) to a higher value or 32GB, then restart your PC. If you don't know how: Open searchbox/cortana, search for " advanced system settings" click " Settings..." under Performance. Click Advanced tab and click " Change..." under Virtual Memory, uncheck " Automatically change paging file size for all drives" then, activate " Custom Size" put your desired value, press 'ok' then restart when prompted. still can not mine. get "Out of memory" from cpuminer and these from setgenerate true: 2018-09-10 20:57:06 CreateNewBlock(): total size 1000 2018-09-10 20:57:06 ERROR: CheckTransaction() : coinbase script size=0 2018-09-10 20:57:06 ERROR: CheckBlock() : CheckTransaction failed 2018-09-10 20:57:06 CreateNewBlock() : TestBlockValidity failed

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: is there any bitcoin commandline tool that give me this info without fullnode?
on: December 11, 2016, 03:18:11 PM
I need to get number of confirmation of a transaction. I know I can do this using bitcoin core but I need a tool that do not need a local copy blockchains. also I can not use any 3rd party API. it should work in linux.
Main problem there. It is quite hard if you choose not to use a third party API. If you are facing storage constraints only, I would recommend running Bitcoin Core with pruning turned on. If not, would a SPV client suffice? Electrum provides a command line and it doesn't require much resources. That is the best I can think of. electrum doesn't provide confirmation counts I would recommend running Bitcoin Core with pruning turned on could you please explain more? thanks

Bitcoin / Electrum / question about master key importing in electrum
on: December 06, 2016, 12:48:07 PM
I have several (more than electrum gap limit) address that generated using one master private key. My question is that will electrum list and calculate balance of all address correctly when i just import that key? And second: Will it add newly received address of that key automaticly and update balance or i should add address manually?
