User Activated Hard Fork? But who wants a hard fork?

Edit: which users
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can cryptocurrency make real money disappear? on: June 14, 2017, 04:28:19 PM
Fiat currency has a tendency to devalue, but this is still real money, and more than ninety percent of the people on the planet rely on it more than any other form of money. But I think that this can be reversed in 20 years or something like that, when people feel more comfortable with this kind of innovation.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Altcoins to Trade/Invest on: June 14, 2017, 04:19:09 PM
If you want to stay safe, BTC and LTC. This is probably not the best time to invest in other cryptos, most of them pumped and hyped.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum SCAM? on: June 14, 2017, 04:07:34 PM
I fucking hate color codes.

Anyway, if Ethereum is premined and the owner is holding 77% supply or whatever, worth some $14bil, why not just sell it all? With that much money he would be up there with the big dogs. Not just his own future secured, but 10 generations would have an easy life.

No, if he has 77% supply he can just sell them. They'd soon become worthless.
I think none of them have sold yet, that's why it's so easy to pump.

More than seventy percent? I did not know there was so much premine. That's a serious concern.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - the scam is being pumped hard now don't fall for the trap on: June 14, 2017, 03:52:35 PM
Only two DAG coins in the market? hmm... matter of time until someone fork one of these.

What would be the best way to distribute this?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum bubble will eventual burst. on: May 21, 2017, 03:43:14 PM
You have to be brave to buy it even at that target. Once people realize that the problems are in the fundamentals, the bottom line will be difficult to catch.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin is the most undervalued right now? (list) on: May 03, 2017, 05:48:12 PM
There are many altcoins that bring innovative features, but at the moment it will be difficult to find some underpriced, mainly due to the fact that most cryptocurrencies have already been pumped.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: START coin on: April 18, 2017, 10:02:43 AM
I see that market capitalization is really low, but the currency has already been more popular in the past. Does this coin have superior technical aspects compared to other cryptos?
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: April 03, 2017, 10:49:07 PM
Well, the biggest mistake in trading is trying to invest without having the proper preparation. The market is full of people who think they are experts, and such people end up losing money to people who really take this job seriously. The rule of thumb is to never invest in what you don't know.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours That Dash Will Kill Bitcoin on: March 04, 2017, 04:23:09 AM
Thanks for the chart, but I think in terms of decentralization Bitcoin is superior. In addition, from the information I have Dash allows users to mix transactions, making them confusing, but not totally anonymous. In this sense it seems that Monero is more anonymous. And that raises another question... why does Dash have a market capitalization greater than Monero?
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So Iconomi got dumped, who lost money? on: February 16, 2017, 11:45:44 PM
It's hard for a coin to remain stable in the market when Bitcoin is rising in value, but I expected Iconomi to get a better performance. Anyway, it is still in the top 15 on coinmarketcap, with a relatively good trading volume.
53  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in casinos on: February 01, 2017, 11:22:56 PM
If you intend to earn a percentage of the house's earnings, then you should look for casinos that give you the option of investing in bankroll. There are many options, but not all will give you a good return, so I think deep study is needed before investing in any casino.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: January 17, 2017, 01:52:44 AM
The question is a bit subjective. There are different ways to make money, and in all of them your dedication, what you are producing and the market conditions, are the factors that will define whether you will make a lot of money or not. If you choose trading, there are several markets, like Bitcoin market, altcoins market, forex market, among others... you need to identify which market has the most potential and how you would be able to adapt to it.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mistakes in trading that lead to loss of money on: December 29, 2016, 12:16:24 PM
The worst mistake is probably not knowing the right time to take the profit, and knowing how to wait for the next round. In other words, one of the biggest mistakes is not having the right timing. This parameter is not easy to achieve, but the difficulty decreases as experience is gained.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity on: December 26, 2016, 01:10:29 AM
Well, the way I see it, I think gambling fits more like an activity whose purpose is to bring fun. There is a small possibility for profit, of course, but there is no stable income from it, this is more like a game. There are people, in fact, who can make it a profession, but this is something rare. Therefore, I think it would be too risky to follow this path.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: December 08, 2016, 08:26:45 PM
If Bitcoin has power today, it's because people need it. To get where it is now, with a market capitalization of more than twelve billion dollars, Bitcoin had to prove that it's a useful technology, that solves real-world problems, and that can make life easier for many people.
