1  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: June 22, 2014, 05:27:27 PM
I wonder what the chances are that anyone having sold shares through CT since the cease and desist will be prosecuted.
Zero.  CT is nothing more than a secondary market.  So long as Ken isn't there selling new shares to new unaccredited investors.
On March 6th on Cryptotrade there was a large buy order set at .00001, and any order above that would get sold into immediately. Someone dumped over 1.3 million shares at this price in a several hour span (most at .00001001), then they pulled their buy order. It definitely felt like someone with access to the "issue-new-shares" button.

Dividends are not paid out until after the 21st.  I would suggest for larger shareholders, if you want out of this at least wait the small time frame for the divs.  You have waited this long, what is another 12 days.  Come the 22nd, I'm sure most of us expect divs to be paid since the 21st is a Wednesday and Ken likes to operate and address shareholders on Wednesdays.

Any speculation on the divs per share come the 22nd?
They'll be a fraction of the current share price - after 6 months of accumulation - and no clear indication of future potential. A logical argument could be made for selling now.

Since shares may stay untradable for a long time, I think shareholders would appreciate an asicminer-style direct dividend payment. IE use satoshis to signify number of shares, and pay out that ~55 BTC sitting in the mining account. Verifying share ownership in some way would help a lot with investor sentiment.

I'd really like to mine for some Gold LeBeoufs right about now. Am I the only one?
5  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 04, 2014, 02:05:26 AM

You are not taking into account that Ukyo may do something legally to keep us from recovering our BTC.  So, that is why we are having a fire sale on these shares.

Why would that prevent him from doing something legally? Is it basically a "oops, already sold them" defense?
6  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 04, 2014, 12:00:03 AM

The shares are not Ken's, they are ActMs. You have to be pretty dense or just simply love slinging complete bullshit (which is absolutely the case with VE  Kiss) to say that Ken recouping his losses to Ukyo is an exit strategy. And yes, the way the corporate lien works, as I understand it, is that Ken only gets to recoup his company's loss from Ukyo (106BTC) by executing the lien. The rest would go back to Ukyo to deal with his debts as he sees fit.

As usual we have a pretty simple, cut and dried scenario here being obfuscated and fudstered. Real neat.

So when Ken lowered the price, Ukyo lost out on ~2185 BTC. Now there is no "the rest".

How is that any better than simply destroying the shares? Please educate me on whatever arcane code of conduct we're following.
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 03, 2014, 11:42:16 PM
All 10mill shares get divs no matter what people pay for them and we can only take 106btc from these assets - no more. Its not so hard to understand.

If Ken sold them at 0.01 we would still only make 106 btc from them.

nav there are no rules Ken can offer them to the market at any price - what rules??
So you're telling me if someone had bought up all 230k shares at .01, Ken would have sent the excess BTC back to Ukyo?

Obviously Ken can do whatever he want because he's the only one with shares, but from a business standpoint it doesn't make very much sense. And I have to agree with VE that it comes across very much like an exit strategy.

Just call the share value .0005. Boom, we've got 115 BTC worth of assets back from Ukyo. If they appreciate in the future, the company will be in even better shape.

navitatl

You don't understand lien. We can not legally take any more than 106 btc from these assets. We can't keep the divs then sell shares to the value of 106btc.
Then why were they all for sale at .001? Because the rules are made up as we go along.

9  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 03, 2014, 11:22:44 PM

You're basically throwing away .002 "investor guaranteed" BTC per share when you sell at that price. It's a very questionable choice IMO.

That's not correct. Every share gets the same div payout and it doesn't matter who owns them or what they paid. ACtM will only get their lost money back from this no more. So the price they go for has zero impact on us so long as we make our BTC back.

If each share is going to receive .0025 in dividends, then selling them for .0005 is an undervaluation of company assets, and a poor decision.

Hold the shares, let the dividends flow back into the company. If you have to sell them at a "bargain" to get rid of them, why sell them at all. Do you need the BTC, Ken?

I don't speak up much on here but this is choice reflects VERY poorly on the company and your opinion of its future.
10  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 03, 2014, 11:17:03 PM

Just want to recover Active Mining BTC, while we can.  These are a bargain and should go very quick.

That implies little confidence that each share will receive .0005+ in dividends in a reasonable time frame. Otherwise THAT would be the best way to "recover Active Mining BTC".
11  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: February 03, 2014, 11:09:37 PM
To recover the 100 BTC owed to Active Mining plus cost.  Ukyo had 10 days to pay Active Mining the 100 BTC plus cost and he has failed to pay that.  So, we are selling his shares to pay his debt.
Wouldn't it make more sense to just destroy his shares, rather than push the price down to pre-IPO levels before anyone even has the chance to trade?

You're basically throwing away .002 "investor guaranteed" BTC per share when you sell at that price. It's a very questionable choice IMO.

Ukyo's 230K wall on Crypto Trade has just moved down to .0005!
Another shot at IPO #1 prices   Shocked
Why would you do this, Ken?  Huh

I still remember cringing at that "x-1" bit.
14  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK](SFI) Seedcoin Fund IPO 3rd Round NOW OPEN on: January 05, 2014, 01:04:08 AM

How many shares sold to date?

pls check https://www.havelockinvestments.com/fund.php?symbol=SFI

number after "Units outstanding" is the number of units sold. If you go to the tab "public offerings" on that page you can see the number of units sold for each block of 500,000 shares and remaining number of units for current block.

Or you could have just told me how many shares sold to date. Never mind.

Shareholders, please amend if necessary and repost an improved version and together we can move this thing forward;

I think the shareholders should nominate ONE person to do all the talking with Ken to cut down on the noise. And I'd like to propose you, because there can be no doubt you are loyal to the company.

We tried this with the "PR" position. It didn't work out. Ken stated last night on IRC that he would not give unique information to any shareholder, as that would create an environment for insider trading. Any news will, more than likely, come through the announcement thread.

Hi kleeck, if Ken replies favourably and agrees to fortnightly updates, would you be happy to assimilate shareholders queries to present a simple template that Ken could work from?  This would be a one off involvement and Ken could chose to use it or not.  It will, at the very least inform Ken as to what we are asking of him in these updates. We could PM you and and then you could post your results here.  Thanks.

I just want to voice up here and say I don't agree with asking anyone to volunteer to act as a POC for the nutjobs on here, especially with the "doxxing" of personal photos and info that's been going on. Only real long-term solution is to permanently migrate off of this forum.

This is hilarious. Such a pathological need to feel important and relevant.

So what are all the trolls going to do now that they can't affect the share price. BOOO Hoooo..

I'm guessing they'll continue to provide strong indicators of antisocial tendencies and personality disorder, and the occasional chuckle from the sane readers.

My Bid:
0.00055 price x 10,000 shares. = 5.5 BTC

Ken you got allot a nervous twitchy people sitting around their offices refreshing this thread constantly (myself included)... I hope you can appreciate the weight of that Wink

Nah, he's smart enough not to give too much of a shit. Get off your computer and go enjoy life a bit.
