441  Economy / Services / Re: Market and Rank Your Site Today! | Social Media likes and SEO on: April 12, 2013, 06:51:51 PM
I couldn't imagine operating like you're doing.

You are trying to justify to people who don't run competitive online businesses why the equivalent of spare change you're asking for SEO (specifically, as I personally would/do not work in the other services) is a good cost.

I believe in the free market, and this is your thread, but you may want to invest the time in perfecting one of those crafts and actively promoting it to real business owners.

We charge $600 a month minimum for SEO, and that's small town stuff,   if you're a Boston attorney, $3500,   if you're a national chain or provider, 5 figures.   There's more value in SEO (assuming you can provide the service, not just link spam) with companies that can budget for it and understand the benefits.

Just food for thought.

443  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Smallest CUDA Install File? on: April 12, 2013, 06:27:48 PM
Hi guys,

I was looking into the software required for GPU mining, and I found that the packages are rather large.

109MB for Open CL from ATI

and 1GB for Cuda from Nvidia.

Do you guys know of any thinner installs?   I want to put together something to help people with GPUs doing nothing simply get into mining, and trimming these installs would go a long way.

Any thoughts or information would be greatly appreciated.

You mean "sure", and drugs doesn't mean we're selling heroin over the internet my forum dwelling friend.  Drugs (pharma, etc) are some of the most competitive keywords on the internet, was the point I was making.  That we have presence in large fields.

Maybe you typed that while drunk, since you mistyped the 3 letters in SEO.  I'm not judging.

We're still looking as well , so please PM ! Smiley

This is basically a rehash of my thread in Gambling, I believe this as a more appropriate spot. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=172790.0

Hi guys,

So we are looking to get into Bitcoin Services, and gaming is where we want to start. We need someone with experience in building games.   We have established connections with a top casino/sportsbook software company, so that  is handled, we just will need some converting to the Bitcoin model.

What I am looking for is our go to guy.  We have designers on staff,  but we do not have detailed knowledge of interacting with the blockchain and how all of these games function on a logical level.  we want to emulate the success of some of these  well made games , while improving the service aspects where we think there are inroads to be made.

If you have the ability to do this, in a secure and skilled manner, and want to work with a company with a track record of successfully entering and maintaining market relevancy, please PM me.

A few of our rankings are

#3 nationally on Google for "SEO Quote"
#4 nationally on Google for "SEO Service"
11,000 different city/state "[CITY] SEO Quote" keywords ,  like #2 Boston SEO Quote

We have top rankings in Adult, Video Gaming,  Drugs, and some of the most competitive fields on the internet.

We pay well, and we are looking for someone to be with us for the long term. If you need help with your own personal goals and projects we'd be happy to assist you in reaching them.

Looking forward to working with the best and brightest!

447  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling my two Avalon ASIC Units from Batch #2 on: April 10, 2013, 10:13:52 PM
I'm waiting for BTC to hit my account via wire, Gox said it could be 2 more days based on their worst case scenario (5 bd) as soon as that hits the money will be in John's account.

If Avalon won't change the shipping address that is fine with me.     Instead you will ship it to John, he confirms working properly, and he ships to me and releases your funds.

If there is any issue with that please let me know.

Best,
Ryan
448  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 1x Avalon Batch #2 Preorder on: April 10, 2013, 10:11:55 PM
Please let me know what the final top bid you receive is, and I'll gladly outbid it.  I wasn't checking this thread, but I do need these machines.

Best,
Ryan
449  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling my two Avalon ASIC Units from Batch #2 on: April 10, 2013, 04:18:53 AM
I was thinking the same thing.  I would assume send to John,  John verifies the machine works as intended and then etc.   for this John needs compensation, but that appears to be the only logically secure means.

If anyone has a better idea fire away!
450  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling my two Avalon ASIC Units from Batch #2 on: April 10, 2013, 02:04:56 AM
We are purchasing 1, so 1 is still available. I want to make that clear so hopefully you find a second buyer.

John, thanks for replying,  escrow is the only way to do something like this, ill pm you.

It's late here on the easy coast but if you want to talk more specifics gami please
Pm me.   I want to get this organized and take any potential risks our of this for you and I both.

Best

452  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling my two Avalon ASIC Units from Batch #2 on: April 09, 2013, 12:11:29 AM
I'll take them both.

John, you're a mod here, and acting as escrow, so you'll be the one holding my money and receiving his machine?   That's a lot of value in your hands, and while the only reason I feel comfortable even talking about this transaction is because you are involved I would need some personal details to know who I am actually dealing with here.

If that's not out of line, and the seller agrees we can move forward.

300 BTC is a fair price for 2 pre-orders for B2.

Since the Avalon owner is also a member of this forum I'd politely hope he would verify the orders and such.
453  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buying Avalon ASICs (not pre-orders! :P ) on: April 08, 2013, 07:21:54 PM
Viceroy,

Best of luck in all of your endeavors, as previously stated I bet you're a blaring success.   Smiley

Skye,

Yea I really didn't mean it as an insult or as a steal. The price is climbing so rapidly,  you still have to gauge a real world valuation to it outside of BTC speculation. A pile of cash is a very nice thing to some people, but I believe if someone had the foresight to buy an ASIC prior to this market rise that they wouldn't really be interested in selling it.   Still, I have to let any potential person know that I'm buying.
454  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buying Avalon ASICs (not pre-orders! :P ) on: April 08, 2013, 07:06:31 PM
You just considered a currency that's value fluctuates 15+% daily to be known income.  I think that's unwise, but that's a position you're welcome to hold.

Viceroy, I don't even know what to say lol, you clearly don't know how threads work.  You survived 200+ posts with that kind of etiquette, I'm sure you are a success among successes!
455  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buying Avalon ASICs (not pre-orders! :P ) on: April 08, 2013, 06:57:26 PM
I do believe there is a difference in assumed value and a pile of cash.  Alas what do i know?  Wink

If someone has one and wants to sell it, I'm sure I can give you the most money for it, but it looks like a "farm" will not happen right now Smiley

Good luck everyone
456  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Buying Avalon ASICs (not pre-orders! :P ) on: April 08, 2013, 06:45:18 PM
Well, like I said the price would be negotiable.   And I did state we had 40-50k to spend on hardware.

Obviously the price of BTC is variable, and right now it's fantastic,  these machines are in high demand, and obviously sales would have occurred outside of retail.

Though calling people idiots doesn't seem too enlightened. Smiley

457  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy] Avalon ASICs Batch #4 on: April 08, 2013, 06:37:44 PM
Don't you think you may want to wait on this until Batch 4 is announced as a production?

Though I do fully believe they'll continue to make these, as the market calls for it.

Saw you address this while I was typing.

Best of luck buddy.
458  Economy / Computer hardware / Buying Avalon ASICs (not pre-orders! :P ) on: April 08, 2013, 06:34:40 PM
Hi,

Below I've copy/pasted my introduction from the Newbie forum.    In summary, we're buying Avalon ASICs, at a fair value to current and expected rates.  We would be willing to pay $20,000 per batch 1. I saw pre-orders on ebay selling for 19-20K but that all looked scammy.  If you're in the US and have an ASIC let me know, we'd be happy to fly someone out and do the transaction in person with you.  We're serious in what we do, and really look forward to this market. If you're outside of the US we can have that set up as well, but please PM or Skype, or whatever is easier for you.

If you think $20,000-30,000 in cash is a poor valuation, please let me know and we can negotiate. We will give you the most money for your ASIC. period.

We're looking to spend 40-50k right now on hardware,  to leave adequate operating space for the casino and some other infant ideas that hopefully can help drive the business forward.

I'm one of the owners at Rethink Networks, we're a top ranking SEO and internet marketing firm.  We currently rank #3 nationally for "SEO Quote" , and #4 for "SEO Service".  Prior to offering our marketing services commercially, we've been utilizing it internally for own businesses for nearly a decade.

We have established businesses in adult, drugs (legally, nothing shady like pharma) ,  mortgages, financial planning and a huge affiliate network.   I love expansion, and providing a helpful, intelligent service more than anything.

We also own a network of video game services sites, that are run and managed by US citizens (Panama for legal purposes),  rather than underpaid, overworked Chinese sweatshops.   That's what initially had me interested in BTC a few years ago,  offering it as a checkout option on our gaming sites, which also rank very high for their respective game keywords.   With BitPay I see that opportunity, so I'm looking to have that worked into a properly converting checkout.

So that's progressive and should be fun. We will offer BTC to the MMO gaming audience in a crisp and organized way, and we'll also be offering additional incentives for people paying in BTC.

My real interest though is in getting a proper farm established so we can generate BTC and start offering services to the community specifically.  There's always room for an exchange with proper service and CS skills,  but the legal hurdles have me a bit hesitant for that.

We're thinking Casino, and Sportsbook,  which is a model we already had built prior to BTC taking center stage as it has done.  But that is done a million times already as well, so not too exciting.

What do you , as bitcoin enthusiasts, want to see? What type of services do you want offered to you, or for bitcoin ?

Anywho, so that's who I am, and that's what we do.  If any of you are looking for internet marketing advice,  please feel free to PM me or email me it's ryan AT rethinknetworks DOT com.  My skype is also my username. Please say where you came from so I accept it

I feel like I'm late to the party, but I look forward to getting to know this community and its goals very well!

I think the rules are fine, but this Whitelist thread just doesn't seem monitored Tongue

Instability breeds the need for more practical means.  Bitcoin will be growing for a while.

I'm really excited about it, from a non-speculative view.
