801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance, BitMEX and KuCoin have delisted FTX Token pairs from their crypto excha on: November 18, 2022, 11:17:14 PM

As expected, FTT token will be delisted by other exchanges because of its fiasco.

The FTT/BTC, FTT/BNB, FTT/ETH, and FTT/USDT trading pairs have been deleted off Binance's platform, according to the company, since they did not pass recent checks. The FTT/BUSD pair is still accessible on the market, the exchange stated.
Funny for an exchange that is trying so hard to promote it's shitcoin BUSD. Why did they delist FTT/USDT then? I doubt if it was about volume

It is also possible because they have access to BUSD and are willing to be responsible if ever problem arises.  It really sounds funny but it is CZ decision, if we are against it, better to create our own exchange and do things we wanted to do.  Grin

It is a matter of time when other exchanges will follow these examples of delisting FTT token pairs.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling techniques on: November 18, 2022, 11:01:39 PM
Yup, dice is the life saver. However if you play on casino like Roobet then you will find different such games which can give you lot of money back to save yourself getting out of the casino due to no cash.  Cheesy
Like I am always trying my luck on mines, towers, crash, dices and making my way up to the good returns. Towers is the deadliest game for me and it could give you huge bucks in short clicks!

In my opinion the best technique is to play the game which you love the most and is always friendly when you play. It should be giver and not the taker one. Obviously it's algorithm, so be cautious and have more fun.

I heard dice in wintomato is quite generous.  I read somewhere in this forum that he got a good win in wagering dice with a strategy of alternate roll over strategy.  Like on the first bet he will bet roll under with 50% chance then the next bet is roll over.  I don't know if it is a good strategy for longer session, or it is just a beginners luck since Wintomato is still a new crypto casino.  Anyway, I believe that there is no perfect strategy in crypto gambling.  It will eventually fail because of the house edge that will kick-in in the long run.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: There is Hope at the End of the Tunnel. Don't Give Up. on: November 18, 2022, 10:42:03 PM
You think everyday is yours? Well that wasn’t Sams day and he lost it all. I am pretty sure he is poor by number but not by his bank account. He was billionaire with sound brain so he must have invested and saved up lot of money along the way. The fact is, we can not be rich in the crypto all the time and not all of us can be rich at the same time if you ask me. If someone is buying then someone is selling and it depends whether they are selling or buying in loss/profit. For Sam it was tragic, we are already in the bear, we already lost big chunk of money from the market and then FTX happened. What could have he done? Just wait and watch.
Agree with what you said about us not being able to continue to be rich in Crypto because sometimes we also have bad luck there and maybe even more often than actual profits.
But with this, we can also know that sometimes things that are expected are not always realized in real terms, so we really need a few moments to make this better, although there are still sometimes things that of course you don't really want, just like in Sam's case. and this FTX.

The thing is, a person must be honest on his works.  Don't try to take advantage people trusting people because it may back fire one day. Just like what happened to SBF.  He has been exploiting his FTX exchange client.  Instead of directly acquiring the investments through FTX, SBF created Almeda to tunnel the clients funds into investment and take the profit directly by himself.  I think SBF had done enough fooling and cheating around, so this time he must take responsibility of all his wrong doings.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: November 18, 2022, 10:25:43 PM
The best way to earn profit in this bear market is to buy and hold. If you have a lot of extra money without which you can go for next 2 years then you can invest for long term. And if you can't do it then you have to invest for short term. When the market is a little down, you should buy and when the market is a little up, you should sell.
Classic buy low and sell high strategy works usually but holding for life is not always good idea for obvious reasons. Unfortunately market price can go lower low points and bear market can continue for years, will you hold that much? That is the question you should ask yourself before investing and taking risks with this investment strategy,IMO.

True, actually scalping if learned is good enough way to generate profit from the volatility of the market.  I think is one of the best way since if we are holding, all we can do in bear market is to hodle and accumulate.  Unless we learned the effective way of scalping, we should study more about the techniques and dos of don'ts of day trading.  It will take time but if we learned the technique then I believe we can easily get profit even In a bear market.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SBF BEGGED INVESTORS on: November 17, 2022, 11:35:03 PM
It may have been a good marketing for any company or individual to salvage the people who lost a lot of money but it's just too late for SBF and his "beloved" FTX or Alameda. Nobody wants to touch a company that was poorly managed and facing a lot of legal battles both from regulators and disgruntled investors. It's not worth the risk.

True, I think this plan of SBF to beg money to investors will not work out.  The exchange had already declared bankruptcy, I don't know why SBF still begged investors for fund.  Besides, I think no one will trust SBF anymore after all this FTX-Almeda fiasco.  And worst SBF may go to jail if he found guilty as charged.
806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie infinity price prediction: Future of AXS? on: November 17, 2022, 11:16:44 PM
I skipped it long ago when some youtube influencers saw that infinite money making game and did calculations of how much they would gain in a year if they bought enough. That sounded so stupid and was an insult to any research skills so i skipped the whole game.

I didn't see any more point for it when it started as i do now. Granted that early adopters made money while i was waiting for gods unchained to start so i might be a little bitter but i had a change to invest to it and i can't get my head around it why that was so popular. Then again people like stupid and simple things so in hindsight, why not.

What it comes to price. I wouldn't count on it never going up again. Too many dissapointed people and reputation of a failed project.
It's really unlike it to go up again. The infinite supply of SLP made real inflation and a decrease in the popularity of the game. Well, this is what we humans are for.
When something is beneficial and profitable, we're there but it's not really a sustainable model so, there has to come to solutions that will only benefit the developers at first and also the early adopters. Sad to say that, I was one of the optimistic folks on this game and its tokens before but not anymore today.

I think there is still a chance for SLP to go up but it will probably take a long time.  Right now there is a decrease of SLP production, then SLP burn is also implemented, although the effect won't be noticeable right now, it will have a huge effect if done regularly in a long period of time.  Also, I believe there will be times that whales will pump the price so we should be at a look out at that incident if we plan to sell our SLP holding when it pump.

Dont know if its just me, but why the site is really loading up that slow on accessing it or even trying out the refresh the page?
Current connection: 150mpbs
PC specs : Ryzen 5 2600 16gbRAM

Cleared out cookies and caches if this is really about browser problems but i do still experience the same problem.
Overall, i have accessed it out after some unusual waiting time and it turns out that the design is good.
I do love black theme and games offered even though they are that usual or common but still better.

Do you have plans on launching signature campaign?

The site loading fine on google chrome but I find it not loading on edge browser.  If you are using google chrome then probably it is your connection that is slow, maybe an intermittent one.

Welcome to the forum, I find your announcement post attractive so I go check out your site, it is quite fast and the I like it when the registration is simply connecting our wallet to your site.  The deposit is quite fast and just a click a way, no copy pasting of addresses.  It is easy and fast.  Currently trying your dice game but I hope you have an option to speed up the autobet result.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Repeat History ? on: November 17, 2022, 10:14:46 PM
Starting at the peak of 2013, then the history repeats in 2017, and again in 2021.  Do we still have to doubt bitcoin repeating its history?  I think Bitcoin had established a cycle given the previous history of its attaining and breaking records of ATH every 4 years.  So the question of whether Bitcoin will repeat its history can be answerable with yes.  Besides all throughout human history, the same kind of event happened and keeps on repeating.  It may not include the same people and place, but the core of the incident is the same.  This is solid proof that Bitcoin has huge chance of repeating its history again.
We are now confident that every 4-year cycle is really going to happen. Yet, some people never see and understand it but rather make their other market assumptions, of course, that was their opinion as well.

Many people base their assumption on what they are personally thinking without looking at the possible evidence that the history is already repeating itself.  Look at the price now, the current price today is the price of BTC during 2018, thus price history of Bitcoin repeats itself.  Now the trend and cycle of breaking ATH also repeats itself, and I believe will also repeat itself after the 2024 halving.

However, with the course of the market trend since January, we already know that dump will still dominate the market this year, and no signs of a Bullrun. That is why we also need to make HOLD become habitual as this is certainly needed here in crypto as I can see that this bear season will stay until next year.

Well there is no bull run in the year after the ATH is recorded.  So it is expected to happen this year when the new ATH was just recorded a year ago.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The pump of Trust Wallet Token (TWT) on: November 15, 2022, 01:55:04 PM
I recommend reading the posts in this topic on trust wallet security issues: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5420819

Trust Wallet is not decentralized and it is not open source. This means they could possibly have access to their user's keys and obviously, being centralized, if something did happen like if they were hacked for some reason, that sensitive information would be going over to the hackers. And your coins with it.

So even if we see a pump of the Trust Wallet Token by nearly 200%, I would still stay away from it. The size of pumps should not be your measure for the quality of wallet/other services.

I never used trust wallet, somehow I am skeptical because of what is discussed on that thread. I am already have metamask for the supported altcoin wallet, and electrum for BTC, I don't think there is a need for me to use trustwallet.

About the current price, I do not think the collapse of FTX has something to do with the price surge.  Remember the fund inside FTX is somehow frozen so there is no way users of FTX will move their fund to trustwallet.  What more contribute to the pump I think is the support of Binance but either way I believe this is just a short pump that will be followed by huge dump.  So better get out while still in profit. and do not get FOMOed.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the Bear take control long-term? on: November 15, 2022, 01:35:40 PM
How will the crypto market perform post-market turmoil? Will the bear take control long-term?

Definitely market will recover so from the bottom, the market will slowly recover and transition to bullish market.  Since you had stated post-market turmoil, we can assume that the sentiment of market is starting to get bullish. The bear market is always longer than bull market, we have seen the current bear market extend to almost one year and may go further than that.  The one hope of bullish market is on 2024 which is more than a year from now, so possibly we still have a bear market next year.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ftx hacker bought 7000 eth on: November 15, 2022, 01:14:59 PM
This mean FTX has a bad security and the team can't make a quick decision to freeze the ETH before the tokens arrived on the hacker wallet, but ETH CEO e.g. Vitalik Butterin and his team should be blamed too. Actually ETH is a centralized token, so it's possible for the CEO to freeze the token even though it's on non custodial wallet. This is why I never trust centralized exchange and coin, they can wrongly freeze someone coin and they're not using their power to freeze the hacked coin (which they must do).

It is also possible that insider is involved on the hack.  In normal case exchanges will look for the addresses used in the hacking and will do everything to freeze it.  Now, it has been days and yet the address used by hacker isn't frozen yet.  Something is not right in here.  I do not think it is the matter of security but I think it is a matter of who own that address.

Ftx hacker bought 7000 eth just now…😱
Why is his wallets no frozen coinbase and usdt.
Stealing funds and buying eth. Weird! 😥

Seems like a weird decision for a hacker to buy ETH with his stolen funds. I mean i would probably buy stablecoins with it in this turbulent market. Also i don't think it is a very good move to buy Ethereum as a hacker because ETH can be pretty easily traced by the authorities, the policy and everyone else. So if he ever wants to cash those ETH out he will probably get caught i think. Maybe he just bought that ETH now to leave them untouched or to stake them for a few years and then in the futures when no one really thinks about that hack anymore he will start to move those funds again. I am sure though that a lot of people will continue to monitor this hacker even in a few years.

It is definitely weird so I guess it's just a matter of hour or day before that address holding the ETH is frozen.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com in trouble? on: November 15, 2022, 12:59:28 PM
What does everyone think about crypto.com is it in trouble or should be ok?

According to the CEO of Crypto.com, the exchange isn't in trouble.  It is that the mistake of transferring $400m to gate.io take a toll on their reputation.  The CEO made it clear that Crypto.com has a 1:1 fund reserve.  Since they don't do any irresponsible lending and investments practice, they said the they also don't run hedge fund[1] so the fund of their customer is intact.

813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My reason to be in btc on: November 15, 2022, 12:25:44 PM

But still, some people use Bitcoin as a payment method because they like the transactions. Though I could agree that most of the people who have bitcoin have it for profit, I admit that I myself own bitcoin for profit and also hope to become rich because of it. Patience and knowledge are a must in holding bitcoin so that we can't panic sell, just like the newbies, when the price drops.

I am one of those who are happy making a transaction in Bitcoin.  Whenever I come across a platform where BTC is accepted, I often try to purchase something from it. Though I avoid tangible things to purchase coz it is a headache to get the parcel in our post office.  Of course, I also can't deny that I am into Bitcoin profits since it would be a waste if I ignore the opportunity.

True, but there are still many countries that are not yet fully available in terms of payment transactions using bitcoin, our country is still quite limited in the use of bitcoin for payment of several purchase transactions, so Bitcoin is still dominant enough to be used for investment. But apart from those two reasons, bitcoin has thrived till now and has found huge adoption across the region.
It doesn't need to wait for a country to approve and implement Bitcoin payment, if you search around the internet, you will find lots of website store that accept BTC as payment.
814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important are exchanges? on: November 14, 2022, 10:47:13 PM
An exchange is a financial instrument that is the bank of cryptocurrencies. It provides a low-risk environment for investors and traders. Exchanges make it easy to buy and sell cryptocurrencies, their existence provides better popularity, and it also helps to Bitcoin’s popularity and popularity.

Lol, exchanges aren't the bank of cryptocurrency, they are the marketplace of cryptocurrency.  That is the reason why many users of exchanges suffers a lot because they think that exchanges are like bank.  Exchanges are for trading not for keeping our funds.

Bitcoins can exist without exchanges, but would you support the argument that the existence of exchanges are among the factors facilitating the popularity and accessibility that people have to bitcoins?

It is now that people values exchange that will make people think that without exchanging bitcoin cannot be successful, let me say earlier this year we have a list of new exchanges, but in 2009 when bitcoin was introduced are there in 2012 my people started adopting Bitcoin no one nose more exchange like this but we we are using pair to pair without using interneting exchange it was moving successful so, so I believe not without a change Bitcoin can continue to stay

Exchanges hasten the adoption of cryptocurrency, it also boost the exposure and market presence of any cryptocurrency.  Yes during the earlier year, Bitcoin even without exchanges are being adopted by the process is very slow until crypto exchange is established and made different cryptocurrency accessible to people in just one click.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts when all Bitcoins are mined? on: November 14, 2022, 10:21:49 PM
The last BTC will be mined in approx. 2140. But the change is not going to happen overnight. There are a lot of factors that may change within this period, giving miners time to adjust to the new rewarding system and for the BTC network to remain secure. In more than 100 years from now, it seems likely that all these issues will have been solved by Bitcoin Core developers and the wider cryptocurrency community.

I do not think that there is problem with the system that pays miners from tx fee.  I believe it is already happening, Miners compete for the new block and mine the block together with the tx fee.  There is no need for the miners to adjust, they just need to point their miners and hash away, solving blocks and mining tx fees.

I think by that time, the scalability issue will be solved.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Quitting only a break on: November 14, 2022, 09:54:33 PM
Gambling is a habit so difficult to stop

I agree, because of several factors gambling habit is really difficult to contain. It has something to do with the dopamine that is being produced during a gambling session that keep us wanting to gambling more.  The more we engage in gambling the more it is hard for us to stop.  And whenever we think we already quit and stopped, then comes the time we found ourselves gambling again.  So yeah @OP is correct when we thought we are quitting, what we mean is just taking a break.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 14, 2022, 09:30:12 PM
I talk on live roullete in physical casino can it be rigged?

It can be rigged, there are two given method stated in this article that can rig a roullete.

Ball tripping this is intentionally dislodging the ball from the track prematurely to make the ball settle on the desired spot [1]

The other one is by rigging the wheel mechanically by placing or using small blocking pin. [1]

818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not your key not your coins is real, not just quoted. (FTX Issue) on: November 14, 2022, 09:09:45 PM
That quote "Not your key not your coins" I just know work from today when looking how difficult to withdraw our money if we don't have the private key and seed.

As I know, this is not the first time the exchange or other platform hold customer money in their pocket. it's obvious de facto, it's our money but they can't give to us.
It's as real as that.

You know, exchanges are just like banks, most of them are centralised and so they call the shorts, just like banks. You might have an account number which is synonymous to an account number and a password just like you've got on exchanges too.

True, but the exchanges are not made to bank our funds.  They are made to exchange cryptocurrencies and we must use it according to its function .. to trade and not to bank our fund and keep it on the exchange.  We will see how devastating it is if we keep on using exchanges as bank when the exchange got bankrupt or hacked (FTX the recent example).

They are at right to limit your withdrawals, access to your accounts, demand compliances, froze your account, keep records on you with the the authorities if necessary and more.
It's truly centralized and you don't have access so, you've got to tread carefully. Try not to leave large amounts on an exchange. You identify the advantage you wish to benefit from, make use of it and your out.

Yeah, since they(exchange) own the key where we keep our funds(if we keep our funds on exchanges), they have all the power and authority to use our funds and we can't do anything about that.
819  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: November 13, 2022, 11:22:53 PM
I also feel like we are getting close to bullish days compared to start of bear run back in time. Price sort of stabilized and I feel that demand for Bitcoin is far bigger/better compared to 2 months ago. These are key reasons Bitcoin may surprise us by entering bull run. February 2023 seems plausible for start of next bull run. I plan to buy Bitcoin around march/april to guarentee myself honestly. But its hard to be sure of this.

The recent events feels like the bullish days just drifted away.  Looking at the market history, bullish transition will happen somewhere between the beginning of 2023 and Bitcoin halving.  the recent Bitcoin surge is just a bull trap.  See how the market plummet after days of rallying to $21k. I think the FTX fiasco is just a tool to FUD the market.

Anyone that is interested in investing in this market needs to take into consideration that it is likely we are still going to experiment moments of instability during the next months, as I doubt that things are over and we could see the collapse of more exchanges in the future, since it is impossible the confidence of traders and investors is not going to be shaken after the massive collapse of FTX, so with this in mind I expect the bear market to become even more adverse.

Investing in Bitcoin is already known as no brainer.  We all know as long as we are into long term, a possible profit can be realized.  Just don't think of short term if someone planned to invest in BTC.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: People looking For new ways to make money in Crisis new growing industry on: November 13, 2022, 10:56:55 PM
MLM has painted a negative picture to the minds of millions of people because those companies with this business model have been scamming people for ages. Lots of MLM companies offer investment programs that are too good to be true, often in the form of HYIP investments, to lure people in and scam them afterwards. If you're looking to make money on the side, I suggest you not meddle with MLM and instead learn useful skills that you can offer online. Tons of companies out there are looking for outsourced talents and you can be one of those who made it big freelancing.

There is nothing wrong with MLM as long as the company involved is legit.  MLM system is a great tool to boost ones time.  Through weblike duplication, we are able to multiply our time and make it more than 24 hours a day.  Though people need to work hard in order to establish his network of people.  But to be at safe side, I think affiliate marketing can be an alternative to network marketing.  Just make sure that the kind of affiliate marketing we are joining doesn't need us to pay for some kind of registration fee.  Grin
