101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 23, 2020, 03:31:49 PM
Crypto markets are holding steady for another day following a slight pullback from their recent rally. Ethereum is still looking strong but can it finally pull out of its two-year bear market?

https://bitcoinist.com/is-ethereum-about-to-break-out-of-a-2-year-bear-market/
as of now ethereum already recover and I think it will still climb more in the next few months because eth still has its own purpose
but to recover from the last ATH and break it it won record in terms of the price i think it will be hard for it to reach the last ATH again.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 23, 2020, 03:27:57 PM

As the subject goes, can we expect the newly developed Altcoin that can go beyond Bitcoin?
in my opinion, it's nearly impossible
as of now there already thousand of different altcoin
some of them are good and have a different purpose but will never go beyond bitcoin

103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12.5% Tax on Real Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 03:24:42 PM
So, BCH is the real bitcoin  Grin
Roger is Satoshi  Cheesy He does not like Bitcoin anymore because he has found the most decentralized chain BCH.
The real decentealized shitcoin miners have to pay 12.5% taxes on each block reward  Cheesy That's for developing firm from Hong Kong. The tax will be affective from May.
Enjoy the network, decentralized network.

https://coingape.com/a-12-5-tax-on-mining-rewards-is-bitcoin-cash-bch-really-decentralized/
they want to take advantage of the miner and earn free money
its looks like they can't support the fake pump anymore and need more support
when this coin collapse every supporter of this coin will regret it
its really best to stay away from this coin
104  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 03:18:43 PM
I had a discussion with my parents earlier, saying that they want to start operating our milk tea food cart. We had the cart ready, materials for making the milk tea and so on. Instead of waiting for June or July until the new school building opens, we decided to put our business in a mall rather than the school sooner than later.

My dad was a traditional business style guy. He kept failing because of not being creative and innovative, and sometimes ignoring my suggestions and advice. However, this time, since I am into crypto and blockchain industry, he was thinking about displaying a Bitcoin QR code.

In the city that I lived, there were no businesses yet who accept Bitcoin payments. They do have QR codes, but mostly from a centralized provider and not crypto-related.

I already have my mom's Bitcoin wallet verified, and may need to upgrade it to a Business account as it needs business permit and other requirements necessary. It'll be used for the business anyways.

I think this is going to be a worthwhile experiment, and a great way to start letting people aware about Bitcoin. Maybe I should put some creative promos for those who will buy milk tea using Bitcoin. What do you guys think?
maybe you can start to accept it as an alternative and maybe give a small discount for those who pay using bitcoin
this is good way to promote bitcoin and i hope someday many merchant will follow you.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Number, Who Own 1 bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 03:15:26 PM
As of Jan. 14 we already have 784,000address that owns 1 bitcoin or more. The number is already had an 11% increase from 707,000 that is recorded a year ago. In 2015 has more than doubled. Most of the address came from exchanges and big player "whales" that usually hold a big amount of bitcoin.

For me, this is great news since bitcoin is influencing a lot of users, as the number increases meaning the community is already getting bigger surely when a lot of people invested in bitcoin it could easily increases the market price of the bitcoin because of the supply and demand thing.

In my experience, it is not easy to earn 1 bitcoin so I think most of them are investors.

What is your opinion about this? How does it affect bitcoin?

i agree its really a good news because the supply is starting to be divided in a small amount
this is really a sign that many new investors start to own and hold bitcoin in their own wallet

106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote Bitcoin..... It is for "us" on: January 22, 2020, 05:13:00 PM
When I knew about bitcoin, it was about 10,000 USD. I started understanding how it emerged and how it works. I did (and still do) my best to promote bitcoin too (include my purchase of a branded bitcoin shirt). Though the increase of bitcoin between 2009 - 2019 is the biggest increase I've ever seen, nothing got me as weak as this (a thread Laszlo made on the 18th of may 2010)

Quote
I'll pay 10,000 bitcoins for a couple of pizzas.. like maybe 2 large ones so I have some left over for the next day.  I like having left over pizza to nibble on later.  You can make the pizza yourself and bring it to my house or order it for me from a delivery place, but what I'm aiming for is getting food delivered in exchange for bitcoins where I don't have to order or prepare it myself, kind of like ordering a 'breakfast platter' at a hotel or something, they just bring you something to eat and you're happy!

I like things like onions, peppers, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepperoni, etc.. just standard stuff no weird fish topping or anything like that.  I also like regular cheese pizzas which may be cheaper to prepare or otherwise acquire.

If you're interested please let me know and we can work out a deal.

Thanks,
Laszlo

Reading thought this, I felt somehow. First is because he was doing that just to promote the bitcoin. Second is that he offered 10,000 bitcoins for it. 😕
Since I went through that post, I've been feeling weird though I learnt something but....... That is touching 😔

I know that many people are focused on the 10,000 bitcoins (wishing they could get it) but then, let us ALWAYS PROMOTE BITCOIN.
Laszlo served as a very good example here by trying to use bitcoin (22/5/2010) to purchase pizza (and obviously, his goal was achieved as bitcoin is now used for purchase).  Let us all find a way to promote bitcoin! It is for "us"!

in my opinion, bitcoin is a currency so its better not to regret it if you use your bitcoin when it low
i also use some of my bitcoin before to pay online or withdraw it in cash
but i didn't regret it because i use it already for purpose of it at that time.

107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay Away of this scam Coin on: January 22, 2020, 05:00:22 PM
As you can see this coin has risen 600%, the coin is only listed in Crex24 which is another home of scam coin. Don't invest your money on this sick scam coin. Check the image from Crex24 too. All the order is very small which are created only to pushing the price by DEV team or a group of people. Most coin listed in Crex24 are scam mostly. Stay away. Happy trading  Wink

By the way, this is a great signal of altcoin season. This is not a piece of financial advice.

well it really looks like a pump and dump coin in not popular exchange so it's really better to stay from it
there is a lot of different shitcoin in different exchange and if the coin doesn't have any further development just stay away from it

108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OneCoin Ponzi Scheme: Scam of the Decade Continues in 2020’s Oceania on: January 22, 2020, 04:47:36 PM
Recently, we’ve published an investigation into a large-scale Ponzi-scheme called OneCoin. The scheme had its branches in several different countries across several continents, defrauding people of billions of dollars.

The project appeared dead and its official website onecoin.eu was shut down as of November 30th, 2019. But, since January 8th, 2020, the website is back online.

It seems that the scheme is still operating, at least in New Zealand.

forklog.media puts together the latest findings regarding OneCoin’s fate, as well as a brief reminder about its notorious past.

https://forklog.media/onecoin-ponzi-scheme-scam-of-the-decade-continues-in-2020s-oceania/
im already familiar with Ponzi and hyip so i will not become a victim of this king scheme
but its still good to spread this kind of news because many newbies still lack of knowledge about crypto and greedy
there is no easy money in crypto its better to be aware and safe.

109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me? on: January 22, 2020, 04:41:22 PM
January 2019 we have more bounties at that time but this year January seem to be different, very few bounty projects shows up, I'm not saying scam projects aren't around but this forum seem relieved from many junky projects like that of 2019, maybe scammers are tired of not getting answers in return? Maybe people are now smarter and scammers are starving? I so wish so 🙏 lol what about you?
i think bounty hunters become really smart because of the past experience
as a bounty hunter i will also stop supporting the project without advance payment or escrow
it already happens a lot of time in the past where you will not get any payment and I think everyone is also tired of false promises.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating shit TOKEN make good profit ? on: January 22, 2020, 04:36:07 PM
Hi guys
do u think if i created a shit token (with no project) and add it to shit exchange can i get profit ?  Grin
i mean im preparing to create a token and add it to new exchanges with law fees
and i promote investors for ex to give them 50 per cent of any ammount they bought
from the token for ex if you bought 10000 coins i will give u 5000 coins for free
do u think this idea can make investors buy it ?
i read many news about scammer being caught
in my opinion, this is the easiest for you to go to jail
this is only good at the start but if this will collapse someday you will be label as scammer because this is similar to ponzi

111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some exchanges charges are too high on: January 21, 2020, 04:45:11 PM
How many exchanges you know of that have too high withdrawal fee? I was shocked that Dcoin exchange wants 0.001 for any bitcoin withdrawal you want to make while other exchanges charges only 5000 Satoshi for bitcoin withdrawal, I was forces to exchange my bitcoin for litecoin before getting my coins out
for the small transaction, I also use altcoin for withdrawal
this is one of the problems for some exchange
ever since they didn't change the fee for withdrawal in bitcoin
let just hope they will do something about this in the future

112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of a bounty manager. on: January 21, 2020, 04:33:29 PM
Yes we are talking about the hassle which the bounty manager goes through and bounties of good projects which fails and the development team ends up with huge loss, as a result, they could not focus on further developments and just don't bother to distribute the bounty tokens to the bounty hunters until the investors trade the tokens or else just shuts down the project.

Management's fault:
They tend to be greedy at one point of time and starts thinking that if they distribute the bounty to the hunters they will dump it anyway nad the value of token will crash down and they dealy the distribution meanwhile the bounty hunters start writing bad about the project and there were instances that the genuine bounty projects were termed as scam for this issue.

Bounty hunter's fault:
Bounty hunter just join any random campaign without investigating and then they are the greediest bunch(not everyone) I have seen while managing the campaigns as one user registers with hundreds of fake accounts and that too their account has followers who have nothing to do with crpto as most of them as desperate who just follows the twitter account by looking at fake DP of some hot girls which are often used by the hunters to gain more followers, moreover, the bounty users enter their ETH address on some other person's profile as well and if the bounty manager does not check that then the cheater will get paid twice and the person who works hard will not be paid, submitting false report is one of the main concern wherein the bounty manager has to check thousands of report and some of them just copy-paste old reports to get reward without working.

Then comes those users who keeps spamming the telegram group by sharing some scam projects and irrelevant stuff from numerous fake profiles.

I think the whole bounty process has become a shithole and the worst part is that the signature campaigns are not entertained by bounties as they want to reach wider audience without knowing that most of the social media campaigns do not reach any real audience as it reaches some fake profiles who follow the bounty hunters just by looking at their picture.

Regardless of the issue, the bounty managers are cursed as if they are paying out of their pocket. Users needs to understand that even bounty managers are paid for their job just like bounty hunters and most of the time even they are not paid for their hardwork. Even a slightest negligence from bounty hunters gets them a negative trust thanks to those merit thirsty users who tries to blame it all on bounty hunters to get a merit.

this is just a brief of not even 5% of pain which bounty managers go through.
it's better not to blame anyone for this and just learn from it
as of now just join the campaign that will put the payment in escrow
and for bounty manager, it is better to ask to escrow the payment for the campaign

113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right way to teach them? on: January 21, 2020, 03:52:31 PM

And you need the most important lesson of them all (no.1) What is Bitcoin. If you are not willing to talk about Bitcoin, don't come talking about Satoshi.

Thanks for your suggestion bro perfect point, Actually there are a lot of videos on YouTube for this, but I want to educate my local community
i think this is a good idea to support bitcoin and if you want to educate local it will be hard and expensive
it's better if you will make a website and make it online provide everything they need in 1 website
then told them to contact you if they have some question and just organize group session once or twice a month
you can make it with lower cost and can be sustained without many expenses
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my bitcoin on: January 21, 2020, 03:39:07 PM

Going short or long has got me so much money but at the same time, it makes me too bold.

Now what?

Stop doing it? or Start diversified investment in Stock?

or Not at all?

the market will not always favor to you this is one of the thing traders should know
being confident in your investment is a good thing but being bold in trading not necessary right
by taking more risk you have a higher chance of losing all your money
it better to diversify your investment and invests higher to the thing you have trust with low risk

115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This is why you shouldn't trust a Centralized Exchange! on: January 20, 2020, 06:13:49 PM
Hack, scam are common things in Centralized exchange. Don't get fooled by the high rank or huge trading volume, still, they are not safe! Binance CEO CZ was very confident that Binance is like a hardware wallet, he tweeted about it and after one month of that tweet, Binance got hacked and 7000 Bitcoin was compromised! Bithumb, Coinbene was hacked several times, many centralized exchanges scammed us.

Recently BCNEX exchange is likely to scam, they locked withdrawal, after 20 days when they unlocked the withdrawal function, people started withdrawing their money, but BCNEX is not finishing our withdrawals, they limited the itl by 50$ only! I have withdrawn my ETH 6 hours ago, still pending, some withdrew 14 hours go, still pending!

So, this is proved again why you shouldn't keep your money on a centralized exchange! Your money can be a scam or hacked anytime!
well its not really a good idea to put all your money in exchange
only put the amount you need to trade and withdraw it as soon as possible
exchange is really not secure as it seems a lot of exchange closed in the past because of hacked
if only there will be a good decentralized exchange that we can use with many users I will not also use a centralized exchange
116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff Lost His Bitcoin on: January 20, 2020, 06:05:55 PM
According to Cointelegraph, perennial bitcoin bear Peter Schiff has lost his bitcoin due to losing his password:

https://cointelegraph.com/news/peter-schiff-lost-his-bitcoin-claims-owning-crypto-was-a-bad-idea

What are your thoughts?
It look like he is just telling a lie for bitcoin to get some bad impression
base on twitter he doesn't want other people to help him he said that he know his password.
but for me it look like he doesn't really lose some bitcoin and he knows that there is nothing to recover that's why he doesn't need help.
117  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Okay. Charge tax on bitcoin. Is this fair policy? on: January 20, 2020, 05:39:10 PM

I noticed that certain country may charge tax on earning from Bitcoin trading...

20% tax on it. I think this is quite ridiculous.

That means govt sees it as a lottery.

What do you guys think?
it's not really a bad thing if we will pay tax for bitcoin trading but only if we gain some profit
and i think they also need to add some minimum gains because small trader cant afford it
the exchange already has a fee even the withdrawal we also need to pay some fee.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright provided the list of addresses that contains 1.1 million btc on: January 18, 2020, 11:59:11 AM
As the case against kleiman progresses, Craig Wright produced a list of addresses that supposedly contains 1.1 million bitcoins as evidence in front of the judge, the coins mined together by Craig and Kleiman on the initial stage of Bitcoin.
https://u.today/craig-wright-provides-list-of-16404-bitcoin-btc-addresses-that-contain-95-bln-is-he-real-satoshi?amp
to prove that he is the real satoshi he needs to show the ownership of all the wallet
this will not prove anything only those don't have knowledge in crypto will believe it
every address that mined bitcoin is public we can see it in bitcoin explorer

119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH, BSV more profitable than Ethereum? on: January 18, 2020, 11:52:25 AM
I don't know what happened with the Ethereum, why this coin's price is not growing that much? Without Bitcoin pumping, Ethereum can't grow a bit. Where BCH or even BSV price keeps pumping like the bull run! Now, 1 BSV coin's price is more than double of 1 Ethereum. I am a holder of Etherem, but day by day I am being frustrated by holding it, it's price is far lower than 200 USD! Unbelievable. What do you think guys? Should I convert my ETH into BSV or BCH for more profit?
in my opinion, eth has a clear purpose that those coins
eth have token creation so we can say that it has a demand it just needs to have some regulation to stop those scam in their platform
while the other price is just rising because they are telling something without clear evidence to make a hype
if you will look at it they are just making a fake pump that soon will collapse because of lack of demand

120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Government Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2020, 11:40:28 AM
China is planning to launch their crypto currency, with attention to distribution and adoption, since they are involving all four major banks in the country, two major e-commerce websites Alibaba and Tencent and UnionPay as online payment provider for all four state banks involved in the project

crypto will be centralized and controlled by the state, but high level of acceptance shall be expected

plan is to launch it no later than 2020, november 11, according to latest news, will be interesting how this is going to influence crypto markets this year
in my opinion, it will be a good thing for bitcoin
if one country will launch its own crypto it will make more people aware of crypto
not everyone will support it but at least if needed we will still use it
other country is just waiting for one country to try and support cryptocurrency and if it becomes successful i think other countries will follow
if this will happen many countries will have their own cryptocurrency and bitcoin will be the main crypto that will be the start of mainstream
